"Thanks. Akari, for a quirk like mine it'd actually give him the advantage though. He could keep me from coming close enough to touch him and activate my quirk."he said hoping she wouldn't give away the fact he can't actually activate his quirk by just a touch. He gave her a look as to kinda hope she'd get that hint. " Yeah, Aizawa can erase quirks for as long as he can hold eye contact though it really strains his eyes. He's very good even if his quirk is disabled though, he has pretty good fighting skills so he's pretty versatile and..." he trailed off, he was doing it again. He laughed very awkwardly by his own rambling.

Sakura Location: In front of UA Tags: Haru

Haru's glow snapped her out of her little trance. He really enjoyed her company it seemed, even if she did kinda run him over. She blushed then grabbed his hands firmly and turned him to look at her with much effort. "We got this!" she said reinsuring him but mostly reinsuring herself. She slowly let go of his hands and used one to push some hair behind her ear.

"hmm..you make a good point there. Even still, against someone else wouldn't he be at a bit of a disadvantage? He wouldn't cause as much damage and being a distant fighter usually means you aren't good at combat. So if that were to happen, you cant always run away to be able to accomplish your fighting style. Don't you agree?" She kept asking questions and saying things hoping to get under slate's skin. She wont use her quirk unless necessary, as in she's in combat, so she learned how to get under peoples skin without using her quirk to torment them about their past. She smirked a bit, and leaned in closer to slate. "Tell me slate, how exactly would you plan on fighting and surviving if you aren't good at combat? How would you adjust to the situation to make a fighting chance for yourself? How are there no burns on your body. Tell me all about yourself!" Her smile widened, her eyes seemed to glow, she giggled slightly out of excitement. She found it a little enjoyable to get under somebodies skin.

Dabi / 20s/ U.A./ Akari & Shimo
Dabi let out little reaction, "You two sure like to ask a lot of questions." he stated calmly. "I can figure things out if in close combat. I'm sure once I become a pro hero I'll have some one to pick up where I slack. About the burns, my body is able to shoot fire so of course I'm heat resistant."he said with a cool demeanor. "If push comes to shove, as a pro hero in trainig, to protect myself I'll have to up the power of my quirk and learn ways around close combat. I'm sure I can learn that in a semester or two. Maybe sooner if I try hard enough." Dabi didn't like all the questions, it was hard to have a normal conversation, biting back his tongue even as Akari kept prying. She seemed way too interested in knowing about him a bit too soon. He worried slighlty that she could know who he was. It was difficult to hide his staples, underneath the layer of makeup that covered him. One slight over reaction or too big of an expression could be a mistake."Id love to see your quirk in action sometime Shimo."

"Maybe you'll get to soon." he said to Slate with a hint of challenge in his voice. Normally he wasn't this confident with his words unless he was rambling on about quirks. He didn't understand why this guy brought this side out of him. Putting aside his confusion Shimo could feel a bit of tension building up. "So tell me, what are you wanting to improve on while at this school?" he asked out of sheer curiosity, to both students. Shimo titled his head back enough to look at Slate giving him a smirk. Trying to lighten a mood wasn't his forte but, since the tension was making him a bit uneasy he decided to try it out.

She didn't like the answer she got so she seemed a bit mad. Then that word "resistant".

"technically if you were heat resitant, that means you can only with stand the heat for a certain amount of time. Meaning if you held your quirk longer than what your body is used to, it would begin to burn wouldn't it?" She paused at that to answer shimo's question. She wondered if she should tell him why she's really here or if she should lie. She decided to tell the truth, but not the whole truth. Her kind smile returned as she looked at shimo "i came to u.a. to become stronger with my quirk, and of course become a pro hero. I wanna be the first person to destroy every single member of the league of villains." she peeked over at slate to see his reaction to her answer, it wasn't very noticeable that she had done this. She had the feeling he wasnt a very good person but kept it to herself for the time being.

"I'm trying to improve my fire quirk so that I can also fight close range instead of just distance."Dabi said calmly. He looked towards Akari next, "Heat resistance means I can stand the flames for a longer time than the average person. Though I can't stand flames forever."Akari had mentioned the League of Villians, She wanted to destroy them all? One person, Allmight may have been able to, but he wasn't sure about Akari as he hadn't seen her quirk in action yet. Though he couldn't help but smile at the idea of his comrads disappearing one by one. He then quickly covered up the smile by changing the subject. "So, class should be starting soon? Wonder how day one will be."

She watched him give a quick smile to her answer. What a strange reaction..it could be good or bad. She returned her gaze to slate, it was a bit of a cold glare as she hadn't really got what she wanted. " ah yes. class should be starting soon, shall we head to class...slate" venom laced in her voice. She had some respect for him for being so calm about her and the way she pried at him, and he was sorta cute to her. She turned around and started to head to class whether they followed or not.

Dabi felt Akari's eyes on him, he heard a slight tone in her voice as she spoke to him. He decided just to ignore it for now, maybe she was having a bad day or not in the mood to be too friendly he thought to himself. "Yeah, don't want to be late on the first day."Dabi responded putting on a cheerful tone. "Can't wait to get this class started... and meet the other students. Should be fun." The word fun had a slight change of tone, almost unoticable. Dabi hated hero courses, a particular reason he'd rather keep hidden from everyone. Wheter he wanted to or not, he couldn't fake being happy about hero courses. His eyes grew a bit dim at the thought. All these kids training to be pro heros, and for what fame? Money perhaps? It went against Stain's wishes of what a true hero is. One who does it not for the money or for the fame but of the action of helping others even when not needing to. Dabi did know one thing by heart, A hero must never kill to win a battle. It was outright wrong. He snapped out of his cloud of thoughts when he realized he was trailing behind the others.

Marlie Location: On the way to UA High/Door of UA High

Marlie couldn't believe what had happened to her. As it was the first day of class she set the alarm to wake up early in order to don´t be late to the first day of class. But she fell asleep and now she was running down the street wishing she hadn't stayed up late watching videos on youtube and regretting not having gone to sleep earlier.

When she got to UA High, she was amazed at how many people there were. She was ready to make a lot of friends but she froze when she saw the imposing door off the school. Taking an odd hesitant step she took some courage and began to cross the door that would lead her to fulfill her dreams of becoming a hero.

Shimo noticed the change of tone in Slate's voice when he talked about the hero class. He must not be looking forward to it, which was odd for someone who was enrolled in the hero course. Unlike Slate Shimo was very excited for the hero class, it made him one step closer to being able to help people. Maybe it'd be by himself or with a respectable agency. Shimo looked back to see Slate was out of earshot and in deep thought. He took this chance to talk to Akari about him. "what do you think about Slate?"he asked her in a hushed tone. He respected her opinion and was wondering if Slate seemed familiar to her too and if she got the same uneasy feeling around him.
