Massie saddled Colby up with her favorite purpleblanket and halter.

Aspen's gelding shifted impatiently, tossing his head up. She kicked her feet from the stirrups and slid down, hoping to easy his anxiety. She glanced at Kirk, making small talk. She noticed another kid relaxing against the fence near them. "Hello," she said, fiddling with Nova's reins. -- Kirk slid his gaze towards the boy as well, offering a small nod before turning his attention to Tigo, who was trying to taste his shirt.

"I don't think I can get much more injured at this point." He looked over to Fitz again. "He's been fine on the ground, I mean other than his usual cocky behavior." He whistled for his horse. "I know it isn't Vin, but something is bothering him bad." Fitz took a tiny bunch of Carter's sleeve and pulled on it. Carter turned and patted him on the muzzle. "You wouldn't happen to have noticed anything have you?"

"No," said Meridith, scanning the arena. "I don't see anything that would really freak him out. Maybe we should try closing the barn door, see if that does him any good?"

Cassie turned in her saddle; Bailey had come back in. "No thanks, I think we're good," she said. "But you can jump a bit with us if your horse is still tacked." Jewel chomped the bit rather impatiently.

Mallery finished the jumps and hopped back on Duckie. She turned to Bailey. "Yeah, now." she answered I am about to fly over them. The started a curtesy circle at A and it took NO work to get Duckie to canter, as usual. She was a young, livley, mare with a lot of energy. Mallery fixed her eyes on the first jump and leaned into two-point. Duckie leaped over it, a bit unsteadily. Gotta remeber to kep my hands forward. thought Mallery. And my hands together. Cmon, Mallery. You really need to get this next one right. she told herself. Duckie launched herself over the the jump. Better. she thought. Mallery graudally got better each jump as her horse soared over the jumps. At the very end Duckie broke into a slow gallop but Mallert pulled her back down to a canter and stayed in control. "You may go." she told Cassie.

Massie pulled herself onto her horse's back. She snorted. "Aw hush up..."Massie smiled/murmured

Mallery glanced at Arena 1 as Massie began. "Hi!" she smiled.

Mallery glanced at Massie in Arena 1 as Cassie was about to jump "Hi!" she smiled to Massie.

Cassie waved to Massie ((lol)) and then focused back on riding. She gave Jewel squeeze and the pony lifted smoothly into a trot. Cassie turned her in a small circle and then asked her to canter, which Jewel did obligingly. They bounced through the in and out, then headed for the crossrails. Jewel flew over the first one and then decided to power-trot through the second, which Cassie wasn't ready for. She was jerked into an awkward post for a few strides then sternly pushed Jewel back into a canter. They circled back and did the crossrails again, this time smoothly and without a problem.
