Juniper felt Melanie shaking behind her, and her frightened pleas made Juniper's heart shatter. Last words... there was something she wanted to say... to Benji. She wanted to tell him that he meant something to her, and that she liked him, and that she wanted to be with him... no! She knew she couldn't tell him that, at least not now. Cassia watched as Daniel took on the girl, and surprisingly she put up a fight in return. Jabbing the butt of her double sided battle axe into Benji's side, she tried to shove him out of the way to get to Melanie. The group seemed to be focused on protecting this child who offered them nothing. Almost as if they cared about her! Cassia couldn't possibly relate, so her solution was just to kill Melanie.
