Ariana blushed as the boy offered her his arm for a second time. "We shall," she replied, taking his arm and smiling at the dirt, her mind racing. As they walked to the campfire, Ariana snuck tiny glances at Carlisle. He was taller than her, but not so terribly tall that she couldn't nonchalantly flick her eyes in his direction without moving her head too much. She knew a boy like him could never actually like someone like her, but it didn't make the thought of it less nice. She was anxious, but still excited about the campfire they were now in sight of. She wondered what sorts of questions the boy would ask her once they arrived. How do you get to know someone? Ariana didn't particularly know.

Zach snickered at the powers comment. Relative to some other kids at camp, sometimes it felt like Zach and Jack didn't even have powers. "Ah yes, your uncanny luck versus my natural battle prowess, always a good show," he replied, grinning. No matter how much he tried, Zach could never outright beat Jack. He would win just about every other match but somehow the boys always ended the war with a tie. Their inability to defeat each other entirely only made them better allies at crushing others together. Zachary raised his eyebrows when he heard his sister's name. "I, mean, I suppose she's okay, man." He shrugged. "You'd have better luck talking to her than I would, even given your..... history." he put it carefully, as the two neared his friend's cabin.

Zoey nodded at her friend, thanked them, and took a deep breath. You can do this Zo. She tried not to look all the way to the top and decided to instead focus on the short height that Aeron had already climbed. Her first goal would be to reach them. As she started to grip the wall, she moved one hand and immediately lost her grip. The nerves didn't help. She decided to take another deep breath and tried again, this time with a better grip. After making it up only two or so feet off the ground, Zoey was already pretty proud of herself. She tended to fail at demigod skills so she hoped she didn't embarrass herself too badly.

Jasper wasn't sure where to go from here... the woods. He wasn't much of a tracker or investigator, but he figured that he could try to put some knowledge to use. Footprints would be useless to look for, but anything that seemed off-track, or out of place would be his main goal. He was certain this was the direction he saw the demi-gods go in. Jasper held his beloved harpoon in one hand as he carefully looked around, before spotting what he was sure was the direction that someone had run through before. It wasn't too noticeable, in fact, he was sure he wouldn't have noticed it if he wasn't specifically looking for something like that. It was a start. Jasper started walking, following his instincts.

Aeron waited for Zoey, patiently, hoping to be encouraging as they urged Zoey to try again after she fell the first attempt. "Try again! You've got this."
And when Zoey had climbed up, even just a few feet, Aeron smiled brightly again. "Great start! Shall we go a bit higher?" they said, and then climbed up a few more feet themselves, with seemingly little effort. They looked back down towards Zoey again, to wait for her, to be sure that she had the chance to catch up. They didn't want to go too far, and they figured that taking it even a little bit at a time would be manageable. And, of course, they would be willing to stop at any point if Zoey wanted get back to the ground.

On this particular morning, Casey had woken up feeling ecstatic; it was always exciting to return to Camp Half-Blood, after all. She had driven up in her dad's old car, a grey SUV (it used to be white, but time - and the lack of a decent paint job over the years - had worsened the car's appearance.) with one broken wing mirror. Needless to say, leaving the uncomfort of the *ancient* vehicle made her arrival outside the massed hall even more magnificent. Casey grabbed her back pack, which, in all honesty, was more of a 'horde everything but the kitchen sink into this pack' pack. "Ahh." She breathed in the air, feeling the same warmth, delighting in the joyous feeling that she always experienced with her arrival at the camp. "This year... this year is going to be different. And change is good." She muttered to herself as she unlocked the boot of the car and pulled out her other, smaller pack, and her favourite hat, a HORNETS baseball cap. Baseball caps and doc martins were Casey's way of life, and, besides, baseball caps were easier to see in than normal caps.
After making her way to the Ares cabin and dumping her things on a top bunk bed, she stepped outside to go and find some of her mates that had been in the camp with her last year. She could hear Aeron encouraging a climber from the rock wall across the stream, was it Ariana or Zoe? They were too far away to tell. She kept walking in the direction of the other cabins. "Evans!" She hollered upon sighting the brown-haired individual outside the Tyche's Cabin. Zack turned upon hearing her call his name, and Casey spotted Armani behind him - not Royale, but Jack. Okay, this was weird. Casey had known Jack for a little more than a year, and, when he turned around, she still saw the same goofball, a lucky little idiot that was the closest thing to a brother she ever had... but something changed in that moment, and she didn't know what. Oh god, she thought, Zoe. If Jack was still upset about Zoe, being in this place with her again would not be helping him. If I have to spend this entire camp cheering up my heartbroken friend, maybe it won't be the best year I've ever had. Casey tried to push this thought out of her head as she jogged over to greet the two of them. "It's been waaaay too long!" She pulled them both into a quick hug.

Zyon suppressed a smirk hearing Cairo's whispered words. He stepped back into a fighting stance once he noticed the three dummies activating and narrowed his eyes in concentration.

The three dummies began to surrounded him and just as they all lunged with their swords, Zyon dropped into a crouch. He placed all his weight on one arm and swept out with his left foot, sending one dummy crashing. Rolling out of the range of the other two, he quickly sent one sword straight through the back of the first dummy as it was attempting to stand.
One down.
He stood and turned to the last two dummies. They were already coming at him and he had to quickly jump back and duck as one struck out faster then he could parry it. Zyon blocked the second dummy with one of his own blades. He threw his other sword straight into the chest of the other dummy before it could bring it's failed attack down into a block.
Two down. Last one to go.
Using his first blade he shoved the dummy back a few feet, giving him enough time to jump back and retrieve his other blade. The third dummy raced after him and Zyon brought his blades down into a defensive X to block the strike. Adjusting his stance, he kicked out at one leg with enough force to slightly off-balance the dummy. While it was trying to regain its balance, Zyon brought his blades down and slashed the dummy across the chest. The third dummy sputtered and fell to the ground.

Taking a step back, Zyon wiped the sweat from his forehead with the back of one hand. Those dummies were pretty good. If I hadn't been completely focused they would certainly have landed a hit.

Zyon turned back to Cairo with a smile. "That was awesome. These dummies really are something. You said you built and programmed them, right? You did an amazing job! They gave me a good challenge."

Oliver started towards his cabin. He still had time to relax, right? He wanted to practice some more with the fountain in back. He still couldn't get the water sprayers to change the flow. He thought he could do that, but perhaps not? Every time he tried, it was the same result; frustration. He started to try again, but no results. Why? He could do that with almost every other fountain. Maybe this one was magical or something. Hmm.

Cairo watched in amazement as he took on the three dummies, and how fast he managed to take them down. She wished she could fight like that, some day. Then again, fighting was never her strong suite. Maybe she could examine his skills some more and attempt to make some robot AIs based off his style, to put around the camp borders and Bunker 9 to defend the area. She was zoning out, thinking of all the possibilities while he wiped the sweat from his forehead. She snapped back into existence, as he spoke. "Oh, thank you! Your fighting style is absolutely amazing, and I'm honored that you've let me watch!" She clapped her hands, somewhat softly. Cairo knew from experience never to make loud or sudden noises after a demigod has finished fighting, as it might spook them back into thinking they're in battle.

He could feel someone watching him, and took a few discrete glances around. It was just Ariana, he found from his assumptions he was correct. 'I wonder why she's looking at me like that? Could I have done something terrible? Maybe she's found out my little secret. I hope she's not trying to use me.' his thoughts raced, and he acted calm. Maybe it wasn't something that drastic. Whatever it was, he hoped that at the campfire he could maybe put a little distance between them. He really didn't want to be rude, however, just more on the safe side. He was getting all anxious and that was when his powers would strike out, something he would be extremely horrified of if it happened in the middle of camp.

Jasper kept going, his determination powering him through the woods, following his instincts and the traces of a trail that he was probably hoping was a lead to give him more justification for his search. He ended up spending quite a while looking, nothing else really occupying his mind.
Then, eventually, he stumbled across the entrance of... some sort of building? He could faintly hear the sounds of fighting, which faded after a few moments. A secret training area? But why? What were they up to? Jasper was certain by now this was were those two demi-gods were. He just... had to figure out whether the door would actually open for him or not.

Zyon smiled sheepishly at the compliment. "Thank you." He knew his style was a bit unconventional and he hadn't expected such a positive response. Part of him still expected an interrogation on how he had learned to fight like but he was thankful that Cairo didn't ask. When Cairo clapped softly, Zyon felt another swell of gratitude. Adrenaline was still pumping through his veins and the lack of noise helped him to calm down slightly.

Just as he was taking a deep breath and began to put his blades away, he froze. He heard someone approaching and instantly slipped back into a fighting mindset. Still coming down from the adrenaline he quickly stepped into a defensive stance in front of Cairo. He faced the direction that the noise came from and trained all of his senses outward to determine if who was approaching was friend or foe.

"Someone is here." He whispered to Cairo, not turning away from the direction of the possible threat.

"W-wh-what?!" Cairo stuttered and exclaimed. "N-no one's ever found this place before. What if they're here to hurt us? I'm too weak to fight and last for a long time." She started to send herself into an anxiety pit, before remembering. 'This is my bunker. This is my territory. If someone wants to take my property, they have to go through me.' She gave an appreciative smile when she noticed that Zyon had moved in front of her, and sent thanks to both Nemesis and Hephaestus. She was not alone, and she had a perfectly strong demigod with her. Cairo pulled out the rapier that hung at her side, and got into a defensive position. She may be weak, and she may be a pacifist, but Zeus help her, she will not give what is rightfully hers away when she still draws breath.

For a moment, Jasper wondered if he'd lose his nerve and leave. Maybe he could just go ahead and tell everyone, tell Chiron, about this... hidden bunker. But, he also wanted to confront whoever was inside himself, and find out just what they were dojng.
Grounding himself, Jasper managed to figure out how to get the door open (it was... easier than he'd expected), and stepped inside, quickly spotting the two demi-gods from earlier. He knew it. He knew they were up to no good.
"I knew it!" Jasper spoke, accusatory, "Sneaking off all suspicious, obviously planning something." he noticed they both had their weapons drawn. "Why else would you? There's perfectly good facilities around the Camp." his tone hostile. Jasper glanced between the two, weapon poised, prepared to deflect and fight if he needed to. He had quite the mind to go ahead and leave anyway, to drag anyone of importance over to this place, but he wouldn't tell them that was what he intended to do... though it was probably obvious, given his accusations towards the pair.
