At that, Nyx snapped her wrists up towards the sky, her palms facing up. Water from the nearby ocean began to pace more frequently and Nyxalia soon swished it towards Coby, aiming to at least blind him while she had the chance to get away to find Ace. She would have to wait to see if her attacked worked. She darted closer, aiming her fist to the side of his face. "If I am being completely honest, I thought you would be the type to make the first move" Nyx sneered.

The intelligent and stealthy girl shook her head quickly back and forth. "I'm not going to let them hurt you!" she cried. She continued to run towards them, but froze when she actually saw her brother. "L-Linkk?" she questioned, and tilted her head.

Meanwhile, the cat meowed at Adrian, wanting him to go with her back to the ship.

The sweet but stubborn woman let the child down for a moment. She watched Gabe pull the girl close to hug her. She said "hello Gabe, I'm Kiia's mom." She didn't really answer Helmeppo, looking over to where Kass was and saying "Looks like that woman with my...girlfriend needs help."

He ran up to them and hissed through his gritted teeth, “Go, save yourselves.” Noticing the blood trickling down to the floor, Adrian stopped and said, “Karter, your hurt. Go back to the ship with Navii. You two both care about each other and have someone to look out for. I have nothing and so the most logical answer is for me to sacrifice myself to them so you two can go back to the ship and get help for Karter and get help from our fellow Calm Belts.” He looked both of them in the eye and said, “Trust me on this please.”

In the blink of an eye, the rosette vanished, appearing silently behind Nyx and trying to keep quiet as he ran at her again, aiming to slam an elbow against her back as he got closer.

His pale gaze whipped towards the Marines again. "Don’t you dare!" He snapped. His heart pounded. He wasn’t stupid. He knew capture almost always meant execution unless someone by some miracle got really lucky, but...he couldn’t bring himself to care about that for himself. Not this time. "Don’t you dare hurt her! Hurt me, put me in chains, even kill me, but you will not hurt Navii."

Just the orders of the World Government." Helmeppo's patience was quickly wearing thin. He’d personally like to get this over with and regroup. He stepped closer, eyes locked on Quin behind the black visor. "I understand loyalty and respect for a partner. My own partner is the one fighting your girlfriend. I can’t help but worry, but it’d do you well...to focus on your own battle!" With those words, he slashed towards the young woman again, this time in both frustration and desperation to end this quickly, he did not hold back.

Kass gasped sharply when the bullet sank into her arm, but it had not caught a vital point, nor had it caught a joint, which would finish her speed or attacks. If she lost accessibility to using her claws, then she was done for, and a bountied pirate never lasted long while being held in custody. She wouldn’t like to risk that. She tried her best to ignore the white hot burning sensation and forced a pained smirk. "You’re a good shot. A steady hand even while under attack. Admirable," she decided, but nevertheless, she counterattacked again, swiping at Anya's side.

Some pirates are stupid enough to give us their names, so that should help, and even if not, we have their descriptions, so finding Martinez shouldn’t be much of a problem," he decided, a grin slowly spreading across his face.

This time, instead of aiming to directly hit the dark haired woman again, she aimed to try and knock the gun out of her hand. If I can disarm her, she has the choice to either run, or try to fight with her own body and eventually die. I don’t have a bounty for nothing. I may have tried to flatter and trick her out of it, but I’m not afraid to make a kill if someone decides to make an attempt on me. Though... She tilted her head to the side. "You really ARE quite strong and confident. It makes you all the more beautiful. Hmmm...when I win, I might even let you go. It’d be a shame to scar that pretty face."

Dizzy and exhausted, not to mention in pain, Karter was thankful for the support and allowed himself to drape an arm over Adrian's shoulder to keep himself from falling face-first. "Th-Thanks man," he managed. He fought to keep his eyes open, finding himself drifting in and out of consciousness and...unsure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. At the very least I know I won’t get shot again.
