    【YORHA UNIT 9S】
    【 MALE | ANDROID | NIER: AUTOMATA | TAGS: JADE 】

    The woman's a little surprised to see him, which he understands. But she smiles at him, and he returns it with ease. Hopefully most or all of the people here are just as friendly. They're might be fighting together, after all. Either for the people of this city or to find some way back home.

    She hadn't heard the announcement? 9S opens his mouth to summarize it. Before he can, the woman's face twists in pain, a hand clutching at her head. "Uh... are you okay?" He takes half a step forward, peering at her with concern. Her ears draw back to press against her head. Assuming the body language is analogous to dogs and cats, that means she's feeling defensive. Has 9S done something to warrant such a response? Or maybe it's not related to him at all, and it's more something to do with whatever's ailing her. She looks better now, though, if somewhat unhappy.

    He raises an eyebrow. His mouth twists in bemusement. "Sorry, have we met?" His first hypothesis is that no, he did not survive whatever fall she's talking about and he didn't backup his data either, which would lead to him having no memory of whatever encounter they had. However, he should have been informed about his death, if that were the case. Well, unless.. No, that doesn't matter. Where on earth would he have encountered an organic humanoid with feline ears anyways? With the announcement and all the strange people and even humans he's seen around, he'd assumed this woman must be from another... world. But if not, maybe she's some sort of experiment.

    9S also considers the possibility that she's completely mistaken. However, the specificity of her claim intrigues him. In the words of one particular Information Analysis Officer, he needs more data. "I don't really know what you're talking about, but if you provide me with more information, maybe it'll jog my memory." He smiles coaxingly. "I mean, I'm not combat model durable, but you might be underestimating me. Where did I fall from? Did you see my body?"

『𝐣𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐲』
───────────────────────
The smile 9S gave to her as he spoke indicated to Jade that he was no threat, at least for the time being. Besides, he wasn't hellbent on killing her like he was with 2P earlier...

So he didn't remember her... interesting. She realized that her current stance and expression probably made her seem much more aggressive than she actually felt, so Jade took a deep breath, letting herself loosen up a bit. Her tail began to slowly swish back and forth behind her in deep thought as she began to conjure up the gritty details of 9S's supposed demise.

"hm... this might be a bit difficult to explain if you don't remember any of the events which followed your fall, but here goes nothing! so essentially, what happened was you were trying to... ahem... kill one of my companions in this place called "the copied factory", i think. it was incredibly strange seeing such a place in the middle of kholusia, but that's beside the point. my companion and guide through the factory itself was named 2P, i believe. i'm assuming you know her, as you seemed incredibly impassioned about trying to eliminate her. as the battle between the two of you raged on, i, uh, helped her out for a little bit as i had no idea if you were going to try and kill me, too... "

Jade cleared her throat awkwardly and adjusted her glasses as she realized that this probably was a terrible first... well, second impression. If she ran into someone unfamiliar and suddenly they started going on about how she almost killed them, she'd be absolutely mortified, especially if she had no recollection of it. Regardless, she continued on with her story.

"anyways, after we thought bested you in combat, 2P and i started to leave the factory. but out of nowhere, you charged at her, sword in hand, and the two of you dueled for quite some time. i didn't really do much to intervene, probably because i rather liked having all four of my limbs intact. eventually, though, 2P delivered the final blow with her sword, sending you falling off of the platform we were standing on and into the mist below. while i did see your body falling, i was unable to see you hit the ground... and now that you're standing in front of me, i have no doubts that you are incredibly durable. that was a pretty long fall. the fog didn't really help, but if i had to guess, i'd say you fell about a malm. maybe more, considering i didn't even hear you hit the ground before i left the scene..."

She grimaced for a few seconds, trying to imagine what it would be like to fall from that height and still survive, somehow. Besides, how could you forget such an experience? Those few moments probably would have been burnt into her memory for the rest of her foreseeable life. But that was beside the point. Blinking slowly, she once more turned her gaze upon 9S and gave a weak smile.

"well, um, hopefully that rings a bell... sorry if i started rambling. and sorry for getting all defensive a few moments ago. it's just that... most people that i meet aren't very. uh. friendly."

Ashirah suppressed a flinch as the Redguard girl screamed. Great, way to reveal our location to the enemy! She thought angrily. It was clear this girl was not battle-trained. Ashirah would have to draw combat away from her; that is, if she wasn’t secretly Daedra.

The girl quieted down and came closer. She babbled an apology and something about getting used to seeing bones? The heck? Then she asked who or what Ashirah was again, and if she was a ‘robot’. What the heck was a robot? Did she mean automaton? Dwemer automatons look pretty different than Ashirah’s Ordinator armor, but the metals are similar in color so maybe a civilian could mistake the two.

Uh...I am Ashirah of House Indoril, the Nerevarine; Nerevar Reborn, Hortator of the three Great Houses, slayer of Dagoth Ur. I am not sure what a ‘robot’ is, but I most definitely am not one.” Ashirah paused and took in Saffron, looking for any recognition to her titles and deed. There was none. While part of Ashirah was pleased she wasn’t being fawned over anymore, the lack of a familiar response from another person was unsettling. This wasn’t normal.

Er, just call me Ashirah, okay Saffron?” She asked.

SCP-1487 | 003

1487 nodded blankly as the machine thing read off her name, which she felt was unnecessarily long. "Uhuh, okay..." She whistled quietly until at last the other introduced themselves as Ashirah. "Ashirah?" She repeated. The word didn't roll off her tongue we. "Ash-I-raw? A-she-rah? Can I just call you Ash? That would be so much easier for me to say." SCP-1487 tended to give people nicknames, especially when it came to most of the scientists she dealt with. While waiting for her answer, Saffron tucked her hands behind her back and studied Ash curiously. The being, whatever it was, still left the skip mildly unnerved, but the two of them were just a couple weirdos in this weird place. "So if you're not a robot..." 1487 began. "Where are your bones? Or do you not have any?" The plated face opposite the young girl reflected no expression, yet its metal movements were completely natural; fluid, even. Was it a living machine, unaware that others of its kind were artificial? Saffron could ask a lot of questions, and after her time with the Foundation, nothing was really off the table.

(I'M SO SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG! I recently started a new job and getting everything prepared for it took up a lot of time and left me burnt out)

9S [04]

    【YORHA UNIT 9S】
    【 MALE | ANDROID | NIER: AUTOMATA | TAGS: JADE 】

    From the beginning, there are already details which nag at him. Copied Factory? The only factory he knows of is the Abandoned Factory, but 'Copied'... Something about it sets his teeth on edge. It all reminds him deeply of machines; perhaps he came across the term in their network. Kholusia, on the other hand, he doesn't know a thing about. Maybe an Old World name; he'll have to check with his pod later.

    These musings are swept to the side by the mention of '2P'. Eliminating '2P'. He can't help but frown. If this is a joke, it's rather distasteful. He's never even heard of a 2P, but it's far too similar to 2B for his liking. As a result, this all nearly sounds like a very convoluted personal attack. After all, he'd... he'd never do that to 2B. 2B is his partner. 2B is... special to him. Even if it'll always end the same way... It wouldn't be fair to blame her. That's why he would never want to raise a sword against 2B.

    But is that really true? Adam's poisonous words return to the forefront of his mind: 'You do not trust anything. You want to destroy everything. You have lost hope in everything.' His pulse quickens. Like a mere machine could know such a thing. Like a mere machine could understand anything about him. Like a machine had the right to dig out those awful, disgusting thoughts and—it's not like they're true. It's not like they're true, so he should just stop thinking about it. He squeezes his eyes shut, riding out a wave of anger that makes his chest tight and his jaw tense.

    It'd be easier if the woman was lying, but her words and movements radiate awkwardness throughout in a way that seems totally genuine. What's he supposed to think about this? How's he supposed to react? He can't be bothered to care about the falling from a deadly height part anymore, and he should probably feel worse for apparently trying to kill this lady for getting in the way of his fight with this 2P, but... to be fair, it's hard to feel responsible for something that he has no recollection of and that sounds so surreal.

    9S sighs, feeling too drained to smile back without it coming off completely forced. "Yeah, no, doesn't ring a bell. Sorry, but I've never met or even heard of a 2P. Or a Copied Factory, or Kholusia, so... maybe you met another 9S model?" He shrugs halfheartedly. It's a shot in the dark, but... "My operator mentioned they were upping production."

    "I know a 2B, though. Have you met her? White bob haircut, black hair band, sword like mine, only white? And her visor covers her right cheek." He was going to mention her mole, too, until he realized a lot of people wouldn't notice such a detail. It would sooth his worries if she knew 2B as well. It'd make it easier to write the 2B, 2P thing off as a coincidence. "If it was me, then, uh, sorry for trying to kill you..." She doesn't seem too angry about it, so, despite this strange first(?) meeting, he still has hopes they'll be able to get along. "Oh, I didn't catch your name."

Emiko Shina & Gaomon

    indentationEmiko slowly awoke to see her fuzzy partner standing over her. She was about to ask what he was doing after pushing him aside to sit up, but she noticed the unfamiliarity of her surroundings and her words caught in her throat. Gaomon gave her a knowing sigh before answering the questions that were already swirling around her head. “This isn’t the digital world, I have no idea where we are, and I don’t know what’s going on either...but don’t panic! Uh, I have your phone.”Emiko grabbed her makeshift digivice from her friend who was now sitting on the edge of the bed next to her. He was clearly trying to keep her calm but there was just too much they didn’t know for her not to be at least a little worried. She slid out of the bed and motioned to Gaomon to get up as well. ”We should search the place.””Wha? Are we missing something?” he asked, a bit confused, “Well no but maybe there are listening devices or something...” Gaomon didn’t protest any further, better safe than sorry. He went to check under the lone table in the corner while Emiko checked the bed.

    The duo didn’t get very far into their search when they were interrupted by a man speaking over some kind of p.a. They looked at eachother for a few seconds after he was done. Then, Gaomon spoke up, ”I don’t think I trust that. They kidnapped us.” Emiko was inclined to agree. Their reasoning wasn’t exactly the greatest. “But what if they really need our help that badly? Besides these monsters they’re talking about could be digimon.” Gaomon was still incredibly concerned but he knew he couldn’t stop Emiko from at least trying to help, so he simply nodded in acceptance. ”Thank you Gao! I promise to be careful!” Emiko gave him a warm hug as thanks, even now she was happy he would always be there to help. “Ok, I think we should get out of here and get some more information.” With that, she walked towards the door to their room and slowly opened it. The two of them poked their heads through the opening and scanned the hallway it led to. They didn’t see anything but Gaomon noticed something immediately. “Hmm, I can smell a lot of other humans. I think one is close but I’m not sure where...” He took a step out of the door in order to get a better look down the hallway.

ren [ 004 ] | kasumi [ 002 ]

      Ren Amamiya!!
      xxxxmale seventeen years old persona 5 tagged: varu
      ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

      Letting a soft hum escape his lips as she answered his question, Ren gave a small bob of his head. So that was what she had previously meant by toa of psionics then. That made far more sense. Still it was something he had never even heard of, even in fictional works. Perhaps it wasn't something that existed at all in his world then. It didn't matter anyways. What actually matter was what she had followed with. Listening to her explanation of her species, the teen was intrigued. So she wasn't a machine like he had first thought. He could have been fooled that she was some kind of fancy robot or something along those lines much like the ones in Okumura's palace. She was about as tall as the larger ones had been though he could see rather notable differences between them as well. Pushing the thought aside, he quirked a brow slightly at the next statement that came from her. He figured it would be strange seeing another species be the dominant one when their existence was brand new, but it made him wonder if other worlds truly were full of humans and not other species like she was. They didn't need to be the same exact thing as her, but just different than humans themselves. It was an interesting thought to have. From looking around it seemed to be the case that a lot of the worlds that had been pulled from were human or in the very least humanoid. It was possible their looks were deceiving and they were something entirely different much like those from the games or animes he enjoyed were. There really was no telling exactly what anyone was like. Putting that thought on hold, he gave yet another nod as she posed a question to her. "Many things in my world probably would be considered organic to you. Beings made from metal actually are not common at all. Most are built by humans actually," he responded before pulling a hand from his pocket. In that moment a new thought came to mind and despite how many people were currently around and possibly watching, he figured it was safe to do.

      "But there are beings that are a bit odd. They don't exist within the real world, but rather a cognitive one and are, well, born from the heart of their user," he stated as his hand rested upon the mask on his face. Pulling it from its place, he uttered "persona" softly to himself causing the mask to burst into blue flames as it was pulled away. Within seconds a much taller being stood behind him. It was clear that it was much unlike him. The persona was much taller than any of the humans present and rivaled Varu in terms of height. However, the most defining feature were his wings. In the current moment, they were tucked in to try and save space, but it was evident that they were there. "Since we'll be working together, I suppose you'll need to be aware of Arsene's presence as well." Shifting his gaze to his own persona, Ren let a small smirk cross his face, half expecting his companion to offer some snarky remark. Surprisingly he was quiet though. Speak of being out of character. Then again it seemed that his persona was taking in the room around them. That was no surprise. He was sure that Arsene could tell that this was not the Metaverse nor a combination of the Metaverse and real world that he came from. This place was something entirely different and probably a place where Arsene shouldn't even exist yet here they were. "Arsene here may look organic, as do many of his kind, but I highly doubt they actually are. I actually couldn't tell you if he truly is or not, but he is another kind of being that exists."

      Kasumi Yoshizawa!!
      xxxxfemale fifteen years old persona 5 royal tagged: lumia
      ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

      Kasumi was confused by the others choice of words. The way she spoke seemed like on of disinterest and how she followed it up with not knowing how they could save this place only added to that in her mind. Of course she would have never expected everyone to be excited about saving some strange place or even thrilled about it but it was obvious to her what they needed to do. Taking care of the monsters was what they were being requested to do and thus that was clearly their goal. Maybe this girl before her had no powers and that was why she was questioning it, but Kasumi still saw no reason for a rather negative outlook on things. That negative outlook only continued to worsen the more the other spoke. Allowing a frown to form upon her lips, the teen rubbed the back of her neck. Looking around she wasn't sure why the other was quick to assume everyone present was a "kid." Some older people did appear rather young and even so, she made it seem as if kids weren't capable of holding their own. There was no telling what anyone here was capable of doing. The only one she could be sure of was Ren given that she had seen him in action with her own eyes and the same applied for him knowing what she was capable of although she felt it was to a much lesser degree than him. "I wouldn't underestimate those around you. You never know what others are capable of doing. Age shouldn't matter when it comes to that," she stated as she dropped the hand away from her neck. Oddly she felt confident in those words even though she was usually not the most confident person around. "If you have an overly negative outlook on things then things definitely won't change. I understand being unhappy about this situation and having no desire to help, but that doesn't really solve anything." She figured that even if someone did not wish to fight these monsters that they were more than welcome to stay behind in this place with no repercussions, but she was definitely not one of those people.

      For a moment she fell silent until she heard Lumia speak once again. The mention of bloodshed wasn't something that had crossed her mind, but it was a valid point. Surely there would be those who could tend to wounds though. With every fight there was bound to be those kinds of worries. However, what truly took her by surprise was the next thing. It seemed that this other wished to leave this problem to the adults present and was saying that no kids should have to get involved. That statement was one that maybe she would have agreed with in the past, but after learning what the Phantom Thieves stood for from Ren, it was something that she couldn't fully agree with. The one she looked up to so highly was fighting against those corrupt adults back home so that people like herself could try and stand up for themselves and make their voices heard. They were trying to give those who felt troubled a chance to be heard. She was sure that if he had just heard that statement he would have rejected those words and countered them immediately. As much as she wished to, she was troubled with what to say. Casting her gaze away, she continued her silence as she tried to think over what to say. "Leaving everything to adults isn't something that should be done," she finally countered with a small shake of her head. "Back home things were left to the adults and so many of them became corrupt with power. I can tell you some others here probably feel the same way and would refuse to leave everything to the older ones. If you don't want to do anything, I'm sure you're more than welcome to stay here. It's not like you have to do anything." Maybe she was being too defensive, but Kasumi was ready to prove that age shouldn't be a factor in any of this.

emerald sustrai / 19 / pansexual / RWBY
location: hall
power: hallucinations
tags: gaomon

emerald was wandering the halls, wondering if there was anyone else in this place. she paced for a bit, then continued forward. the announcement from the overhead speakers had made sense- it was just like remnant, there were monsters to fight and they had to work together. except... cinder wasnt here to give her orders. which made things hard. and her partner, mercury, wasnt around either. emerald was alone in every sense.
she turned a corner and sighed, pulling out her scroll. still no signal to remnant. she had no way of contacting cinder or anyone from her world right now. maybe the front desk would have some answers? emerald continued to march down the hall, past a door and to a window here she looked out at the streets. they were empty except for a few cars that looked old and rusty. she frowned.
that was when the door creaked open. emerald spun around and fiddled for her weapon, managing to grab one gun and pointed it in the direction of the person- or thing. "stop right there," she said sternly, wide eyed and staring.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Her eyebrows raised at the teen's defensive side as it flared up at her words, though she rolled her eyes a bit.
"Trust me kid, I know about corrupt adults," she stated, a small growl erupting from her throat at the memory, "I know what it's like to be cast out and left for dead, but right now that isn't the point. If I was back home, you would still be in training, whereas those sixteen and above would be out hunting and patrolling with the rest.Regardless, I do know not to underestimate, especially since you shouldn't underestimate me either."
Her lips upturned to a smirk as she revealed her sharpened canines to the fifteen year old, ice-blue eyes glinting in the overhead light as she let herself relax a bit more. Lumia's gaze remained sharp as she met the younger girl's ruby gaze with her icy one.
"I was kicked out of my pack because I refused to kill the leader, so don't talk to me about corruption. I've killed tougher creatures than you, just for survival and food rights.I don't find this interesting yet, since I don't see why we're all here.To hunt some mutant game in this world?" she shot back, her tone edging a growl despite her posture,"If killing is the game, leave it to those who deserve to die sooner then those who don't. That is what I was referring to, so don't get your tail in a twist over it."
Toa Varu||Bionicle||Female||Tagged: Ren
    So he was from an organic world. He still seemed to have a hard time separating her from a robot, but she wasn't really sure how to correct him without coming off as rude. She was more than just some fancy Vakhi or souped-up Boxor, she was a Toa, a hero. She supposed it was fine, as long as he didn't try ordering her around like she was his servant.
    The Toa of Psionics' hand tightened on her lance as the human activated his mask power, summoning forth a large creature with a face she recognized instantly. Not that she'd seen this being before, but she knew a creature of Shadow when she saw one. The twisted features, the inky black skin, the claw-like hands, they were all things she'd seen before, usually connected to things trying to kill her. The only reason she didn't blast it right away was that Joker seemed to be familiar with it. Maybe Shadow worked differently where he was from. "You've got better control over that Kanohi power than some Toa I know," she said, "but I'd be careful. Shadow beings are unpredictable, there's no telling what that thing might do if your concentration slips." She was glad she'd readied her Kanoka launcher beforehand, a freeze disk might keep the creature in place long enough for Joker to regain control over it. Hopefully he had enough control to be able to send things away as well, most users of the Kanohi Zatth weren't that proficient.
