Welcome to the House of Night!

One day, an adult vampire shows up at your school. He walks through the halls and boldly, steps in front of you. He touches your forehead, and tells you that you've been Marked, chosen to become a vampire. He vanishes, leaving you with a crescent moon shaped mark on your forehead, much like a tattoo. Even if you try to rub or wash it off, nothing happens. Within the day, another vampire named Neferet comes to pick you up. She tells you about the House of Night, a school for another fledgling vampires like yourself. Now you've got a choice: Go with her, and face your destiny. Or, stay where you're at and die without your vampire companions.

Rules:

No Power Playing.
No instant filled in tattoos, unless you plan on playing as Zoey.
If you wish to play as Zoey, you must be accepted by me. All others may start RPing immediately.
No ignoring other characters. If someone's new in this forum, make them feel welcome!
Replies should be a paragraph long. That's 3+ sentences. I know, this sounds rude but I don't want 1-line answers. It makes RPing difficult for others and you will be removed from this RP for it. HOWEVER if you're speaking to someone or haven't been giving much to reply to, it's acceptable. But only as long as I know you typically post more than one line.
Spelling mistakes are understandable. We're only human... ((Except for me, of course. )) However, grammar is necessary. If you don't know how to use your Shift button, than this RP isn't for you.
Swearing: Tess doesn't want to see cussing on her forums. I personally, don't mind. All cruse words should be *'ed. If I see you've just a cuss word once, I'll forgive it. Again, everyone makes mistakes. However, I don't want to see anyone going overboard.
You may have 3 characters. If you'd like a 4th, you may ask me.

The issue of Human Slaves:
Having a human boyfriend/girlfriend means your vampire can probably control them. I've read Tess's policy about slave RPs and have come up with this: Humans will have Free Will. Any blood bonds must be consensual, with proof by both parties that they're willing to do this. The vampire will have some power over their human, however they can not control them.
Them being slaves to vampires may be a reality in the books, however I'm sure Tess doesn't want to see it. Thank you for understanding.

Elements: Several students are able to use elemental magic. There is Earth, Air, Water, Fire and Spirit. The power over one of these counts in the 'Abilities' section.

Abilities: She is a Spirit user and can often see a person's aura.
Interests: Fashion, mostly.
History: October's mother was a single-parent, so she grew up spending most of her time with her brother. When she became a teenage, she started modeling. She doesn't do it only for the money, she loves seeing herself in magazines as well as dressing up.

Interests: Secretly, he's interested in History.
History: Gabriel's father was an abusive drunk. One day, when he was only 13, his parents got into a fight. His mother was refusing to buy him any more alcohol. Deciding to make an example, his father beat Gabriel. However, this time he was worse than usual and put a hot iron to Gabe's face, burning a scar into his left cheek. After that, his mother ran off taking Gabriel with her. They lived on the run, until arriving in Tulsa, where he met October.
Other: Somewhat of a recycled character.

Personality: Jack is pretty much always smiling. He's bubbly and loves to giggle and have fun. Although at times he can be extremely shy and bashful, he's an extremely nice person with a warm heart. Jack loves to spend time with his friends- whether it be shopping or just chilling out and having a movie marathon. Being creative is something he definitely is. He loves to draw, paint, collage, scrapbook and be very artistic.

Personality: Aubrey is very intelligent and kind. She may look shallow at first sight, but really, she's caring and very sweet towards nearly everyone. She's easy going and loves to be around her friends. She'll go to any lengths to protect her loved ones and she won't stop at anything to do so. Aubrey's determined and can be extremely stubborn at times. She's a lovely person inside and out and will always be there for you, no matter what.

Interests: Aubrey loves to dance, horse ride and spend time with her friends.
History: Before she was marked, Aubrey's life was awful. Her mother had been murdered when Aubrey was only twelve years old, and her father flew straight into depression. Her father found the reliefs of drugs and alcohol, and he used both everyday. Some nights, he'd come home from the bar at around midnight and wake Aubrey up and bash her until she was sprawled on the floor in a puddle of tears and blood. He did this until her fifteenth birthday, that's when he didn't come home that night and he too, was found murdered. She lived with her neglective aunt after that, until the day she got marked.

Personality: Caring and very protective. When Chase falls in love, he protects that girl with his life and would do anything for her in the world. He's trustworthy and likes to joke around and have fun when he can, making him a nice guy to just hang with. No matter what anyone else says, he stays strong on his opinions and beliefs and doesn't let anyone try and change who he is. He'll never be anyone else around people, and will always be himself and do what he loves.

Interests: Playing soccer and drawing detailed things.
History: When he was 12, he was in a serious car crash and lost memory of everything that had happened to him before that date, and sometimes, his mind acts up and he has trouble remembering a few things here and there.
