Carter shrugged. "Anything to get this nut to stop." He grabbed up the slack of the reins in his hand and gave them a slight tug. "Thank you for all the help, see you around." Fitz perked his ears up and followed as Carter began to walk (or rather limp) out of the arena.

After giving Fitz a good brushing down and letting him back into his stall, Carter hung back up his bridle and threw the cover on his saddle. Vin found a cozy spot to lay down in and was watching his owner with a sleepy eye. Carter pulled out a catalog from his trunk and exited the tack room. Fitz was eating his hay, paying no attention to Carter when he passed by and left the barn. He found a nice shady spot and sat down to read.

Bailey sat and watched Mallery jump Duckie, he was smooth and gracefull. When Mallery was done Bailey said, "Good job Mallery."

Mallery could not help giggling a bit at Cassie and Jewel's fail to the first set of jumps. "That looked much better." Mallery called out.

She turned to hear Bailey's voice. "Thank you. You also looke beautiful galloping outside."

"Oh thanks. Jade kind of makes me look good sometimes." Bailey said smiling.

Carter flipped through the worn pages of the auction catalog until he came to the page with the bent corner. There was a leaping bay Warmblood, a flashy palomino pony, and a sorrel Quarter Horse, right below was a large pintaloosa mare. There was bright red circle from a marker and a few notes scribbled in the margin. An auction number was also clipped to the page along with a claim ticket. Carter pulled it out and stuffed it in his shirt pocket, then got up and headed back to the tack room. He came back out with a blue and gold halter and lead like Fitz's, but this one was a lot bigger. Carter looped it into the crook of his arm and headed for the trailer that was making it's way to the barn.

"Hey, thanks for driving her all the down here." Carter chatted with the driver for a moment as he opened the back doors of the trailer. "No problem Carter." The driver waited as Carter buckled and the halter and lead the towering mare out onto the grass. After a quick fare well and exchange of the claim tcket, the driver closed up his trailer and drove off. "Let's get you settled in now, shall we?" Carter smiled and patted the mare as they slowly walked to the stalls.

Personality:Very easy going, curious, and hardly ever spooks. She isn't the fastest horse, but she'll take care of her rider.

Color (fairly in depth): Bright Chestnut pintaloosa. On her right side there is an arrow shaped spot. She alo has four stockings and a blaze.
Conformation: Thick bodied. Her les are heavy feathered, and are very strong. She is 17hh.

Other: Carter purchased her from a Draft horse auction so he could use her for theraputic work. She loves having Vin around. Her opinion of Fitz though, it pretty neutral.

"Emm anyone feel like going for a ride with me?" Helena asked cheerfully. As a few head lifted towards her, she got excited to see Autumn again.

"I will!" exclaimed Mallery. "About an hour or so?" she asked Helena.

((Thanks! It's probably been a couple years since I've RPed a Draft character, this seems like a great chance to. ))

Fitz snorted as Carter unlatched the stall door. "Hush up." He gave Sky a pat. "You two are going to have to get along weather you like it or not." He lead the big mare out and tied her to a hitchrail. Already sitting our was his new draft saddle, and a stool. "The combination of a heavier saddle and you being giant makes for an annoying saddling you know..." Carter pulled the stool over the the mare's side and began tacking up Sky.

Vin followed Carter to the entrance of the arena. Carter peeked inside and saw some other riders practicing jumps. He recongnized Bailey and waved briefly before turning Sky around. He whistled for Vin to follow him as the headed off for a trail ride.
