Buck nods, attesting to what Karter said. "I have no idea where he went, I can take over for him until he shows up. I was a doctor before a cook after all." He glances around the table at his crewmates and their guest, making sure that they all seem to be enjoying the meal. Noting their happy faces he makes a mental note to make pancakes again some time. He hums, thinking back to the ship's Doctor. "You think he's ever coming back?"

The intelligent and stealthy girl looked to her friend, and nodded to him. "Doctors are very important people," she said, then shook her head. She sighed as she heard he hadn't seen the guy in a bit. ..She then looked at Buck and nodded, smiling as she said "It's cool that you have medical knowledge."

The boy hummed as he stood beside his father, whom was making some cupcakes. He was waiting for his turn with them. What is meant by that is that he gets to decorate them and such. He huffed as he heard the shop door open and shut, thinking she must have left.

The friendly but shy male hummed, brushing through his dark hair again. He smiled as he walked with the other man, and the pretty tan and blue dog. He hummed and looked around as they walked. He smiled as he held the leash and continued to walk, looking around still as he did.

The sweet but stubborn female smiled as she sat at the table and hummed. She began to eat the pancakes and stuff, then looked to Buck. "I'm sure he'll show up at some point, " she assured the cook. She then shook her head and looked to the others a moment.

Nyx frowned at Ace, shaking her head slightly. "It was not your fault, I got myself into this mess and you got me out of it" she pointed out, returning to her bowl of soup as she spoke. "Well, there was this memory I had of us playfighting which reminded me a lot of what had happened today" she explained, placing her empty soup bowl on the dresser.

Buck casually leans on the island counter, watching everyone eat. "I hope so Leila.." Upon hearing Navii's praise, Buck gets flustered again. "Ah it's nothing really!" he rubs the back of his neck self conscious of his awkward mannerisms, as if that makes it any better, and a blush rises to adorn his face, "But thank you.."

The boy's blue flecked hazel eyes narrowed. "I’m sure I saw Chrollo this mornin', so he’s probably just about somewhere, preparin's supplies or what have you." Karter shrugged. He wasn’t too worried about it save for the fact there had been an emergency the crew's official doctor had not been able to tend to.

"So..." Coby's voice trailed off as they came upon the town. "Hope you know where we're headed, because I'm lost here. I’ve never had to deal with pets of any kind, or service animals, or...animals in general. Unless that term applies to messy pirates with no table manners," he joked.

Ace decided to just leave it there after that. He had pushed her, even if unintentionally, but clearly she wasn’t going to accept him taking that blame. He smiled faintly as she mentioned her past memories. "Playfighting, huh? Yeah...I loved to roughhouse." He raised his gaze to meet hers. "Did you win?" Oh he doubted it, since he’d always been stronger than most kids his age, but trickery could outdo brute strength.

"Enough about analyzin' what we don’t know though, eh?" Karter asked, looking between the other three. "No need to worry just yet, we can always check around later if we need to. Let’s all just sit down and enjoy breakfast, 'cause food THIS good should be enjoyed properly!"

Coby grinned, glad to have been able to draw laughter from his companion. Then he nodded. "Sure! Always curious to see how service animals work." He hadn’t seen a lot of service animals, but supposedly they had better and specialized training compared to other domesticated animals.

Buck grunts softly in agreement. Surely their doctor hasn't abandoned them, there was no need to worry. "Thanks, guys" Easily flustered by Karter's praise, Buck quietly fills his own plate and sits down to eat with the others. He assumes the Captain has already had their share of breakfast as he caught them wandering about, but couldn't be too sure. Buck isn't worried though, he made plenty more than his crew could eat in one meal, planning to turn any leftover pancakes into cake pops for dessert tonight.
