For once, Karter actually smiled, the earlier annoyance having disappeared in news of the celebration soon to come. He turned to face Kane without the usual annoyed or frustrated expression he usually wore around the other boy. "Lookin' forward for it? You seem like the type who'd really be..." he paused for a moment, thinking. "The life of the party, I guess."

"So hows the new Greenie? I haven't been able to catch a glance of her. How's she holding up?" Noah picked up two thin but sturdy sticks and knocked them together a few times. Then he looked around. "Where is she anyway? I thought you were suppose to being her the tour, did you shove her off to someone else?"

Newt knelt to fix some of the branches that stuck out just enough to bother him. Then he straightened and shrugged. "You could say that. I think at that point the both of us were...pretty done with each other already." He rolled his eyes. "How’s she holdin' up? I dunno. She asked questions, and got curious, just like any other Greenie. She’s got spirit though. That’s somethin' I can appreciate."

For all his usual irritation at the Track-Hoe, for once, Karter couldn’t help but agree with him. He grinned. "Always makes it a bit more lively, doesn’t it? Figurin' I'm gonna try and get a little drunk myself," he admitted.

"You mean she was starting to get annoyed with you? Give her too many boring details about this wonderful place?" He gave a short laugh "A Greenie with spirit, oh boy. That could be trouble. Does she have a sharp tongue? If she does I want to meet her right away." He laughed again and said "This could be a lot of fun."

Fun was not a word Newt would have used to describe Harlow, but he just sighed and shook his head. There was no arguing. Or at least, no point in it. "Sharp tongued is a good word, but that’s just my opinion. When you get to meet her, I guess you’ll see for yourself."

"Fight a bit?" Karter asked, raising an eyebrow. He held his hands up in front of you. "Just sayin' now, I ain't gonna he the one fightin' you." Kane was probably double his strength, and definitely taller. Not exactly a good match, despite Karter's own speed.

"Odd" She muttered when Juliette explained what she had seen of the runners. She didn't get what the girl said under her breath and instead watched her begin to stack the jars. "I think they know more than what they've been letting on," she offered, as the other talked about asking Newt or Minho. If Minho went to the map room after returning early, she could only imagine what that meant.

She opened the door to have a gage at what time it was, and sure enough, the sun had already begun to set. The day had gone too quickly for her liking, perhaps it was the boredom or perhaps the ever-growing anxiety in the glade. "Won't be long until the bonfire I suppose. Want to get out of this stuffy hut?" She asked Juliette. Valentina still stood peering out the door, watching other gladers as they bustled around a bit getting things done.

She could already see the two love birds conversing, but she couldn't care less if she interrupted them. If she was okay before she wasn't now, being around them made her angry. She only wished Bailey would have the guts to spar with her tonight. She narrowed her eyes at the two, she saw that Bailey was starting to speed up as she had approached. It made it obvious she was avoiding Blaire, as she should be.
She really didn't want to be around them for long. So she cut to the chase "There is the Greenie celebration tonight." her voice was the typical Blaire voice, which basically meant, not the nicest. It wasn't directed towards just Bailey either, it was to both of them. "Newt wanted me to tell as many people as I could." she explained as she shifted her weight to one leg.

Chance/Builder/Olivia
He could hear her voice and her approach 'great miss wannabe Keeper.' he looked over at her his eyes then wandered back up to the sky. "Yeah, well that sounded all fine and dandy, I wasn't feeling it. Looks like you did pretty good yourself. I did, however, build a swing..." he gestured to the tree a little ways away from them. "What was I doing?" he asked as if he was questioning himself "OH that's right, I was doing whatever I wanted, and whatever I wanted was nothing." he said waving his finger in front of him as if he had just remembered his actions. "Is there a problem? I mean even if there is there's not much you can do about it." his words sharp and rude towards her.
