Damian walked along the dingy corridor in silence, his arms hung loosely at his sides but his hands were clenched tightly into fists. He sighed quietly, hearing the pitter-patter of rain outside. He always forgot to stop changing the weather when he changed his mood but now he didn't want to change it. Rain helped him build up his energy and strength. He sped up a little, eager to reach outside. He headed down the stairs two-at-a-time then quickly darted outside and he immediately smiled as the rain hit his skin.

Clarissa was bored, stuck to the confines of her apartment, the gloomy weather and the somehow barely working light that hung above her head made no effort to improve her modd. She wished she could move her leg, she wished demons didn't exist, she wished she was a better person, but she knew if she spent her whole life wishing she'd never acomplish anything, why did she have to be so pessimistic? It's not like the world was ending! Clarissa really did hate herself sometimes, even though she was no longer a demon. She sighed, why did she have to feel so miserable?

With a deep sigh Damian stared up into the sky, the water making him blink a million-times-a-second but he smiled all the same. He already felt replenished and slightly happier. He was still ****** from his earlier conflict with Luke. God, he hated him more than anything else in the World. A low growl broke him out of his happiness and he lowered his head with a low sigh. Apart from Clarissa, everyone on Earth seemed empty to him now.

Clarissa put her chin up, she knew her situation could be worse, she could be abused, miserable and friendless. She was none of those things right now, Clarissa just felt useless. She wondered why she never seemed to be able to help anyone, she wondered why people either seemed to be out to get her or just annoying. Clarrisa sighed again, she tried to smile, but not even thinking about wonderful times could improve her gloomy mind-set. She went and sat down again, tired, bored and somehow sad. Nothing had gone particularly wrong in her life, she just seemed to feel different.

Damian felt his spikey hair flatten to his forehead and the back of his neck was now covered in goosebumps, but he loved to just stand in the rain. He looked up at the sky once again, trying to tear himself away from his emotions which, right now, he was running from.

Clarissa got up again feeling fidgety and bothered. She made herself some water, she took a half-hearted sip them poured it away. Even the new her, the human her, with new hair and all sorts still felt glum.
