Karter looked up as Navii returned. They had likewise been offered the opportunity to shower, but with his mind being on red alert, Karter was unlikely to be willing to leave the cell unless he HAD to. While it was a garbage situation, at least here there was a SEMBLANCE of safety and security. "I can definitely help build if it comes to us needin' to camp out somewhere before returnin' to our crew, and Navii knows how to cook, and I KINDA do? But only simple stuff," he admitted. He didn’t like admitting he didn’t know how to do things. He’d built himself up for in the moment survival though, rather than long-term or wilderness survival. Everyone had their own strengths and weaknesses.

The rosette ran his fingers through his hair, pushing it out of his face, tucking an escaped strand under the folds of his bandana again. "How...How close are you, sir?" He hated cutting off the time to just relax, but HONESGLH. Only a few days off duty and he was already desperate to find something to do, and besides, if Drake was in town...well, Coby didn’t want to worry him about the injuries, and he knew that the burns still looked pretty bad, but it had been MONTHS since he’d seen Drake in person.

Adrian saw Navii and said, “Good at least we have someone who can cook because we need someone to cook meat if we catch anything which if we follow how to catch live game, we should be able to survive. As long as we have a water source or something to puncture the correct tree with as well as food, we should be ok if it comes to camping out.”

Luka said, “Your ok to ask. We had a younger sibling like I told you about. Though I never told you about his name because I’ve forgotten, but one day we were taking a walk with him when he was around 1 year old. He grabbed a leaf and tried to stick it in his mouth, you know... baby stuff and she yelled at him. At the time I had no idea why she would do that, but it came all clear to me later in life when I joined the Calm Belts. I ran to protect him and I told her it wasn’t right to yell at a baby and then she said I wasn’t the parent of him. We got into a fight like a fist fight and she punched me in the jaw. It dislodged and it still isn’t fully healed form the experience three years later, but she damaged me both physically and mentally. She walked away, not even saying anything to me and left me there beaten to go join the Marines she said. That tore my heart and that’s why I can never forget about what happened. Because of that fight and how she gave me an injury I still suffer with, I can’t ever forgive her. Sounds stupid right, but you had to be in my position at the time to understand.”

Doubt crossed Karter's face, eyebrows creasing. "Are we...Are we expecting to have to camp out?" The brown haired boy's gaze softened, but with sadness and worry more than anything else. "Do you guys think... that the crew sailed without us and left us behind, or do you think... they’re coming to find us?" He liked to think they hadn’t been surrendered, but coming for them would be crazy.

The more he thought about it, the more it seemed like an impossible situation. Escaping, easy enough if they could just time things right, but escaping AND rejoining their crew when there could very well be the entirety of the Grand Line to search? That was a longshot. Karter slowly breathed out. "They’d be crazy to try and just walk in here, a single crew of rookie pirates, walkin' straight into Marine headquarters for the sake of three crewmates..." would he have done the same, he asked himself? No. Not for most people.

The green eyed male then shook his head. The thing he was reading was a letter from his mom. His parents and sister, Maddie, were sailing somewhere. They'd sent him a letter, and some of it was in French Canadian and some in Irish Gaelic. Oh, right, he's wearing blue today. Anyhow, the handsome but pretty male put down the letter. He brushed through shoulder length reddish brown hair, then went to open the toy shop. He loved toys, as well as swimming. It had only seemed natural to become a toy maker/seller.
