Damian frowned as the shadow shifted to her other side, following beside her. It seemed to be watching her extremely closely. It was a little bit freaky but that was the idea. Damian narrowed his eyes, taking a small step forwards and its head snapped in his direction. These new-borns didn't really have eyes, there just glowing white specks on their faces. And it clearly hadn't developed it senses yet as it seemed merge forwards, watching Damian for a second. It then looked back at Clarissa, keeping its gaze locked her firmly. There was no easy way out of this.

Clarissa would have run but she knew that as a human she could never be faster than this newborn. It would have been hard to keep up even as a demon. Clarissa looked at Damian, she took another step closer to him, she could see the demon watching her, it set of and odd sensation of tingles in her spine. She felt on edge and scared.

Damian glanced at Clarissa then at the shadow, keeping his eyes locked on it as he moved towards Clarissa. He moved extremely smoothly and slowly. This thing may be young, perhaps no more than a month old, it was still just as lethal. Just get closer to Clarissa he thought sharply, taking another small step towards her. The shadow seemed to be picking up the idea as it moved in front of Damian, staring at Clarissa and blocking off Damian from her sights.

Clarissa scowled at the demon. She wished it would just try and fight her already instead of being so darn slow. This made everything tense and scary. That was the idea though, she realised. Clarissa sighed and tapped her foot.

The shadow seemed to straighten up and tilt its head as Clarissa tapped her foot. Damian frowned, what was it doing? It then moved forwards towards Clarissa, standing a mere inch from her. Damian frowned, what was it trying to gain here, was this its first kill or something?

Clarissa raised an eyebrow at the demon. Then said to Damain, "He's doing the ritual," She said, she knew Damain probably had no idea what that meant but she certainly did. The demon had to do this before it's first kill, it would circle her eight times soon and then kill her, then his form would be complete and it would change into a full demon. The threat of this made Clarissa very scared.

Damian frowned. The ritual? He'd never heard of it and was annoyed at that. He watched the shadow tilt its head, seeming to be moving slowly around her, always keeping its eyes fixated on her. Damian was desprete to know what it was doing, but he didn't know what to do.

Clarissa felt she might a swell explain, she knew she would probably die from the ritual unless she pleaded her innocance and recited the vow of the demonita. She said to Damian, "He will circle me eight times then probably kill me," Clarissa said, "Then it'll turn into a full demon. Clarissa said as she frantically tried to remember the demonita vow.

((Randomly making up a demonita vow, thought there bneeded to be some way she could escape, if only she could remember...))

Damian narrowed his eyes slightly. "Is there someway to stop it?" he asked quietly as the shadow continued move around Clarissa, slowly becoming more solid as he watched. This wasn't good.

"Yes but I can't remember the bloomin' thing!" Clarissa said as she began to recite some old words of the demonita. The demon got slightly slower when he heard.
