Then if they return, you don't have to continue being my friend, but I want to make sure your ok and have support.” He looked to the cat and said picking her up, “Navii isn’t here yet, but we’ll get her back Sasha.”

Kory nodded and said, “Same with us. We haven’t really been talking to others and we’ve stuck to the shadows. I’m honestly surprised Kade and I made it here.”

He wasn’t used to having to hold back any kind of information. Amongst the Mythic Pirates, at least they trusted each other enough that there was no need to keep secrets. "That’s why I decided I wasn't gonna let other people get in my head about things. We’d all be better off if we really only had to think about our own opinions of ourselves."

"Oh yeah, definitely. And again, I could see that. Just...maybe not immediately. We've still got a lot to do for ourselves before we have the space or money and all to take in a kid. Even if I look forward to the day." Coby had never bothered to try and see a family in the picture for him. It had seemed too unlikely with his hyperfocus on his career compared to interpersonal relationships when he had first arrived, and even when he’d cooled down enough to start forming connections here and there, he’d never looked at it beyond work. Work was what kept him going. So the idea that soon, he’d be MARRIED, maybe have a couple kids...it was a foreign if not welcome idea, one that made him smile. Coby leaned back against the back of the couch and pulled Lucian closer.

The boy hummed and nodded to the other male, then smiled a little bit. "I agree, they shouldn't be allowed to tell others how to act or speak or dress even." He shook his head a couple times, then tilted it. He then said "That's...a good mindset to have."

The gray eyed black haired male hummed a bit, then nodded. He said "I love the boy, but he's really too close in age to us. I mean, if he wasn't, he wouldn't even be here." He shook his head, then smiled a bit at the thought of kids. He let his mind wander, seeing two kids. A boy and a girl, they were, running around the yard of a townhouse. There were other kids there, not his. Seeing as it was a townhouse, there'd probably be another family living there, so he was imagining their kids too.

Karter sighed quietly, an undertone of irritation in his tone. He couldn’t deny his frustration. He had literally answered that same question two minutes ago, and maybe it was his nature, or maybe it was the fact they were stuck in a small space that was beginning to unnerve him. "Yes, a shower. That’s what I literally just said." He reached up and tugged on his hair. He flicked his gaze just briefly towards Adrian. "It’s...It's actin' up a little, but I don’t think it’s swellin' or anythin'. In all honesty, I’ve been a little too afraid to actually check though."

"I know we sent people out every which way before. Do you know if anyone actually ever got back with the food we’d tried to pick up, or was that the job of one of...one of those three?" She asked. She hadn’t seen many supplies being brought in personally, but she’d been pretty distracted too. Not in the most observant headspace back then.

It felt so far away, yet so overwhelmingly close. Coby was eighteen. Yes, he was legally an adult. Yes, he could make his own decisions. Said female guard stopped and turned to Adrian and Karter a moment. "Do either of you want to shower?" the guard asked them.

"I don't blame him for not having visited me. I wasn't up to much then and I'm surprised I even have the energy to do anything now" Nyx spoke, her voice a softer mumble as she stared at the wall above her hospital bed. "I'll eat something just so that I have enough energy for the day" Nyx agreed with Ace, slowly inching herself into a sitting position. She reached over to her plate and took a piece of bread into her hand. She smeared some butter on it and added some cheese with a bit of egg. She ate in silence, taking small bites as to avoid pain to her neck injury as much as possible. "I still feel sore in ever single muscle, but I'll say that my ego is slowly coming back up. I doubt I'll fully recover from that battle any time soon" Nyx answered, truth to her words.
