Plot
It has been 25 years since the first hyrids ever created escaped the Island, a place of beauty and comfort within the protective folds of the bermuda triangle. Why would anyone want to escape such a place you ask? How about because the government put them there so they could charge professional hunters to go and kill them for sport. How did they get away with this? Well the hybrids were able to shift in and out of their animal forms any time they wanted...except for during the full moon. It was in this single night every month that the hunters would be allowed to hunt on the island. But thankfully, after some clever planning, the hybrids were able to escape the island and go back to where they were "made", New York. Not all of them made it though. When they arrived back to civilazation they were greeted with guns and scientists who were bent on getting rid of them, calling them scientific "mistakes" that never should have happened. Many died during that battle but the resourcful hybrids eventually prevailed. Finally unimpeded by their hateful creators, the few surviving hybrids broke into groups and pairs, spreading throughout the U.S. and melting into society as best they could.
And now, 25 years later, their children strive to live like normal human beings as well...except that they arn't. Due to the first generation of hybrids mixing, they have inheritated their parents abilitys as well, gaining the abilitys to shift into both of the parent's animal types. Awsome right? Not so much. There are two draw backs, for there must always be draw backs. Instead of being forced into their animal forms only once a month at the full moon, the second generation are forced for some inexplicable reason to shift at both the full moon and the new moon. And on top of that, when they are forced to shift at these times the two animals they can shift in to morph into a mix of the two. So if a hybrid can shift into a cheetah and an eagle then during the new or full moon they might become a cheetah with wings or an eagle with a cheetah tail. The other problem is that when they are in their human form they keep one aspect of each of their animal forms. So again, the cheetah/eagle hybrid might have a cheetah tail and eagle vision or some other combination WHILE IN THEIR HUMAN FORM.(I thought I'd make that clear since people seemed to be missing it.) Such things tend to make blending in rather difficult and it is because of these aspects that they are being hunted once more. The first generation of hybrids haven't been the only ones busy. A few of the scientists that were involved in the hybrid project at first survived the battle and had children of their own. Driven by the need to get revenge on their creations for distroying their perfect organization, they injected their children with the DNA of a grizzily bear. Unfortunatly for the kids, they were not injected with the correct formula and when they shift they turn into a sort of ugly half bear half human creature. Despite their horrid appearance, they retain the massive strength and tracking abilitys of the grizzily. Oddly, during the new and full moons, they turn into full bears and as humans they have no extra markings of their bear sides. Brought up to hate by their vengful parents, these warped children have been sent out to track down and kill all other hybrids...and their prey have no idea they are comming.

12. You may have as many characters as you want but you are expected to play all of them
13. 1st gen look like normal humans when in human form, only have one animal they can shift into, and are only forced to shift on the full moon.
14. 2nd gen keep two of their animal aspects when in human form, one from each animal. They can shift into two animals, the two that their parents can shift into. They are forced to shift on the new and full moons.
15. The evil children of the evil scientists will be referred to as the Morphers
16. Yes you may be a morpher if you wish but if you want to be one you MUST be evil. No nice morphers.
17. Just so you know, the first generation of hybrids were orphans taken out of orphanages.
18. If you dont post for five days your characters will be deleted. Of course there are exceptions.
19. If you are just joining and we are a ways into the RP then pleeeease just read the last couple of pages and slip in.
20. I don't do recaps. They bug me. I will give general overviews but I would appriciate it if you would read the stuff!
