It's a cold, dark night and the only light comes from a few flickering lampposts. You stand there, shivering as a breeze passes you, leaving goosebumps on your skin. He promised to meet you here, whether because he loved you or said he would save you from your misery, but that strange boy is nowhere to be seen. Another breeze, this one making you jump as the boy appears next to you, emerging from the shadows.
"Wh-what took you so long?" you stutter, rubbing your bare arms to rid them of the goosebumps appearing once more.
"I'm sorry," the boy replies, his strange red eye observing you with calm. He was half-naked, no shirt just a pair of black pants, a black wristband on his right wrist and a black collar around his neck, his body covered in strange red tattoos, "but I had to make sure it was safe . . ."
"Safe?" you frown. Why wouldn't it be safe? You turn your gaze to the boy, with his straight black hair and that strange mask covering half of his face. It was hard to tell what he was thinking . . . "Maybe I should leave . . ." Only now you realise how strange it was that a seventeen year old boy would be allowed out so late, that he would be able to wear barely anything while you were covered in scarves and a coat, how peculiar his eye really was, the fact a teenager needed to wear a mask in the first place and how eerily creepy it was that he never blinked . . . You take a step back but too late as the boy grins, baring his fangs as he lunges at you, a scream not even able to leave your throat before he sinks in his teeth and your body goes limp . . .
Things You May Want to Know . . .
In this world, there are the dark vampires and the light vampires. Dark vampires could be called 'emo' and 'goth' in their appearance, all having black hair and relatively dark eyes. These vampires feed off of humans, sometimes turning them into a vampire, other times draining them dry.
Light vampires, on the other hand, are all blonde haired with light eyes - like blue and green. They prefer to feed off of animals rather than humans and only feed off of a human if said human is willing to be 'changed.'
Similarities between the two: All have pale skin, fangs and wings - dark vampires wings are bat like whereas light vampires are bird like. There is also the thirst for blood that neither can resist.
The dark vampires and the light vampires have been at war for thousands of years now and, no, these vampires do NOT live forever. They age just as you and I do, yet always look younger and stronger than they really are. Most vampires, light and dark, live to be about 150 before they pass away. Some don't even live that long, dying in battles between each other.
Vampires are able to walk around in the daylight although the dark vampires prefer, well, the dark.
Each vampire has a special ability/weapon - and no, a dark vampire cannot control light and a light vampire cant control shadows - thats slightly redundant . . .
Rules
- This is semi-lit so you will have to be a good writer, able to post about a paragraph per post, per character.
- Only 3 characters per person - If there are too many dark vampires being made, or light vampires for that matter, I will close entries for dark/light vampires until it evens out. Can't have a war if the numbers aren't equal, now can we?
- Yes, you CAN have a human character but they are uncommon . . . don't want this turning into a Twilight rp with Bella in it, now do we?
- If I'm not online, ~Reason~Time~ is in charge, got that? Good.
- In 'other' on the form, I would very much like you to mention something about 'Withering Tights' or 'Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging.' Why? Because I feel like it! Oh and you won't be accepted if you don't XD
