Mel stretched on the rafter she was on and yawned, showing her impressive white fangs. She sniffed the air. Yes, definitely macaroni and cheese. She leapt down and made her way through the building, following her nose. She changed back into human form outside the room where the others were and walked in, helping herself to the food.

Meanwhile, Angel finished talking to the crowd of teenagers and followed Cannonball to Xavier's old office, which now belonged to Rachel. Cannonball knocked to see if she was in.

Rachel heard a knock, and perked up a bit. It was late and she was somewhat on the tired side.
"Um come in"she replied. Rachel was so fusterated with everything, so her voice sounded somewhat annyoyed.

"Well good early morning Mel"said Andrew,he didn't think it was too weird to be eating mac and cheese for breakfast. But on the other hand,some of the BrotherHood members might think so. Andrew had some food on his plate,but he wasn't really eating it yet.

Cannonball entered first, followed by Angel who had his wings tucked close to his back. They both looked a bit cautious at Rachel's tone of voice but they understood it was stress.

"Hello again Rachel." Cannonball said, smiling warmly. "What have we missed?"


"Mornin'." Mel said, her mouth stuffed full of macaroni and cheese in a rather unladylike manner. She didn't really care why they were having this for breakfast. She supposed it was because they had nothing else in the fridge/cupboards. She would've preferred something meaty but this would do.

Rachel saw how they looked at her,but she was happy to see them again. She gave them a small smile.
"Its nice to see you both,Sam and Warren"said Rachel as she got up off the chair at the desk. "Now as for what you both missed,I don't know where to start." she said sighing "Well the BrotherHood decided to pay the school a little visit earlier and they thought it would be fun to have Nightcrawler attack us as well. Oh and a Neutral mutant decided to join the fight and well that mutant was attacking everyone."

"Morning to you too Mel"said Andrew as he started to eat some of the mac and cheese and his plate. He kind of figured she didn't care what they were eating as long as it was food.

"We missed a fight? I knew it was a bad time to take a holiday!" Warren joked.

"Sounds like hell. How many were hurt? How did they manage to get Kurt to attack us? Does one of the Brotherhood have mind control?" Sam asked.


Mel just waved at Andrew as her mouth was too full to speak at the moment. She decided to go look for some bread once she'd finished eating this.

"Yeah it was bad time,we could have used the help" said Rachel with a laugh "But anyways,it was hell. Almost everyone got hurt more worse then others. As for Kurt it is believed that they got him with one of Stryker's shots,so the Brotherhood might not have someone with mind control." She sighed, and looked away "But again,the Brotherhood really wasn't using Kurt for their benfit in the fight. They just wanted him dead,nothing more."

Andrew gave an unsure little wave at Mel and looked down at his plate.He ate some of the mac and cheese on his plate.

"Nice of you to join us, Mel." Kennedy said. She was reeeaaaly tempted to call her Felix, but was too tired to fight.

Andrew was amazed that Kennedy didn't call Mel Felix but didn't say anything. A few seconds later their comuntication room made the sound of an incoming call.It was sort of loud and it spooked Andrew. He fell right off the chair and onto the ground.
"I'm okay"said Andrew rubbing the back of his head,which he hit on the floor.
