The orange haired girl smiled as she looked at her boyfriend. She hummed and looked around the odd room.

The raven dark haired boy blinked his eyes as he smiled down at the cat as he held him. He said “Okay,” and began to look around the room.

The black and white, yellow collar wearing cat purred a bit as he was held. His white tipped tail flicked and moved a couple times.

The light brown haired male looked at the girl. “My name is Goro Akechi. I’m a teenage detective,” he said.

The blue eyed boy whined when the dream faded then...The people and dog/cat loving one opened his eyes and sighed. He sat up and changed forms, clothed, and looked around himself. His long black hair was loose as he reached up to touch it.

“... Oh. The Island that I live on, there are simulations where people get to kill each other all the time. But, as it’s a simulation, the people are fine when it ends. I’d prove it, if I had any scars to show you” the implication of any of the words spoken by either of them did not seem to properly register in Rex’s mind. He was already speaking about the next point without even considering many of his words. “And, hey, at least you can actually remember your past! What can I say about my own past? Well, you know, nothing. The Island being damaged and destroyed multiple times all happened within a few years. I’ve died more times than anyone can count. I’ve even been stuck in a black hole before! And the way that that happened is really weird and hard to explain without explaining everything that happened before it. Without any context it would be a weird story”

Arisa~ “Nice find Arisa, why do you want him so bad.” Artemis asked me in my mind. “Indeed, because I don’t have Yuki, and he’ll have to do for us for now.” I said to Artemis in my mind.. I smiled happily. “Looks like your weakness is detectives.” Artemis said to me in my head “Yeah of course it is.” I said to Artemis in my mind. “I like detectives, they are cool, tell me about the cases pretty please.” I said to Goro. Some strands of my raven black hair got into my face. I moved a strand of my hair away from my face.

Gemmei~ I followed them inside. I saw multiple security Monitors and other security things. I looked over at one of the monitors and saw a girl with raven black hair and blue eyes and I recognized the girl right away it was Arisa Fowl. Arisa talking to a boy(Goro). I noticed Arisa was acting all cute and innocent and persuading the boy(Goro) to work with her. “Well that isn’t good, she followed Morie, Akihisa and I.” I thought to myself. “She’s flirting with him to get him to work ”Typical Arisa fowl, of course she is, she loves having someone working with her.” I said to myself.

He had tensed up a little when the teenager had placed a hand on his arm, but Midas insisted on getting the door open. Besides, he wasn't hurt, so he wasn't too concerned about that anyway.

Once the door opened, Midas stepped back, dusting down his suit. From where they were standing, it seemed to be some sort of entertainment room, with quite a bit of open space, but also a large piano, several chairs and couches to sit at, and shelves of books lining the walls.
He glanced down towards the teenager, noticing that they were signing something, but Midas didn't quite understand. He figured that he could at least try and interpret the question from them, though, based on the signs. "Inside?" he questioned, "Yes, we may as well." Midas replied, and he walked into the room first, to make sure that it was safe. Like with the first room, no one was here, just... unused for a long time. "It seems to be safe." Midas added.

Ethan grinned, feeling a bit more confident now, knowing that at least one person here seemed to like him. As he looked at some of the ornaments, he noticed two more people entering the mansion. Ethan looked up, towards them, and stopped short. While one of the men was wearing a dinosaur outfit that seemed to also work as some form of light armour, perhaps, the other man's appearance was what made him stop short. Ethan's eyes shifted, glowing purple as he watched the man wearing a purple suit. A man that bore a vague resemblance to him. But it wasn't possible, right? Unless there was some other timeline...

When the two had left to go to another room, Ethan's eyes returned to normal - but he didn't seem to have even realised they'd shifted in the first place. This could be his chance for answers to a mystery he'd wanted to solve for a long time himself. "Perhaps we should follow those two. Might be better to be in a larger group?" Ethan suggested. There was safety in numbers, right?
Regardless, Ethan was already following, looking for the room that the other two had entered.

I lifted my shirt a bit and showed the spring-lock scars. "These...are my scars... I was in an accident. I don't want to talk about it. Let's keep moving, and looking for this friend of yours." I walked down the hall, not paying attention to Rex. One room though...it...was pulling me towards it, with powerful force... I walked to the door and turned the knob. A knife was on a single table in the room. Pictures of kids... I picked up the knife and put it in my belt. "Um, let's keep going, how does that sound?"

"My scars were from all sorts of things! Being stabbed, being shot, getting hit by dangerous things, all those fun ways! And yet, I'll never be able to show off any of it. They're all gone. They always heal whenever I die"' Ah. Rex hadn't even considered the fact that he never mentioned his odd trait of immortality yet. Humans weren't supposed to be immortal, they weren't supposed to be able to heal all injuries either "... Wow, you have a lot of scars! That looks like it must have hurt. Tho- I don't really know if anything can hurt more than being shot right here..." He moves one hand up, pointing towards his forehead. Because the hat he wore was in the way, it was moved slightly by his hand, making his blue eyes slightly visible.
Rex had been absolutely tuned out for where they were going. He hadn't been paying attention to any of the rooms, so he sort of had no clue where the two of them were currently. Oops. Oh well. As usual, the dinosaur-man had been too busy focusing on the conversation and what they were saying. "Uhh... Yeah, of course, that's probably a good idea, we probably should"
