Katrina stopped and stared at the rubble in front of her. She could have sworn she heard breathing from below the rubble. Slowly, she approached the area and bent down. She stared down through the rubble for a moment and could barely make out the shape of a body. She gasped and started digging through the rubble.

Bambi

Bambi continued struggling to break free. Once she finally managed to, she saw a young woman standing in front of her. She jumped and shrieked loudly. "Who are you?!" she squealed. After her question was asked, she discovered that they girl would probably ask the same question. Since she didn't have an answer, she decided to use that name that was echoing in her mind... Bambi. That would be her name until she got her memory back.

Phoenix let out a cry out alarm, as, suddenly, a viscous snarl interrupted her thoughts, and she turned around, gripping the pipe in her hands and closing her eyes, not even checking to see what the creature was before she swung. Her arms trembled with the force of impact, and the pipe flew from her hands after hitting whatever the hell was about to attack her so hard. She let out a gasp as he weapon fell, and opened her eyes to see a thin, scraggly creature that looked nothing more than skin and bones; a coyote.

Phoenix stared at the wild animal, slowly backing up as it recovered from the large gash she had left on it's shoulder. Of course, it wouldn't give up that easily, Phoenix knew, because obviously this animal was hungry enough to eat a horse. And... even though she wasn't a horse, she was as close as the canine could get right now. Eventually, Phoenix had backed up enough to reach for her weapon again, but by that time the coyote had stood and was eyeing her carefully. Without further preface, Phoenix knelt down quickly, grabbed the pipe, and threw it as hard as she could at the animal, which leaped at the same time. With a sickening crack, the coyote let out a yelp and fell back, scampering away from the wide-eyed girl.

Devon gave little kick which his legs, testing out his capability to fling rubble of himself. xD He outstretched his right arm, reaching for the sky, checking to make sure her hadn't broken any bones. Happy that his good arm was virtually unwounded (besides a few bruises and scrapes), he worked on moving the beam off his chest. It was hard work, especially with one hand, but after a series of pushes and grunts, it lay next to his right side. He took a moment to catch his breath, before removing several smaller pieces of rubble. There was still the situation of his left arm of course, and, it was starting to hurt quite badly.
