"Theoretically it's finished, but practically, it's not fast enough and will probably never be finished!" She spoke cheerfully. The car was a way for her to work through events that have happened in her life, be them good or bad. It was something she could always rely on, and it helped her anxiety to know it was a solid in her life. "I honestly don't know what's up with that Apollo kid, he might be salty that he has to be here." She added to her statement before. "Soooo what were you planning on doing today?" She tried to change the topic, and not linger too long on the glaring son of Apollo.

“Sounds about right for a car.” He smiled. Zyon then shrugged. “Not sure to be honest. I’m thinking of heading into the forest to train a bit.” Zyon had been avoiding the training grounds to avoid the crowd. It was better if he was just “some random” demigod in the camp. He knew his fighting style would inspire questions. He fought with a ferocity and lethality not taught in the camp. It was how he’d survived.

"Y'know what? I like you. You're my friend now." Cairo stated, in a way that left no room for arguments. "That sounds pretty fun! Maybe I could watch? I'm not too into fighting, but it's cool to see how everyone has their own style. What type of weapon do you prefer? I've always felt best with a rapier, but it's such a definitive weapon and pretty bad in anything other than a one on one duel." She added and gave a pat to her side, where her celestial bronze rapier lay.

He had been about to just go back inside, when he realised that he'd been spotted. First by the girl - who he recognised was a daughter of Hephaetus, but he couldn't recall her name - and the guy was someone he wasn't sure if he knew. The girl had smiled at him, but Jasper glowered back. He could hear them talking, but couldn't quite make out what they were saying... but part of it had to have been about him. Whatever.
He dragged the harp back inside, but he didn't stay there. He found his sketchbook and a pencil and brought them outside with him. Drawing... the one thing he could rely on to centre himself, in a weird way. And there was never a shortage of anything to draw while at camp.
He sat himself down on the step of the cabin - there was no way he'd be sitting at the campfire right now - opening the sketchbook to a blank page, pencil poised to start drawing... whenever he could think of something.

That's closer, and a bit more of a challenge?" Aeron suggested, making a decision, then held out a hand towards Zoey, intending to bound over to the climbing wall and drag her behind.

She raised an eyebrow as she watched Royale and Oliver interact, stepping back very slightly. She hovered on the edge of the conversation for a few moments, just observing the pair, before speaking again as Oliver had started walking off. "I'm not much of a swimmer." she admitted, shaking her head a little. Though she had an excellent grasp over her powers, she didn't want to risk her electrokinesis sparking off while they were in the water - that wouldn't end well. "Perhaps later. When we spar, if you'll still be up for it." Andromeda replied to Oliver, then she turned towards Royale. "I'm going to get something to eat. Would you like to join? I can't promise I'll speak much, though..." she offered.

Zyon blinked, momentarily stunned. “Ah, ok?” A friend??? Zyon felt a rush of protectiveness replace his caution. “Yah you can watch me train. I use dual swords. Maybe I could show you a few tricks?” He gestured to the twin celestial swords on his back. He would ensue she could defend herself if he ever wasn’t around.

He backed away from Royale. "See you later, I guess," then headed towards Andromeda. "Maybe when you finish eating, you can meet me at the arena and then we can spar?" He started towards the stables, eager to ride horses, since that was one of his favourite things to do. "Don't worry, I'm not hungry. I just ate," he continued before running off.

However when he got to the stables, he found himself alone. "Seriously? Nobody likes horses? Is anyone here?"

"Awesome!! Want to go by Bunker 9? Not many people know about it, but there's a big clearing by it." She suggested, but she'd be willing to go anywhere. Cairo had a pretty calm personality, where pretty much anything goes, as long as you aren't rude or cause conflict for no reason. "I can't wait to see the blades! A lot of things can be told about a person by how they take care of their weapons!" She said enthusiastically.

Zyon nodded. “Bunker 9? Never heard of it but that sounds good. Lead the way.” A secluded spot would be even better then the forest.

As they walked Zyon tilted his head slightly in curiosity. “You mentioned someone’s weapons telling a lot about them. Besides fighting styles and thus personality, what else can someone’s weapons reveal?”

"It tells a lot of your pride, and your value in things. These weapons help us live, and should be taken care of. If someone has a rusty, dull sword, they don't care about if they survive or not. they probably won't treat people with respect. As opposed to someone with a sword they take care of. It shows they care about their life, they care about surviving, and they take importance in their weapon. If they treat it like a tool, or if they treat it like an extension of themselves. Take my friend Carlisle, for example. He has a set of Karambits, made out of a mix of celestial bronze and stygian iron. It shows the conflict he has in good and evil, or at least that's what I think. Everyone writes me off as a loon when it comes to these matters." She spoke passionately, and kind of took a flat tone for the last sentence. Due to her beliefs about a person and their weapon, she had lost some friends, and was often called the 'crazy' of the camp. "Let me know when you want to head to the Bunker! You can use it whenever, it's a secret passed down from councilor to councilor of my cabin."

Zyon was impressed. "That's incredibly insightful. I never realized how much we reveal about ourselves through our weapons..." He trailed off thoughtfully thinking about his own blades. He shook his head and stamped down the urge to demand the names of those that had shunned his new friend for her insights. Why did I have to get the overprotective monster instincts??? Of all the things to inherit, jeez.

"Let's head over to the bunker now. I'm eager to train." Zyon said cheerfully. He felt honored that she was showing him this secret. It would be an excellent spot to train his more unsavory talents.
