[Better Dig Two]

(back from show choir... We got third place... Out of three teams..)
Azrael follows behind Jay silently, but quicken to his side. Looking over at him, but glanced away quickly. "what is it like in 4?" she asks breaking the silence.

Jay smiled slightly.
"My family lived near the ocean. My father was a fisherman, and my mother was a weaver. My uncle, who lived with us, was also a fisherman. We would fish morning to evening. The terrain was amazing. Rolling hills that waved with grass, and amber mountains on the horizon. The ocean was so blue.....it looked like the cresent of blue on a gull's wings. Me and my two sisters used to hunt gulls in the spring. We'd collect eggs and cook them for breakfast. My mother used gull feathers in her weaving, but some times we would sell them in the hob...." Jay stated, realizing how much he missed home.

Azrael looks over at him, "sounds amazing." she says softly.

"It was.." Jay breathed quietly, thinking back to his sunny afternoons, fighing or catching gulls in his home made nets. But, he didn't let his thoughts linger there, he quickley regained his alertness and looked around cautiously. "What was your home like?" He asked after awhile.

[Better Dig Two]

"Not much, a shack, dirt floor. I personaly would wake up in the middle of the night, to go hunting in the forest, otherwise the Peacekeepers wouldn't let you go into the forest in the day. Then what I hunting, I traded some for bread or other food. Save a rabbit or two a take that home. I kept doing that waiting for my father to come back from the mines. When he did get a break, he would take my sister and i to the hob, then that night into the forest, teaching me how to shoot my bow. But that was like twice and then i taught myself. That is what 12 is like." Azrael says looking around then at Jay.

Jay nodded.
"When I was old enough to be put into the Hunger Games, my mother forced me not to get tesserae. She wouldn't let me. But we fell on hard times, and I had no choice. When my name was pulled I had my name entered 60 times, my oldest sister who is 13, is entered 20 times. And my 12 year old sister is entered 8 times." Jay said quietly. He reminded himself he would not die, then he thought about how one of his sister's names may be pu8lled in a few months...

"Oh," she says sadly." I entered once, named pulled." Azrael says walking looking around.

"Lucky." He smiled, not wanting to hurt Az.

"sure totally luckky being drawn for the Hunger Games." Azrael says sarcasticly. "My life dream!" she says laughing her head off.

Jay grimaced.
"I meant you only entering your name once. Lucky." He said, not catching her sarcasm.
