Killick seemed a little bit nervous, despite being ready to serve Sharnaz justice. It would do them all well to be a little wary. Sharnaz was no Career, but she was smart and her seeming lack of morals offered her some advantage. He spoke about wanting to avenge Rieka and Caspia nodded, "There's no way we can let someone like her get anywhere higher in the rankings. People need to know that evil tricks get you nowhere." Caspia still couldn't believe that anyone would be happy to hunt down the youngest and weakest of the tributes. "But there's six of us and only one of her, I'm sure we'll succeed. We just have to find her, and make sure she doesn't ambush us or play any other dirty tricks."

At Penny's comment about how long they'd been walking Felix suddenly became more conscious of the ache in his own shins. They had been walking for two days straight, hadn't they? Somehow it hadn't seemed that long, perhaps because he had not been alone. Penny wrapped the quilt around them both and then curled up against him, and Felix responded almost instinctively by curling a protective arm around her. Sitting like this he could ignore the pain in his feet and the horrible gnawing feeling in his stomach and allow his tiredness to wash over him. "Tomorrow we'll be able to find a proper meal." He murmured sleepily. It was an optimistic suggestion, one he very much hoped would be true. He wasn't yet sure how, maybe Penny would be able to catch something with one of those throwing knives or they could make a trap using plant fibres. "Maybe we'll even find somewhere a bit comfier to spend the night."
