It's fine, I have the same thing for Kaoru. . _. Ugh. Nevermind. I've been staring at this for a while and finally formed something. c:
I think I know what your plan is. o:

Haruhi Fujioka
Haruhi stepped into the club room; she had stepped out to talk to a teacher of hers about an assignment and when she came back in, everyone was there. She stood at the outer part of the circle; no one had noticed her yet and she was fine with that. She sat down in a chair, listening in on the conversation.
Kaoru Hitachiin
Kaoru sighed softly; he knew Hikaru didn't like Umi the same way. Hikaru wasn't the touchy-feely type, he was more of a one night stand kind of guy and that worked for him, but for girls like Umi... It would crush her. He looked over at Hikaru who was laughing with some other people. Kaoru leaned back in his chair; he didn't want to hurt Umi, but it would be better than what Hikaru might do, even though it would be unintentional... When he heard Umi speak again, he smiled. He was her support in situations like this. "Umi... I think it would be good to listen to your sister. I'm not saying you should do what she says, but think about it. Hikaru isn't the romantic type, and I should know. I've seen the way he acts around girls outside the club. I just don't want you to get hurt." He took Umi's hand and squeezed it softly, giving her a small, comforting smile. "I'm by your side, though, no matter what you decide to do."
Kyouya Ootori
Kyouya looked at Kai, thinking and absorbing what she was saying. He mainly got his research from medical records and his cousin, who was a detective. He had come across that section of Umi's file, but he only read a little bit. Something like that was personal and he didn't go into detail about it, just the things he needed to know. "Kai, I know your trying to help your sister, but I don't think telling your mother made the situation any better." He sighed and leaned forward a little bit, resting his elbows on the table instead of his legs. "I know a little about that, but I don't go into detail on personal things of that nature... I'm not trying to offend you or anything, but having this fight with her may not be the right thing. Confronting her about it would be much better rather then getting into this. I saw the way you looked at her when you guys came in and I could see how much pain both of you were in." He poured himself a cup of tea and gave Kai a soft look, much unlike the usual Kyouya. "If she knew you were just trying to help her then I think she'd listen to you."
