The intelligent and stealthy girl made a small sound and nodded to Adrian. She didn't really know what to say, so she just nodded. She made a different type of sound when Karter spoke. She glanced to Adrian when he spoke, and nodded to him.

The sweet but stubborn woman shook her head and snorted. "Doesn't sound like you favor either then," she said. She continued to move sideways but wasn't running, yet. She'd take off if she needed to, though, because she obviously didn't want to be taken in. Then again, she didn't have a bounty. Then again, no one would probably try to keep her out of the prison...

Adrian gave him a small smile and said with the same small smile plastered on his face to Navii, “Ok, it looks like there distracted for now talking. Now is our chance to bolt. We can run to the ship, grab extra help and get back here to help Karter and drive them out.” It was easier said than done and Adrian was having a hard time picturing how this would work out.

Tell me, have you ever wondered before trying to making a capture, WHY a pirate has a bounty? Some have done truly terrible things, it’s true, but not all."

Kitchi smirked. "Then don't ya think it’d be beneficial to go where the action was last seen?" He asked. It was awkward when they were all the same rank, nobody in specific higher than the other to give a definitive order, it was just left up to them as a whole. "Captain Coby coulda organized us a bit better so at least ONE of us was higher ranked than the others." Things may be all sunshine and rainbows for him, everything might work how he wants it to, he might get what he wants with that smile, but not all of us have his kind of charisma or luck. They use this 'order' to keep you in line, but do they ever enforce it? I’ve heard of and seen Marines run free to do as they wish." The young woman held out her arm and rolled up her sleeve. "I’ve no desire to mar this skin with scars and cuts, and I’m sure you could say the same old yourself. I haven't a wish to cause you harm, Lieutenant. Think before you act. That’s one thing I always learned. Think, and before you make any decision, ask yourself, does it confine you and tie you down, or does it lead you to freedom? To make choices for yourself, to have peace of mind and individuality?"

"I’m not here to hurt ANYONE!" Karter shouted back. Then he cursed under his breath. "Gogogogo!" He shouted, shoving Navii and Adrian away. "NOW!" He raced forward, sheathing his knife in his belt again and resorting to using his own body as a method of defence. He said not to HURT the boy. I won't hurt him unless he hurts me or I’m desperate, but that doesn’t mean I’m not afraid to play dirty, and I won’t NOT defend myself. "Get AWAY! GET OUT!" His eyes blazed. He was short, but he was fast and intended to put it to use.

The boy told the heterochromatic eyed dog to stay back. He heard Yuli whine, but tried to ignore it in favor of continuing towards Karter. He didn't want to fight him, really didn't, but had no choice. He still had his knife he'd been given by his parents, and he pulled it out now.

They'd send me away from the man and the people I love, for insubordination." She finally pulled out the gun, but still didn't use it. Kass hadn't actually attacked her yet.

Helmeppo took advantage of the opportunity to lunge while the woman was distracted by the young girl's calling out, and he slashed towards Quin with the backside of his knives, rather than the sharper part of the blade. The goal was the make a capture, not to cut her apart, and Helmeppo knew full well that he was fully capable of that kind of damage if he was trying, so caution was of the essence!

There are much more risky crews out there than the one I've been sailing with at current."

The gray eyed black haired male noticed when the boy was sufficiently distracted. He then pulled up the gun, and aimed. He aimed at his knee/leg, and pulled the trigger. There shouldn't be any vital points there that would kill him if hit, not where Lucian was aiming.

Also, we don't know where the others are, only you. We were assigned here, by the higher ups. Even higher up then Coby, in fact, so there's that; now," she said, and aimed the gun. She wasn't sure she wanted to shoot her though. Therefore, she still just held it and aimed it.

Nyx's beautiful eyes turned cold as her head snapped sharply towards the one she called Linkk. "Don't you DARE move" she seethed, forcing the words out through gritted teeth. What she hadn't realised that throughout the duration of their conversation, her hands had tilted towards the water, hearing it lap frantically close by as absently called it to be ready to her advantage. "What kind of idiot assumes that a pirate will go down without a fight?" she snickered bitterly, glaring daggers at the Marine. "The hard way? Shouldn't take me more than a minute" she added, nerves pricking at her brain when she felt the stiffness in her rib as a sore reminder.
