Nero [ 1 ] - Chisa [ 1 ]

      Nero // Male // 22 // Devil May Cry // tags; open
Falling off a tree the moment he wakes up isn't an item on Nero's to-do list, not today or ever. Nero yelped and shook leaves off his body, getting rid of the rest by standing up and wiping them off. He already wakes up in a sour mood in the morning no matter the circumstances but having such a rude awakening had worsen his morning fatigue. The white haired boy growled, combing off any small twigs and dirt that got onto his head when he had bumped almost face first into the ground. Did he get lost somewhere? Why was he on top of a tree in the first place? The forest surroundings around him made him squint. He wasn't very fond of nature. Easy to get lost if you don't have any sort of navigation skills which Nero hated to admit he didn't have. He scanned the forest floors and found Red Queen as well as Blue Rose, glad that at least he wasn't stranded without any sort of weapons. As long as he can hack or brute force his way through something, he should be fine in any situation. "Well, damn. Guess that date has to wait." He told himself in an annoyed tone as he picked up his weapon and mounted them where they belonged. Looking over his mechanical arm, Nero was glad to see they still functioned. He's not defenseless at all but without any sort of explanation or communications with his theme, he feel a bit awry. No where else to go, Nero picked a direction and followed the path. The fog made it hard to see but it wasn't hard to find a way through it.

On second thought, perhaps going blindly around him wasn't such a good idea. Then again, there wasn't much of an option that he could pick. Nero stared at the strange animal trapped in thorny vines. It had wings and the head of a bird yet it was as large as a lion as well as having the claws and the tail of one. Feathers were flying in the air as it struggled to get out of the natural trap, wildly flapping it's wings to gain ground. Nature kept strong and the more the creature struggled, the tighter it was as more pain is inflicted upon the creature. He finally pieced it together and concluded that the creature was a Gryphon. Things that didn't make sense wasn't that much of a bizarre thing for him, he had met a talking annoying bird after all. He took a deep breath and approached it. He wasn't sure if he should intervene but he didn't want to leave while the damn thing is squawking in pain. "Hey, I'm gonna get you out of here, okay?" He crouched and tried to appear non-threatening. The mythical creature was watching him and still panicking, kicking the air away from Nero while still trying to get out of the vines. Nero unsheathed Red Queen, cutting the vine from afar to show that he wanted to help the creature. It stopped struggling but kept it's distance. "See? That's better." Nero said with an awkward smile. Talking to animals while helping them- maybe a bit of Kyrie had rubbed onto him. Unfortunately for Nero, a monstrous wild boar entered his peripheral vision, perhaps because it was all the noises that had attracted it here. He backed off a bit, ready to use his sword for more than just gardening. From behind the boar were a few smaller piglets. Realizing what this meant, Nero dropped his smile and sighed. "Ah, f-" Nero dodged the boar's stampeding charge. It's a whole family and an angry mom. Great! Just what he needed.

      Chisa Chikafuji // Male // 28 // oc // tags; open
Chisa dangled his legs off the tree near the waterfall. The water isn't shallow but it isn't deep enough for a full bath. Chisa had woken nearby and was attracted by the rushing sound of the stream as the water crashed against the stone. He had learned about waterfalls before. He may have lived in the capital city his whole life and never went out of the country but his curiosity makes him excited to learn about new things, even if it seems small or insignificant- like the existence of waterfalls or different bodies of water. His tail wagged as he watched mist of water coming from the waterfall. The whole forest was foggy but Chisa didn't rely on his vision too much in the first place. The sound of water, he loves hearing it. All of this, waking up in a strange place with new smells and new things to see, it didn't bother him. Though, he sure misses his dear Yasuo... he wants his friend in the cat family to see this wonderful place. That butcher- he really needs to enjoy life more and especially get away from that pet of his. Humans can't be trusted, they're going to one day do something crafty to you if you let your guard down. Chisa tried to warn Yasuo this but the former would simply laugh it off, making Chisa sad. Yawning, he curled up on the thick tree branch and slept. The sound of the waterfall is so nice.

Phantasma || Nonbinary || 15 || Tags; Nero

The teen was sleeping soundly, well they were sleeping soundly until their ghost partners were making a bit of noise. "Mellow wake up! Wake up!" Phantasma let out a small grunt of protest. "Five more hours..." They muttered, rolling over to their side as if shaking one of the ghosts off of them. "You aren't going to get through them." One of the ghosts said with a shrug. "But I do know how to wake them up!" The ghost went over and picked up a stick, started thwacking the kid repeatedly at the face. "OUCH! Alright! Alright! I'll wake up!" Phantasma sat up, yanking the stick away from the ghost then breaking it half. "Don't do that ever again." The ghost snickered while the other one went up to Phantasma with news. "Mellow we are in a different world far from home. This place does have others here though they are lost." The entity explained cutting off Phantasma's yawn. "Wait for real? Holy spirits! One of many scenarios I love to end up in. Wait where's my book?" The child looked around a bit panic stricken then spotted the book not too far away in a pile of leaves. Getting up quickly they ran over it then picked it up giving it a small hug. "Thank goodness it isn't gone." The two ghosts looked at each other for a moment then looked over at the child.

"Well we spotted a living being near us though he might be in a sticky situation." Phantasma put a hand under their chin raising an eyebrow at the ghost. "So.. you guys want me to help him?" Both ghosts nodded. "He might be interesting to you since he's not from your world or this world." The medium's eyes lit up with curiosity. "Okay! I hope he is interesting and not boring. Alright give me the directions of where he is then." The two ghosts nodded and headed straight over to Nero's direction.

Finally arriving at the man's location, the teen was hiding behind the bushes a bit far away from the man. Seeing that he was surrounded by a family of boars. They don't look happy at all. Phantasma clapped their hands once in joy. "Make some spooky noise you two!" Phantasma commanded. The ghosts gave the kid a small salute then went over to Nero’s place. Both of them made the trees rustle restlessly and let out an ominous sound. The family of boars looked around frantically in fear as a shadow loomed over them getting bigger and bigger, white glowing pupils staring at the family then let out a roar causing them to flee squealing in fear with the mother boar behind. Just like that everything went back to normal except hearing a child's laughter echoing in the forest behind the bushes. “Haha look at them go! Nice job you two.”

Getting out of their hiding spot they walked over to the man with a smile on their face. The ghosts behind the teen close to them looking at the man closely. “His name is Nero, Mellow.” The kid gave a small nod at that. “Nice to meet ya, Nero. The name’s Phantasma. Little ghosts told me that you aren’t from this world or from mine.” Phantasma said with an innocent smile on their face. “Well I ain’t from here either so basically this place is brimming with unknown creatures and anomalies. We might be lucky and get out of this place alive.”

    ─ ─ 𝙷𝙸𝙲𝙲𝚄𝙿 & 𝚃𝙾𝙾𝚃𝙷𝙻𝙴𝚂𝚂
    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
    [ details; males, twenty-one, dragon & rider ] • [ tags; zenitsu ]
indent toothless huffed at zenitsu's exclamation, leaning back to sit on his haunches while there wasn't much movement going on for the trio. hiccup, however, took a far better approach to the teenager's many concerns about riding the dragon and, although some of the questions went by quite quickly, did his best to try and quell that uncertainty and convince zenitsu that it wasn't as bad as he appeared to make it out to be. "hey, now, he's not a thing he's just-" hiccup was quick to defend the night fury when doubt regarding flying him was expressed, making a variety of hand motions while he spoke - something other people often pointed out about the chief, much to his dismay. but toothless wanted to make it clear that he didn't appreciate zenitsu's exclamation and then further questions, rolling his eyes while opening and closing his mouth to mimic someone speaking as soft grumbles escaped his throat. as the dragon did this, he looked away before dropping back onto all fours and completely turning his back to the teenager with a quick irritable flick of his tail. "oh -- toothless don't be like that!" shoulders sagging exasperatedly, hiccup flashed zenitsu a meek smile, "it's, uh, it's fine. he's just a big baby sometimes." waving his hand dismissively, although the display of nonchalance wasn't particularly convincing as the rider's glance did occasionally flit towards the dragon beside him as if to keep checking that he was still there. while hiccup doubted that toothless would be bothered enough to completely ditch the two of them, especially considering the foreign surroundings, he still wouldn't put it past the winged beast.

clearing his throat sheepishly, stifling an equally nervous laugh, hiccup returned his focus on the teenager, clapping his hands shut as if to signify the conversation moving on from the sulking dragon. "you won't fall off of him, really. i've been flying toothless for," he took a moments pause to let out a low whistle, "six years now and the only time we've had an incident has been when we first started out." the dragon rider explained with a smile, hoping that the emphasis on how long he had been riding toothless for was enough to validate the safety of the activity. "he's a dragon; a night fury. know he looks pretty scary but he's called toothless for a reason." after making that statement, hiccup turned on his heel to face the still sulking dragon, taking his head and guiding toothless to turn to the side at least. once the dragon was positioned, hiccup smiled at zenitsu and motioned towards toothless who opened his mouth as if on cue to present the toothless gums. "his teeth are retractable!" hiccup explained with his arms wide as he gestured towards the open mouth, his voice possessing a similar tone to a car salesman announcing the benefits of whatever product he was trying to sell. toothless released an unimpressed warble at this and shook his head which caused hiccup to laugh somewhat nervously then rub the night fury's head, moving his hand around the spines and curving around to scratch just beneath his chin. after some seconds the rather grumpy expression on toothless' face was replaced with his usual cheerful expression, lifting his head and releasing a quavering roar.

"there we go! back to normal, happy and not-rude-to-friends toothless." hiccup announced, smiling at zenitsu once again, this time far more genuinely and lacking any sense of nervousness his other ones had possessed. "it's completely safe to ride him, trust me. he's saved my life countless times." returning to the subject of riding the dragon, the chief's voice took on a somewhat more serious tone with that statement, his smile becoming gentler as he looked at toothless again, "i owe a lot to him." the endearing moment between dragon and rider was short-lived, though, as toothless knocked his head into hiccup's abdomen, winding the young adult who doubled over with his arms wrapped around his stomach for a few seconds to regain his breath then stood up straight again. "if it would help you feel more comfortable, you can touch him." hiccup offered once he recollected himself, voice softening, "almost everyone i know were scared or angry at dragons before they experienced having one of their own. and if i can change the mind of an entire island of gruff and angry vikings, i'm sure you'll warm up to him in no time!" with hiccup's tone lightening to become more jovial again, toothless' gaze moved to look at zenitsu once more, pupils dilated and head tilted to the side as he took a single step forward with a quiet purr rumbling in his throat. he didn't take any steps further, though, due to the generally jittery demeanor of the teenager.

      Genji Shimada!!
xxxxmale thirty-five years old overwatch tagged: luca
      ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

In his short time alone, Genji came across very little in the forest with the exception of a few common forest animals that he paid little mind to. They would serve him no purpose at a time like this. Still he was mindful of keeping his footsteps soft in order to not frighten them. Some saw him and took off nevertheless. There was nothing he could do about that except continue to move forward in search of some intelligent life. It didn't take him long to find just that. A figure came into sight and seemed to be approaching him. It was clear that they had already spotted him though he supposed that was no surprise. The green lights glowing on his cybernetic body did make it easy to pick him out if one was looking in his direction. The thought to turn them off before moving about hadn't crossed his mind this time, although there was no reason he should have sought to have them off. Even though he had been in search of another, the cyborg didn't ease up on his current stance. Actually, the hand rest on the handle of his wakizashi was ready to draw the blade quickly if needed. His other hand made no movements to reach for his katana though. He doubted he would need to rely on both blades at once. Instead, his fingers curled, almost making a fist, just in case he needed to dispense shurikens between them. In his mind, there was harm in being too cautious at least not until he knew exactly what was going on. He still had no clue his reason for being in such a place and if this person was part of the reason why, then he would have no problem getting them to talk. Allowing all his focus to shift to the teen approaching him, Genji began to observe his movements in silence. It was more than clear that the other was cautious of him too. It was nothing new to him. Most acted that way upon seeing him. His appearance always seemed to make many uneasy, unfortunately. He had learned to look past that though. There might be other reasons for the others behavior as well.

His thoughts seemed to be confirmed by the boy's voice although the ninja knew better than to immediately believe one so readily. For all he knew it could easily be an act. However, now that he could see Luca clearly, many things became evident to him. The boy was young, no older than twenty, or so that was what Genji assumed. The other thing was that the boy had a "soft" appearance. If he were to be honest, Luca didn't look as if he would hurt a fly, but looks could be quite deceiving. Genji knew that. However, he figured it wouldn't hurt to ease up a bit. Lowering his right hand and uncurling his fingers, the ninja rolled his shoulders back while straightening his posture. He was about to answer the boy's greeting, but was cut off as he continued. His next words made it obvious that they were both in the same situation. That troubled Genji. He doubted that his enemies would have anything against a mere teenager, so why had they both been brought to this place? That was a question that the cyborg struggled to find any reasonable answer to so he decided it wasn't worth troubling himself with in the moment. It was clear that Luca wouldn't have the answers he sought nor would he be able to answer any the boy might have either other than the one that he had posed. Sadly, he couldn't offer a positive response though. It was in that moment that Genji let his hand slip from his wakizashi and his whole body truly appeared to be at ease. Despite his urge to keep himself defensive, he knew he had no reason to put the boy on edge. He would have even offered the other a smile, but he had no plans of removing his face plate for such a simple gesture. Instead, he gave a small shake of his head. "Unfortunately I cannot offer any information on this place to you," he finally said as he folded his arms over his chest and let a soft sigh escape his lips. "It appears we are both in the same situation. I only just woke up here as well and have been searching for some answer as to why I am here."

Again such a thought troubled him. Why was he here? Surely Luca was questioning that too. He couldn't imagine someone who seemed so young wouldn't feel uneasy being taken from their home. There was no point in feeling sorry for the other though. It wasn't as if he was in tears or in a panic over it. Actually, the boy seemed at least somewhat calm so perhaps he was used to strange happenings like this. Pushing the thought from his mind, Genji made a split second decision as to what he would say next. As sudden as it might seem, introducing himself sooner rather than later was probably for the better. "If we both are indeed in the same situation, then perhaps sticking together may be our best option," the cyborg suggested, deciding that was a decent segway into his introduction. "And if that is the case, then an introduction is in order. I am Genji." His voice softened as he spoke and it was evident that he was being friendly. The last thing the cyborg wanted was to cause unnecessary problems with stranger when he was trying to make it easier for the both of them. Maybe he was being too soft given that the boy appeared young, but the cyborg knew he shouldn't take off alone in this situation even if he was more than capable of doing so. It wouldn't settle well leaving someone behind to fend for themselves.

      Makoto Niijima!!
xxxxfemale eighteen years old persona 5 tagged: 9s
      ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

Furrowing her brows at 9s's words, Makoto couldn't help but begin wondering if they came from completely different places. It was strange to hear that he had been up in space before coming to this place. From her knowledge there weren't many if anyone that was in space let alone someone who appeared to be around her own age. That only lead her to think of the possibility of him being from a different planet or even another dimension. Before she had begun dealing with the Metaverse she would have thought that other dimensions was an impossible thing, but ever since then the idea didn't seem so strange. Still it was a difficult thing for her to wrap her mind around despite how intellectual she was. Deciding not to focus too much on such a thing, the teen could at least tell one thing from the boy's initial response. He was friendly. He was even kind enough to offer an introduction although his name only raised more questions in her mind. Everything about this boy was such a mystery to her and as curious as she was to dive in and ask questions, she felt she was in no position to do such a thing nor would it be polite to inquire such things at a time like this. Keeping to the basics was for the better. It was in that moment that Makoto realized she had allowed herself to drift too deeply into thought. There was no doubt she was indirectly coming off as rude given her silence despite being asked several questions and given an introduction. Talk about embarrassing. There was no hiding it like she had done when she had been watching Ren and the others. She couldn't hide away behind a magazine or stick her nose in a book to pretend she hadn't been paying attention. Instead the sheepish smile was ever so present to the boy along with the embarrassed blush that dusted her cheeks. "That would be correct,"she finally answered, deciding not to offer an apology. She figured her expression was enough to show that she had caught herself in the act. "I was in my home back in Japan before I brought here. Going from the city to the middle of a forest certainly is a change."

Makoto was careful about giving her exact location away given that she wasn't completely certain whether or not with boy was from the same place as she was. As much as she leaned towards him not, it was best not to reveal where she was from in case he did somehow know about the Phantom Thieves. They had kept their identities hidden from the public and she had no plans of changing that. That meant keeping her real name hidden was a must too. She hated doing such a thing when 9S had shown her nothing but kindness, but it was for the best. Besides, it wasn't as if she was presenting him with lies. Her code name was very much something she went by although it wasn't the name she always went by. He didn't need to know that. At least not now. Maybe once she had concrete evidence that he would have no way of exposing her to the world, then she would tell him her real name. Pushing that thought aside, Makoto gave a small nod of her head at the question that had proceeded his introduction before finally speaking once more, "I believe sticking together would be our best course of action. And I am known as Queen." Surely such a name wouldn't come off as too odd given his own. Hopefully he wouldn't question it. The thought of being questioned made her slightly nervous and she shifted uncomfortably in her place. Luckily she was distracted by the next question he posed and her focus was drawn in to that. It was something she wasn't sure how to answer. To be entirely honest, she wasn't even sure where she was headed. Navigating a forest was something she had never done nor had she thought she'd ever need to do. Reaching up to rub the back of her neck, the teen let an embarrassed chuckle escape her lips. "Admittedly, I am not sure where I was heading. I followed that path to this place." As she spoke, she gestured toward one of the other paths that converged into the same clearing to indicate that it was the one she had come from. "Navigating forest isn't really a forte of mine, however, so I'm not sure which path is the best to follow. Maybe you would have a better idea of which would be best?"

Maybe he would be able to fill that role. It was something she hoped although she did not voice it. She knew it was better for her to follow than attempt to lead in this kind of situation. She always fit the support role far better anyways and that was proven by how her persona functioned as well. She was sure that alone she could easily keep the two of them in top shape with ease though she wondered if the boy was capable of any kind of combat that might help on the offensive front. Before she could think to ask though, he brought up yet another question. This time it was something directly related to her. Taking a few seconds to process the question, Makoto knew it was a difficult one for her to approach. How exactly did she go about explaining her thieves outfit? Saying it was a uniform didn't seem too far off although it might be better to describe it was a costume. "Oh, my outfit is, uh, well," she struggled to find the words. It was evident in her expression that it was difficult for her to explain as well. "It's a costume of sorts. My team all wears various costumes though they aren't matching like uniforms would be if that makes sense."

Luca [ 2 ] // Nero [ 2 ]

Postby Reiji » Wed Apr 01, 2020 8:22 am

      Luca Dragomir // Male // 17 // JJBA oc // tags; Genji
Luca was at first a bit disappointed to hear that it was true, it seems like the other person was more or less, in the same kind of trouble as Luca. Wondering a bit and considering the circumstances, Luca wondered if this was a different world of sorts. This could all still be the ability of a stand but he had begun to doubt it, despite knowing very well second-guessing himself in this kind of thing is dangerous. It just seemed too elaborate. Luca gave a smile to the other person nonetheless towards their greeting. They seemed friendly and to be honest, Luca didn't feel strange at all around him. He had a kind voice- he knew those types, even without making eye contacts. Rudely, he kept to himself and wondered if there was someone in there or if it was a robot. It's more curiosity than anything but it wasn't something that mattered right now. It would also be a strange question to ask. Perhaps later. When the stranger introduced himself as Genji, Luca remembered it immediately. Unlike his friend, Luca was good at remembering names- he had to remind the other boy his own name sometimes. It was Luca's turn now, it would be rude to make a long pause between introductions.

"My name's Luca, I'm sorry we couldn't have met in better circumstances." Luca giggled at his comment, hoping to lighten up the mood. His own introduction is usually never drawn out, he never considered himself interesting. By reading the situation, it's obvious they would be working together. Genji was right, after all. Sticking together was the best option, you never know what lurks ahead. Speaking of... Mulling it over, he wondered if he should bring up the question. Bringing his hand up to his mouth, he placed his thumb next to his lips. A nervous tick he had developed a few months ago when the group was attacked with a food-related stand. "Ah, this might be direct but I have to ask if we're going to travel together..." Luca explained himself, hoping Genji wouldn't suspect anything and break off this new lived companionship. "Do you have any ability of any sort? Just to be on the safe side." Luca said nervously, hoping it didn't seem like a pushy question to ask. He was alone so he had to take care of himself, even if it meant speaking out loud about things he usually never would. Luca can see that Genji has weapons but he knew that there's always more than meet the eyes. It's something you get used to, with time. Asking such a question directly won't be much use, people can lie but at least, Luca can hear it from their mouth. If it's a truth or a lie, he doesn't mind, he just wants to hear it.

      Nero // Male // 22 // Devil May Cry // tags; Phantasma
Nero's not big on hunting. Sure, he eats meat but when he eats them they're already dead. He kills more demons than he cares about but this is different, it's an animal and while sure, it's big, it's not evil by nature. From what he can see, the big momma is just protecting it's young. What do you call young boars anyway? Just when Nero thought that he had to separate a family to save his skin, the air around the forest changed. The trees began to rustle and a strange sound emitted from them. Nero squinted and looked around confused more than scared, he hesitated and was ready for an attack but at the same time, it was a bit of an absurd thing to abruptly happen. It had a different effect on the family of boars though. as they hightailed it after a while. Well, that's one way to do it. He's actually pretty glad unless it means a bigger threat- then, he heard the ringing of a child's laughter. A kid, who introduced themself as Phantasma, came trotting up with a smile. He got saved by a creepy child, huh? That's something new. "Well, you know my name, Phantasma." Nero wasn't about to undermine or underestimate Phantasma just because of their looks, he knew how it feels and wouldn't be such a hypocrite. He didn't really feel threatened, though. They just helped him, after all. "Nice trick, good job on you and your... ghosts on that. I appreciate it." Nero said, walking back slowly to the still silent griffin. Poor thing was scared out of its wits after that and was standing still like a statute, probably tired. "Give me a few seconds, will ya? Nero excused himself to harmlessly cut the thorny vines for the creature, who shook what it can off before screeching in celebration of it's newfound freedom, flying away as it left a trail of feathers. "What, no side quest rewards?" Nero waved his hand to blow off the feathers that were coming his way.

Red Queen's back in her place and one animal freed, Nero turned back to Phantasma. "So, you say we're in a different world from our own? Not really an ideal situation, I'll admit." Nero said to himself, feeling annoyed by the whole situation more than he already was. Just when he thought he could catch some break, this had to happen. Well then. "So, you wanna team up right? I usually work alone but hey, you did save me a decision that will make me feel like an assh-" Nero sneezed before he could finish his sentence, a stray tiny feather that still hasn't fallen to the ground yet. Thanks, gravity. "Also, I don't know how you know my name but considering you already told me that much, you're not so bad huh?" Nero shot a smile, happy that he got an ally. "You or your ghost pals have any idea where we should be heading?" Nero asked a question that he personally, has been wondering. Going around lost- god, he hated that idea. What if he walked in a circle like an idiot?

Clementine
//Female//17 years old//Bisexual//Fandom: TWDG//Tags: Open//
_______________________________________________________________________

Clementine shifted uncomfortably and blindly reached out for the threadbare blanket she always kept on her bed.
She tended to have awful nightmares and kick the blanket off in her sleep, which would explain why she was feeling a little chilly. When her hand landed on cold, soggy dirt, the near adult girl instantly woke up. She looked around blearily, already cursing at the fact that she was still bound to crutches. She didn't recognize the foggy landscape around her nor the worn cobblestone path the was laying on.
There were dim lanterns held up on wooden posts which suggested that there were people who tended to the path. Someone had to have snuck into the school...somehow, and drugged her. Oh, and A.J. She and the little guy shared a room and there was no way her tiny warrior would let someone kidnap her. Sighing, Clem sat up and noticed that her crutches were right beside her, as usual, and that she still had her trusty backpack. Said backpack was stained with both blood and dirt and though it was getting a little thin in some places, she estimated that it still has five or six months before she'll need to scavenge for a new one. Her crutches were nothing special, though, they were very dirty and almost completely held together with tape and metal screwed into the base.
Quietly, Clem pulled a 9mm out of her bag and holstered in on her waist. She secured the two knives onto her person as well and grabbed the shotgun she always carried. The other handgun, a revolver, she left in the backpack. While trying to keep her composure, the female slung her bag onto her shoulders and grabbed her crutches. She pushed herself up and after getting comfy, looked around for any signs of her pseudo-family. Unfortunately she didn't see anything that would suggest them being nearby. Shaking her head in disappointment, Clementine decided to focus on getting herself out, not searching for her family, who may not even be here.
She put the shotgun on a specially made sling on her back and grabbed the crutches. With her having to use crutches still, she couldn't hold a gun and move at the same time, which made a for bad combination in the apocalypse. Her amputation site was almost fully healed though, so she and the others were going to fit her for a prosthetic and then build one. She didn't know if that would happen at this point though.
It was unlucky really. For her to get whisked away on another, potentially life-threatening, adventure just before she could find a way to get around effectively. Well, hopefully there were no walkers in this forest. Maybe whoever lit the lanterns and kept the path clear would be responsible enough to have put a fence up or put the walkers down.

Phantasma || Nonbinary || 15 || Tags; Nero

Phantasma watched the man go over to a creature. Their eyes gleaming with curiosity seeing it was indeed a mythical creature, the griffin. Oh they'll enjoy being here a lot especially with their new well soon-to-be friend. Listening to the man talking for a bit until they were caught off from a sneeze. Save him from a decision? It took a few seconds to understand what he meant by that. "Well they know your name but probably more BUT! That's not important for now." Phantasma snickered then looked over at their shoulders looking at the two ghosts. "Let me ask them for the info of this place." Turning around they were facing both of them. "So any ideas?" The two of them were silent putting a hand on their mouths in thought gathering intel around them.

"Alright. Mellow it seems we are on an island that has varying types of biomes there are apparently natives here yet there are perhaps a few, though more could be appearing here, people here not from this world. Unfortunately we can't really find anyone near us. We were just lucky to detect this man." Phantasma gave a small nod on that. "Anything else?" Both ghosts shook their heads then the other let out a small 'oh!' "I forgot to mention we might have to be careful around here since there might be dangerous creatures lurking around. Though knowing you Phantasma... You aren't the type to be careful with these things." The kid stuck their tongue out at the ghost from that little jab. "That's a lie. But I do want to see them. Hm decisions, decisions." Phantasma muttered quietly to themselves. "There is a path that is near us. We'll guide you to it since the fog can be pretty dense, Mellow. Just don't lose the man." The ghost explained quietly. The kid crossed their arms making them hug their book thinking it out, go to the path or explore this new place? One is kind of boring while the other is exciting. "Mellow.." The ghost squinted at Phantasma which in return they let out a sigh of defeat uncrossing their arms. "Alright, alright. Show me--us the way to the path then."

Turning around they looked at Nero with a small smile. "Okay so here's the thing," Phantasma looked at their book fumbling a bit, still talking," We are definitely on an island. Pretty cool if you ask me. There are natives here also dangerous creatures too but don't think they'll show their face if we cross territories or maybe by bad luck encounter one. Adding on to that we aren't practically alone in this situation buuut there isn't anyone near us at the moment." The kid shrugged. "I can't really go out there myself looking for trouble since my ghostly partners don't trust me getting in danger so they found us a path to follow not too far from us." Phantasma muttered, finally done explaining all that stuff they might've left out some info but they didn't really bother with it. The ghosts took that as a cue to float over to their next destination with Phantasma behind. "Let's go, Nero!"

9S [03]

Postby Zaperrex » Thu Apr 02, 2020 6:11 am

    【YORHA UNIT 9S】
    【 MALE | ANDROID | NIER: AUTOMATA | TAGS: MAKOTO】

The dragging silence leaves 9S wondering if he's committed a social blunder by asking so many questions. Maybe he should apologize. He also caught that furrowed brow—did he say something odd? He looks to the side, feeling a tad awkward, and starts running through everything he said over again. Thankfully, as he's pondering these things, the girl finally begins to speak.

Japan? 9S tilts his head fractionally. Ja-pan... Doesn't mean anything to him. Could be an old world name. If so, there's a good chance that Pod 153 will have something about it in its internal database. He makes a note to ask it later. He's already loading up on more questions, but this time he decides to hold back before she really gets sick of him. Maybe later.

Having his proposal accepted sends a wave of relief through him. It's probably too soon to be missing 2B's presence, but he's grown far too used to having someone running around with him on missions or, well, whatever this is. 9S keeps a lid on his excitement and nods in acknowledgement. A very sensible choice and all that. Queen seems to be the sensible type. Not quite as cold or serious as the others he knows, but, it's almost like he attracts these girls, he jokes to himself. He doesn't think too hard on the name. The Resistance members he's met have all been named after plants, but he's not surprised that the pattern doesn't hold for someone who lives presumably far away from where he's deployed.

His eyes follow Queen's gesture to the converging paths. Frankly, his instinct is to go explore them all. But it's obviously not the time for that. Maybe some scanning from 153 will help determine their next step.

The first thing to come to mind when Queen mentions 'costume' are those clown machines from the amusement park. Not that he's calling her a clown! Her sleek look isn't that different from certain YoRHa uniforms, honestly. Maybe it's the mask that makes him think that. "Wow, do you guys make them yourselves? I've never worn anything that's not standard issue before. Sounds like fun."

They should get going though. Now, which path...? "Let's see if we can find anyone else. Pod, search for android signals."

"Search complete. No signals detected aside from unit 9S himself." Adam and Eve flash in his mind's eye. He freezes and takes a step back.

"Pod, search for machine signals," he demands quickly.

    "No signals detected."

"W-wait, what?" He takes a few more steps back, fighting the urge to go for his sword. "What are you?"

Ah - they were prep school kids. That explained the odd, overconfident behavior and supreme lack of intimidation; all things considered, that kind of attitude fit his impression of prep school to a T, though Negan had no way of knowing that theirs was quite distinctly unlike prep schools as he had known them. Wherever they came from, it seemed that one's heritage was very important - but, to him, all the names meant nothing. "Alright, alright; I don't need the whole family tree from each of you." He huffed, with a dismissive wave of his hand. "So you're not from this place, then?" He repeated, mildly impatient but leveling his annoyance due to having watched the girl who appeared to be the leader of the bunch materialize a scepter of some sort out of nothing more than a necklace charm. That apparent act of sheer magic probably should have startled him more, but considering he'd already woken up in the middle of nowhere on a medieval road in some creepy woods somewhere, it wasn't all that weird, comparatively. Though, it was probably better to be at least a little bit on guard. Obviously, normal rules and understanding didn't necessarily apply here, so who knew? Things could take a turn for the worse at a moment's notice (as they did back home, as well), and if it came down to it he would have to rely on brute strength in a fight. That had worked for him thus far, but he liked to avoid it where possible. It was much more pragmatic (not that Negan had ever been exceptionally given to pragmatism) to rally a group around himself and stabilize them. He didn't generally worry about his own survival, but a lot of advantages came from being a leader, particularly if you had a large enough group at your back.

Will was pulled out of his thought-trance very abruptly by the lively sounds of a person (or creature) leaping through the trees, eventually coming to land not too far from him on the riverbank. He was startled when it appeared to be a young girl, who seemed quite out of place in her environment but not put off by it. Despite her looks, Will could tell immediately that something wasn't right about her. Not only the way she had been leaping wildly through the trees from what he had seen, but also her lack of fear or even care about what was around. Obviously, she interpreted him as no threat. There was a possibility she was from here, which would perhaps make sense considering how odd and eerie this environment was - but that might have been even more dangerous of a possibility considering the complete unpredictability of this realm. Outwardly, Will betrayed no fear, but he lifted his guard. This girl wasn't normal, and there was no telling how far that could extend. "You were looking for a village?" Will asked, subtly trying to see if perhaps she had a particular location in mind. From the way she had phrased her dissatisfied statement, it seemed unlikely, but it was worth digging a little. As he spoke with her more, he would be able to glean some glimpse of her intentions. Perhaps she'd had much the same experience as him, simply showing up here without any obvious explanation; or, perhaps she simply wanted him to fall under the impression that she was in the same boat as he was, to better earn his trust. A childlike form would lend itself to the same sort of deception, though she wasn't going out of her way at all to act helpless - quite the opposite, in fact. That didn't necessarily mean she wasn't trying to trick him, though, just that she wasn't taking the most obvious route.

Jamari~ I turned my staff back into my stardust dragon necklace and put my necklace back on. “Yuki, Yukako and I just ended up here like you did.” I said to Negan. “If Matthew Phoenix is behind this he will so pay for this.” I said. I looked up at the stars and constellations again.

Yuki~ Yukako and I agreed with what Jamari had said. “Yuki and I have known Jamari since childhood, she didn’t mean to be a show off, she’s mad at Matthew Phoenix for sending Yuki, Jamari and I here, he’s been after us for a year, so Matthew Phoenix quite often will find ways to get rid of Jamari, Yukako and I.” I said to Negan. I know one of us will have to explain it.

Yukako~ “Jamari-chan only shows off if she’s mad, she’ll calm down in a bit.” I said to Negan. I didn’t like this Negan guy and didn’t trust him either. I wish we had Yuka-chan our healer with us, but we didn’t. I moved some of my hair out of my face and put it behind me. I sighed as I noticed Jamari-chan looking at the stars and constellations.
