The intelligent and stealthy girl hummed as she finally got all her stuff. She had Sasha in her harness with the leash attached, and she hurried to the stairs. She hummed as she walked quietly down the stairs. She heard her parents talking out there, and her dad sounded too close to the door...Therefore, she rushed over to Karter. She grabbed his arm and tugged, then pointed to the door that led back outside.

The boy shook off his dad's arm, huffing a bit and shaking his head. He and his dad both stopped and looked back when his sister was mentioned. Dad nodded, asking "Would you please help us do that?" Mom then smiled, saying "Thank you so much, and if you're hungry it's on the house."

The friendly but shy male hummed, brushing through his dark hair again. He hummed as he looked down at the dog, then back up. She was leaning on him, like she thought he was getting anxious or something. He felt grateful to her, because this just might make that happen... "You...you were?" he asker, no one having told him that. He then smiled at the woman, saying "I... might be a little hungry."

As he was grabbed, Karter whirled around, tensing, preparing to pull free and either attack or run as needed. It was Navii though, not a threat. The first thing he noticed was the fact that she had a cat. Pray it doesn’t start making noise or we're DONE while we're in town... Then he noticed the alarm on her face, and suspicion and worry flashed through him. "What’s goin' on? Let’s get outta here, tell me what’s up."

"H-Heh...yeah. It’s not exactly a story I tell often, being a member of the Marines and all," Coby noted with a bit of awkwardness. "If you want, I can tell you on the way back though." He’d more than proven himself. He didn’t particularly feel jeopardized by his history, even if it was more than a little embarrassing. Then he nodded to the woman. "What’s your daughter's name, age, and general appearance? And whatever other information you think might be relevant. The more we have to go on, the better."

Kass took the purchases with a small smile, almost invisible. "Of course, darling. I came here for a reason, didn’t I? I offered to come with so I can help, didn’t I?" She pointed out.

The intelligent and stealthy girl made a small sound as she looked up at him. She shook out her long black hair, and sighed a bit. It was a very quiet sigh, then she said "One of them is right outside the connecting door. We need to go!" she then hissed, and headed for the back door.

The boy made a small sound as he listened. he shook his head, Yuli whining a bit. The dog leaned gently on him. He crouched down to hug him. Mother said "Navii, 16, 5’ 4” and 116 lbs. She has tanned skin and wears glasses. She has long black hair that is straight. Her eyes are forest green. She wears blouses and skirts usually, I don't know if that matters."

Panic flashed through Karter at this announcement, and he was sure for a brief moment, it must’ve shown. He cursed silently to himself. There was no time or reason to get worked up if they could escape quickly. He recovered himself quickly though. His shoulders tensed, but his facial expression returned to neutral. "Gotcha. You have everythin' you need?" He asked, already starting to sneak out the back way.

"Doesn’t matter anymore. I’m not too worried about losing my job over something that happened in the past. Might’ve once upon a time, but I think I’ve made myself enough of an asset that I’m secure for now." Coby made note to commit the information of description to memory since he hadn’t brought anything to write with. Black hair and green eyes could fit a number of young women he knew, so age, weight, and description of clothes helped. He nodded to the woman, who looked more than a little worried, understandably. "Alright, thank you, ma’am. I'll check in again tonight to see if she’s come home, and if she hasn’t, we'll launch an immediate search party, and deliver news as soon as we can," he promised.

"For a change?" Kass echoed, tilting her head to the side as they started out of the drugstore. Was that what being a doctor was like? Being alone because nobody understood really what was going on? I’m always around."

"Well let's hurry and get outta here then!" Once he was on his feet on even ground again, Karter straightened and darted forward, making for the street. Out in the street, nobody would question a couple teenagers taking a midday stroll. Though...they might question the cat.

"Actually not a bad idea, though we're due back soon," he realized.

"Well of course. I’m glad to be able to be out and doing something," Kass noted. Sitting around on her own was boring, and there wasn’t much to do now that she’d set the general course. She didn’t know exactly where they were headed, but she could at least steer them towards the greater section of the Grand Line, where there would be much to explore.
