Shane sighed. "I'm sorry. I don't really know you. You're with the X-men, I'm tight with the Brotherhood. We have boundaries," but it was no use. He'd just make her feel worse, probably. "Hey," he said in a softer tone, "look I'm sorry...anything I could do to make it up? What do did you expect? I'm a guy."

Shane, before he knew it and without warning, had shifted back. He felt a tight feeling on his wrist and fell. He looked up at noticed he was uncomfortable close to Miricia. "What...what do you mean by that?" he forced a crooked smile. "I said sorry a bunch of times." He held his gut with his other hand and groaned, closing his eyes tightly.
