"I mean...I can try to calculate results and possible outcomes for our situation, but unless the crew decides to pull somethin' crazy, chances are we're gonna have to make a break for it, camp put somewhere, find or build our own little boat able to be manned by just the three of us, and try to rendezvous with them on our own. I don’t think they’d willingly abandon us, but who knows, in situations like this?" It was always a risk they ran, and Karter had known that when he’d throw his hands in the air and offered surrender in the first place.

Micah wouldn’t have called herself WISE, but it was still nice to hear and brought a smile to her face. "Bird perch, eh? Never heard that one before." However, the girl flipped her hair over her shoulder and started towards the rope netting that led up to the crow's nest. "I practically live there, unless I’m stealing stuff from Karter, but that’s no fun right now. I’ll never complain about going up to my little hideout," she joked.

The Transponder reflected the man's smile, a rare sight to see, with Drake's usually deep-set scowl. That could only mean good things, right? Coby cleared his throat. "Well...I...yeah. Y-You too. I always worry when you’re off somewhere, and I know...I know I don’t need to, but I can’t help it." He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, offering a sheepish smile. "There’s still some hours until then. If you can meet up sooner, we can find a place in town, away from the majority of the crowds and away from our branch. If you’d rather wait until we can slip away by night, we can arrange for that to happen." Was he a bit impatient? Perhaps. But that was just the Coby way of things.

Devin drew her elbows off the table and folded her hands in her lap instead. "So the moral that this story features is basically, stay on Commander Kirsten's good side and don’t screw up if it can be helped." Her assessment was paired with the hint of a vaguely amused smile. She knew it was nothing to joke about, but it was so easy to be lighthearted with those around her willing to be open and casual.

"I can imagine," Kitchi agreed. He slipped outside and raised a hand to shield his eyes from the harsh light of the summer sun, feeling as if it had decided to shine even brighter and hotter that day just to mess with them, making him glad they wouldn’t have to exert too much energy with hot and sweaty training. He led the way down the pathway towards the garden, noting the pair of recruits already standing there, talking earnestly. "Looks like we're not the first ones here. Seaman Recruits had the same idea as us."

Sandra broke salute and slid the stack of papers onto the desk. "The intended targets, Portgas D. Ace and Kassandra DeMarks were not captured. Captain Coby was attacked by and severely injured by Ace and is in recovery. However, Petty Officer Lucian and Seaman Recruit Linkk were able to bring in three unbountied pirates, documented as Karter, Adrian, and Navii, all rookies of the Calm Belt crew. Lieutenant Anya sustained injuries in battle with DeMarks that have since been treated, and Lieutenant Commander Helmeppo was injured in the line of duty. Both are making a steady recovery. Two more rookies were engaged, but not captured. It appears the crew have taken one, possibly two children around age four or five with them, one under claims that the crew's doctor is her mother. No casualties on either side have been reported," she declared.

"Oh the training is tricky. We're supposed to take down a government, but we can’t compare to the numbers of all their involved organizations, which means we just have to be more in terms of strength. I don’t mind though. I wasn’t exactly built for sitting around doing nothing when the world needs help to end chaos." Sabo shrugged. He fixed his gaze on Nyx. "I personally have no intentions of harming you or your crew in the least, but I can’t speak for the rest of the Revolutionaries. There’s certainly no discrimination. Marines, Celestial Dragons, pirates, anyone in between. If someone causes harm to us or impedes our success and goals, the army isn’t afraid to launch an attack. I doubt you’d have the intentions of getting in the way, but it wouldn’t be fair not to warn you."

The sweet and gentle but sometimes shy and nervous male adjusted his glasses. He was reading something at the moment. He tugged on one of the fingerless gloves, then touched his diamond choker. The green eyed male then shook his head. The thing he was reading was a letter from his mom. His parents and sister, Maddie, were sailing somewhere. They'd sent him a letter, and some of it was in French Canadian and some in Irish Gaelic. Oh, right, he's wearing blue today. Anyhow, the handsome but pretty male put down the letter. He brushed through shoulder length reddish brown hair, then went to open the toy shop. He loved toys, as well as swimming. It had only seemed natural to become a toy maker/seller.

Nico heard approaching footsteps, and his gaze fell on two of their higher-ups approaching. Nobody he had been given the chance to meet yet, but neither seemed to be paying them much attention. Helmeppo cleared his throat, pulling Anya against his side. "If you wanted to, we could head into the town and check out some of the places there, then head in and see if we can find somewhere to get lunch?" He suggested. He’d told her about his old actions and history and she hadn’t judged him.

Nyx felt something within her heart shift, as though she felt bad that Sabo, like the rest of them, didn’t get a good chance to grow up and live his life. Instead, he was trained to be a weapon. Did he even want that? Did anyone want that? She sighed heavily, her eyes focussing on her old friend. “Well, you’ve arrived a little too late then” she chuckled nervously, shifting her neck to show her wound. “Some of our crew is missing. We were actually about to go search for them”.

The blond's gaze fell to the wound and his brow knit. Sabo reached out as if he were going to touch the wound on instinct, but stopped himself. It didn’t look TOO fresh, but he didn’t want to re-open it. "Who...Who did this to you?" His gaze darkened even further and he tightened his grip on his staff.
