Arita growled at the girl and slapped her hands away, saying angrily, "Don't touch me." If Arita hadn't been so angry, the scene might have looked comical. Alyce was taller than her, even though Arita was a bit older, and the two girls were in direct contrast. Arita didn't go back to prying at the band, but instead looked first at Terra, then at Alyce. "I don't know who you are, where you came from, or how you got here, and honestly, I don't care. All I want is to find the man who kidnapped me, kill him, then go home."

Renn scoffed at James' words. "I'm not special at all, believe me. I have almost no skill, whatsoever." She said, laughing softly. Her green gaze moved from James to around the vast room, catching sight of three girls, one angry, one concerned, and the other skiddish and edgy.

"I wouldnt mind helping wit that." Alyce said. She was trying to help this girl, but she clearly didnt want it.

James smiled. "Maybe it's your looks then." He said.

Strider watched all of the people mingle and he sighed and stood up. He might as well get to know them. He crossed over to them when he looked over, and saw a black lab, sitting in the shadows watching everyone. He turned back to the experiments, but when he looked back to Alex, he saw that the boy was gone. He shook his head and walked up to them. "Hey" he said quietly.

A red blush spread across Renn's cheeks at James' comment and she let out a small giggle. "I don't think soo..." She murmured, her gaze straying back to him.

"I think so." James said. He watched the girls fighting. "I wonder what their problem is." He wondered aloud.

The blush darkned at James' words, making it more visable then before. "Thanks...." She murmured, her voice dropping to practically a whisper. She glanced once again over at the girls and shrugged, thankful to have a distraction. "Looks like one girl is trying to get her band off, and the other girls are trying to calm her down and stop her...maybe."

"Yeah." James said. He watched, trying to read their lips.

"I see how the wrist band is slightly creepy, annoying, and weird, but I wouldn't attack my own skin and make myself bleed, trying to take it off." She muttered, raising an eyebrow. She brushed her black hair away from her face.

"I agree." James said. He looked at his own band and realized it was bigger.
