The intelligent and stealthy girl looked at her childhood friend. She smiled as she looked up at him, then tilted her head as she heard voices as well. She squeaked when he held out an arm, and tilted her head. "Is...there a bounty on you guys?" she asked, honestly not believing it. "Let's go to the back, peek in and see if my parents are there. If they are, we have to figure out how to get them away from there."

The boy hummed as he watched the straw hat boy, then tilted his head. He looked to the two marines, and sighed as he slumped a bit. He nodded to Coby, and said "That better be all you're doing..." He then looked over as his parents walked out to see what was going on.

The friendly but shy male hummed, brushing through his dark hair again. He hummed as he looked down at the dog, and smiled at her. He then looked up, smiling as he watched the hug. He nodded to the straw hat wearing boy, and smiled just a bit. He said "Coby isn't going to do that, clearly, so I'm not going to either." He then looked over as the parents appeared, and asked "Are those your parents?" to Linkk.

The sweet but stubborn woman hummed as she walked with Kass. She adjusted her glasses, then glanced to the navigator a moment. She chuckled or let out a breath every once in awhile, when she was bumped. In fact, she sometimes bumped against her right back.

"Since you’re brand new, you could march in just fine right now, but the less people see our faces, the better." Karter suspected he had a bounty on his head, based on some of the... issues he had caused, even before joining up with the Calm Belt Pirates. He’d attracted a lot of unwanted attention, but he had yet to see his name and face on a wanted poster. He was sure though that it was only a matter of time.

Coby's eyes narrowed at Linkk's words. While perhaps it wasn’t meant to be such, the way it was phrased made it sound like a half hidden threat. His shoulders tensed. Most people would not talk to a Marine Captain in such a way. "I hope for your sake that was a slip of the tongue, and not an implied threat," he warned, raising an eyebrow. "Threatening law enforcers is very rarely considered a good idea."

Luffy slung an arm around Coby's shoulders as the other boy tensed up, eyes narrowed. "Aw c'mon Coby, lighten up, have a bit of fun, eh? He didn’t mean any harm! He’s a nice guy who makes awesome muffins, he can’t mean any harm!" He insisted, which only earned him a halfhearted glare from his friend.

Coby lifted his head to face Linkk's parents as they spoke. "The first thing we said upon coming in was that we were here to visit a friend. As Marines our job is to STOP trouble from happening, not to cause it." He glanced just briefly at Lucian from the corner of his eye. He knew he was probably right, but one thing Garp had taught Coby was to never fade into the background and refuse to stand up for himself. He’d spent too long hiding or running from awkward or tense situations.

"Alright, good." Kass followed her inside. Inside was an awkward place. It meant there were people around. Kass didn’t know about the rest of the crew, but she had sailed before with another crew. Albeit not a large one, she did have a bounty. As such, she pulled up the hold of her cloak. She could at least conceal part of her face.

We thought she was just grabbing us more ingredients or something, but she's not back."

Coby's shoulders were tense, his jaw clenched. It took all he had not to have retorted to Linkk. He knew the boy probably didn’t mean any harm. It didn’t make sense that he did. Even so, such blatant challenge and disrespect towards the very people that protected them and kept the peace! He glanced over at Lucian briefly. "Undoubtedly. Pirates are an unpredictable lot. Kidnapping people?" The captain crossed his arms. "Been there, done that. If not kidnapped, captured. They’re more than willing to hold someone if they get the opportunity. I was held on a ship for two years against my will."

Coby faced the woman who had spoken. His gaze softened and his arms fell to his sides. "I see why Lucian asked... if you're concerned that your daughter has been captured by a crew, feel free to give us a name and description, and we'll launch a search party if she’s not returned by nightfall."

Kass didn’t do a whole lot while they were in the drugstore aside from walk beside Quin and keep her head down. What else could she do, out in public? Sometimes I get so excited over doing SOMETHING that I ignore the obvious... I shouldn’t be out on the town. Not while I have a bounty on my head. She silently scolded herself.

"Anything I can do to help?" Kass asked. There wasn’t much to carry from the looks of it, but she figured it wouldn’t help to at least put the offer out there, right?
