Christal nodded in understanding. If something was said outloud, she understood. If she was expected to read, she was doomed.

[RoseQ]

"Okay, now that we have that..." she began explaining all the other conversions.
"Alright, this is the assignment," she wrote it down on the board. "Page 10, 2-20 evens."

Christal froze for a moment then slowly looked at her sister and Zach. This could be a problem.
Abbie sighed and took out their borrowed textbook and layed it between the two desks and offered Christal a peice of paper that she took. They both started working in the book and checking each other's work so neither of them would possibly fail.

Zach opened his textbook and began working. The work, he found, was easily and he went through the assignment easily.

Celeste stopped paying attention to Thompson once he started to talk about ancient Maya. She didn't care.

After about 10 minutes, Christal finished and blushed as she realized everyone had been waiting on her. She hated having Dyslexia.

Just then, first bell rang. Fifteen minute break, then third period.
"See you tomorrow," Mrs. Scott said.

Celeste gathered her stuff, her silver bag and morning binder. She headed to her locker, as she had wellness next.

Emmett got up too, grabbing his stuff to put it away.

Christal jumped out of her desk, grabbed her stuff and ran out the door into the hall where she sank to the floor near the lockers.

Zach followed after her.
"Hey, what's up?" He asked sympathetically.

"I hate being Dyslexic, it's stupid and it takes me too long to finish anything and hope for a C." Christal said and started hitting her head against the lockers thinking maybe it would knock the dyslexia out of her.

Zach sat down beside her.
"You know you can't do much about it," he said. "I'm sure you'll be able to resolve it. I know you will be."
