I sense someone coming and quickly wipe my eyes. "If you tell anyone i cried your DEAD!" I told Emma and ran to the closet to hide, Scout at my side.

I noticed a window was broken, maybe I could slip through there. The military would be looking from the ground. I leapt from the lamp post a grabbed onto the ledge; glass and all.

Scout started to bark madly, knowing the person was near too.

I managed to get over the brim without removing my hands from it. The glass punctured deeper into my fingers. Red lightning sparked around the wounds, and there was no hiding it.

Scout broke the door, running up to the window and barking wildly.

I was rushed by a dog, which made me squek. Unfortunatly, animals do tend to do that. He was huge. Too huge for my liking. I hopped over him, and he just turned to face me again, barking wilding.

Scout growled at her.

Crap, he was gonna maul me!

I run out of the closet, grabbing Scouts collar and pulling him back. "What are you doing here?" I say over the barks of Scout.

"I need a place to hang out!" I cried over the distressing barking.
