History: Luke barely knows his parents, he left a few months ago, fed up with their way of life and decided he'd make his own way in life. He stumbled across this new town and decided it would be a great place to start and to perform the one thing he needed to become his full self.

Clarissa hurried through the vow, she couldn't remeber the last sentence though and was beginning to panic. If she didn't remeber it soon she would be as good as dead.

The shadow seemed to cringe back slightly, his glowing eyes looked as though they were narrowed in annoyance. Damian watched, looking from the shadow to Clarissa.

Clarissa was trying to hard to rember she just let everything flood back to her, she stumbled through a word at a time until she only had two words left. She racked her brains but couldn't get ther. She cursed in her mind.

Damian frowned at Clarissa's pause. The shadow seemed to notice her mental block and moved towards her, seeming to rush swiftly round her in a circle. That's seven Damian thought mentally. C'mon Clarissa.

Clarissa said another word but she was stuck on the last. It was the same as the first but she couldn't rember that right now. She was annoyed with herself but was frantically tryign to remember, she was nearly there, so close yet so far. This was irritating her more than anything.

Damin looked at Clarissa, seeing the annoyance in her eyes. It was frustrating to not know how to help her. If only he'd perhaps learnt more from Demons', he wouldn't feel like a waste of space right now. The shadow tilted its head, looking up at Clarissa before starting to circle her for the eighth time.

Clarissa retraced her words in her head, she was nearly there, she just needed one sylable. That's all it was. Then she remembered it. A triumphant smiled flooding her face and eyes. She grinned, then said the last sound, "Ra" she breathed out slowly, she was chuffed that she could remember it all, she just hoped that was definately right or she was screwed, there would be no way she could it all again before he finsihed the ritual..

As Clarissa said the word, the shadow froze; crouched close to the ground. Damian watched as it moved away before shooting from sight; a black blurr. Damian breathed out lightly and looked at Clarissa. "That was way too close."
