She looked over at him, her smile in its usual place. "Isn't there someone you have feelings for or want to get to know better?" She popped a piece of gum in her mouth, looking over the girls sitting alone. "What about that redhead, Bri? Or maybe the brunette, Charlotte?"
"The female gender is an irrelevant part of life," Eston said simply. "Perhaps fun to be with, but irrelevant. I don't look at girls the same way other members of my gender do," he explained.
"So... In a nutshell, you're an egotistical, emotionless, pit of utter detest of romance with women." She nodded and turned to look at the moon. "And yet, you're one of my best friends." She smiled, her eyes glancing at him. "How about a dance? I am determined to get you to dance, and darned if it won't happen."
Eston looked over at Kennedy and said, "I didn't say I detested romantic relationships," he said, before reaching out his hand in a very gentleman like way to ask her to dance.
"That's what it sounded like." She took his hand and smiled when a slow song came on. Music was one of her greatest passions. They swayed and twirled, their moves conforming to the music. "So, you're not against romance, but you still think females are irrelevant. Explain this to me, please."
"Well, that's not the way you made it sound the first time." She smiled and let the music flow over her. "But, I do see your point. I also have a question. Have you ever been in a relationship of had feelings for someone? Like... You felt a passion or love for them?"
