Draiden frowned. He thought about it, and for a moment before he shrugged innocently. "I truthfully don't know. I'm pretty sure I was at least around nine or ten. I've lost count. I used to tally my days, but" he chuckled drily. "When there are about a million of those on one rock, it gets rather confusing"

Tamani shrugged, ''Then I've been here longer, since I was about three. Me and my mother used to live here all by ourselves. We doubted anyone else was even here. Aparently there are more." He sighed, rubbing a hand through his hair and yawning. "Anyone else you would like to tell me about?"

"Besides the imaginary friends I have spawned over the years, no" Draiden says sarcastically, but there was a bit of ice to his voice. He realized then how venomously he had been speaking and he sighed and rubbed the back of his nexk and looked down to the ground. It had been so long since he had thought of that day, the day he came here. These were the only humans he had seen for over ten years, and he didn't want to lose them by being a jerk.

Tamani knew exactly how Draiden felt. With a sigh, he looked down at Maya, then back at him. "No one else, then it's just the three of us, and the rest of our lives. Perfect." He said sarcastically, and began looking around. He was surprised a group of Dragards hadn't come by and snatched them all up by now.

"No, we are not crystal!" Maya spat, her eyes furious. "If you cut off my foot I'll just behead you in your sleep!" She threatened, her eyes hard on his as she stood, swinging a punch into his face. "I don't care what stupid pointy spear you have. When my family finds me, dead or alive, they can have you shot." Her words were cold as she started walking off towards the direction he was headed, ignoring the other man. "Just because I'm a lady, doesn't mean I can't walk. And, remember, Mr. I am a lady. You don't harm a lady."

Tamani rubbed his jaw where she hit him, and sighed. "Ugh, I liked it better when I was alone." He muttered, and followed her. "Why do you insist on being a pain?" He growled, and in the back of his mind he thought of leaving her as Dragard food and getting on with the remainder of his life. "Where are you going anyway?" He hissed.

Maya frowned, "Maybe because two of my friends are dead. Maybe because my family is half way across the world?" She asked, walking onwards. "I don't know where I'm going. Somewhere where I can make a hut. Hunt rabbits, make a fire to send up smoke signals. No where really else to go. It's not like I can just swim back home or I would, in a heartbeat."

Tamani almost burst out laughing, he put his hand on her shoulder, making her stop. "You are so dumb. I've been on this island since I was three, my mom and I have tried it all. There's no way off this island. This isn't just some jungle in the real world, this is Mystic Island. It's like nothing you've ever encountered, the animals here are not like the ones back where you're from. They are far more dangerous." He said, looking around at the trees. "I'm you're only hope to survive, unless you'd rather rely on the new guy. Though I've been here far longer. I have a house, not a hut. I'm not some village idiot that doesn't know what you're going through. My mom taught me everything I needed to know about the real world, just in case I ran into someone like you." He said, his gaze moving to her face. His bright green eyes were intence as they moved over her face. "I can help you survive on this island, I've been doing it my whole life."

Draiden narrowed his eyes and gripped his bow tightly. He would very much like to put an arrow through the big headed boys head. He has been here long enough to know how to survive, and survival was all that mattered on the island. He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. He winced as he heard thunder crack and he looked up as tiny drops of rain fell from the oncoming dark clouds. He sighed again and looked at Tamani. "Are we allowed inside your hut? Because rain is not something that someone who lives in a cave enjoys"
