Azrael leaned aganist a tree. "They say no allies," she states, "but who plays the rules, im looking for an ally." Azrael finishes.

Jay shrugged.
"I'm game.....if you don't try to kill me. If we make an alliance I'd rather die at the hands of another tribute than the one I made my alliance with." He said, smiling at Az as kindly as he could. He didn't trust her, even if she had asked for an alliance and put away her weapons. He knew that if he had to, he could run, but he wondered how powerful she was with the bow. He sidestepped nervously.

[Better Dig Two]

"Fine...I wont fight you until i have to." Azrael says smiling. Jay sidesteps, she giggles, "you are scared of me? Is it my bow or that im from 12?" she says smiling, playing with her blonde curly hair.

Jay glared at her meaningfully.
"No, its the fact that you have the mind to track someone who may or may not want to kill you." He narrowed his eyes. "But you accept alliance immdeiatly. I would be careful...but you trust me as much as I trust you." He continued, letting his words show the anger he harbored for the Capitol. He very much hoped that the cameras had been trained on him when he said those words. His eyes flashed, and he clenched his fists.

[Better Dig Two]

Azrael frowned, "maybe i thought of killing you right there, but didn't. You would be stupid to trust anyone in here, who really wants to be here?" Azrael states strongly, starring at Jay, with cold eyes.

Jay chuckled.
"You say that like I asked for your alliance. I'm sorry to say I trust you, and I know you trust me. You feel lost and hopeless...you just want someone to stand by your side. Untill the time comes." He laughed, but his words turned cold when he said the last statement. He remembered his two sisters at home, hoping he would win. He knew he couldn't.

[Better Dig Two]

"you don't know what I feel, maybe I trust you, and I don't know why. I know I'm not winning these games, I trained myself in bow, waisting time until my father comes from the mines. My mother and sister and rest of my family are sitting at home, wanting me to win. Bringing fame and food home." Azrael says starting hard and ending softly, "I speak the truth, im probally am going to die. I welcome that when i have to, knowing I'm not winning."

Jay took this as an apology for the arrow. He understood her. He wasn't a career tribute...he had been chosen, but without training.Useful training. His family barely got the food they needed....he was a provider for them. He lowered his eyes.
"Then, if you or me win, we win for both of us. Thats an alliance." He said quietly.

[Better Dig Two]

"allinced accepted. Sorry for the arrow," Azrael says softly, looking down at the ground.

(i was going to describe her clothing, but they all have matching clothing. lol)

He nodded in agreement, then looked up at her.
"Are you thirsty? I have a small waterskin." He said, offering his leather waterskin to Az.
