The only reason everybody hates me is because they don't understand why I am doing this. Night hesitated. She slowly tucked the hair on the left side of her face into her ear, revealing a long, thin scar that ran from behind her ear and down her jawline. "I know how you feel," she said. She slowly traced her finger down her scar. "I was fighting a Fury too. But, I know Ares has helped you. You got to camp safely, did you not?" Then she added hastily, "Before you left, anyway."
