Sun smiled as his mate stayed upbeat and productive through all the stress. "I just feel empty and hollow, like there is nothing inside of me. I feel nothing, just an emptiness. I just hope that I can get my body back." he sighed and laid down. Totem dug into the meat and savored it.

Okin lead the group, swooping through the trees. "There! I see it!" he yelled behind him and dove down, colliding with the confused beast. It slashed at the air and snarled ferociously, but Okin was stronger and Akuma came down as well, pinning it to the ground. The unusual red color of her father's markings really did make Akuma think he was a monster. She let a tear fall as she looked into her father's eyes, but instead met the gaze of a beast. "you're coming with us. Now!" Okin shouted and Akuma, Kisharu and Okin all lifted the Demon into the air. They finally caught sight of the cliff and landed, the creature still thrashing about madly. "Sun! You need to listen to me closely! I know what you must do, you must fight the Demon's spirit and defeat it! Gain dominance over it, show it who the real host is!" Okin shouted as the Demon tried to escape once more. Suntiger leap up and dashed to the Demon. He took a great leap and jumped into his body. The body gave a shutter and then the markings dimmed to a black color.

Sun opened his eyes to find himself standing in nothingness, facing the horrible Demon. "Who are you?" he asked calmly. "I don't have a name. I don't know who I am." the Demon responded. "But what I do know is that you have invaded my soul and you must be destroyed!" the Demon lunged at Suntiger and the two of them fought, slashing and biting each other. Sun landed on top of the beast and snarled. "This isn't your soul! It's MINE!" with a final blow to the neck, the Demon fell limp and unconscious. Sun began to swirl in circles, feeling dizzy. The nothingness began to turn black and Sun could feel his limbs again. He groaned as he realized that the Demon hadn't been gentle with his body. He sat up and looked around, his vision blurry. "Eliza? Where are you?" he whispered, wanting to embrace her once more.

(ok so now the Demon is dormant and won't bother Sun for a long time. However, the next time that Suntiger loses control to his rage again the Demon will gain control. Don't worry, Sun won't become a spirit again, just get pushed back by the Demon.)

Eliza, hearing Sun's voice in her ears and not her mind, said "Sun? Is it really you!?" She bounded over to her weakened mate and licked him affectionately. "Oh my gosh, that was horrifying! I thought I'd lost you," and she began to cry tears of joy. She nudged the meat that Totem was gorging himself in towards Sun, and in the process received a dirty look from Totem. "Here, eat," she whispered to Sun, glad to have him back. "Lutari and Okin, scout the area for any dangers of a good, enclosed resting place," she announced, authority filling her voice once more. "Akuma and Kish, go hunt. We'll need to eat up if were going to find a new home today." Lastly, she looked at Totem when all the others were gone and said quitely, "Why'd you come? And how'd you find us?"

(sorry ate my dinner with a friend!!!)

Totem shrugged off the loss of his food and sat down. "I was looking for Suntiger, you know just to reunite and check up on him for a bit and I happened upon Starlight as she was flying back to her new home. She told me which way you guys went and I just took off in that direction. I guess it was a good thing that I came. Gotta love life!" he chuckled and helped Sun stand up again.

Suntiger shook himself, the feeling of just being in a body was so wonderful he couldn't help but flap his wings a few times. "Oh Eliza! I was so scared that I'd never be able to hold you again!" he ran up and embraced her as usual folding his wings around her.

Eliza accepted the normal embrace, but it felt like more now. It felt like the first time again, when their hearts pumped as one. "Same goes for me," she whispered into his feathers. Her nuzzle tingled in his warmth, and she embraced it. She broke out of his grip, and gazed into his deep, amber eyes. "I missed you," she murmured.

"I missed you so very much as well. Without you, I could've survive, my heart would die." he ruffled her fur and laid down with a thump, his body exhausted from all the excitement. "I will always find a way to come back to you my love." he cooed to her.

Akuma spotted a buck and pounced, killing the creature with one shot. she dragged it back to the cliff and waited, ready to dig in.

Okin found a large rabbit and brought it back as well. When he returned he walked up to Sun and nuzzled him. "It's good to have you back dad." he said shyly. He took off once more leaving the kill behind and scanned the area for a good place to live.

Lutari wasn't having any success and let out an exasperated snort as he continued to look.

"As with me," responded Eliza, lying next to her mate.

Kisharu shook his head, as no shelter suitable shelters were showing. "Where can we shelter? There's no good places, Lutari! Should we just head back?" As he turned back to head home, he sighed. "COME ON!" He called back to his brother. "WE'LL TELL THEM WE HAD NO LUCK!"

( ok so here it is, but the fortress is in ruins now, there are no red flags or any signs of human life other than the structures themselves.)

Lutari turned to Kisharu and sighed. "Yeah, we had better tell them." he began to walk back ready to move on to another spot.

Sun looked up as the two walked into camp, their looks ones of crestfallen pups. "No luck?" he asked them gently and nuzzled them both. "It's alright, we will move on as soon as Okin returns." A call came from far away and Suntiger's ears perked at the sound. "That's Okin! Lets go everyone!" he took off and headed in the direction of the sound. He flew up to Okin as the Demon let out one last scree and looked around. "Sun, I have found a suitable place for us to live from now on. It is hidden underground and has a sturdy structure inside that will provide protection from enemies. Also is has sunlight coming through holes in the ceiling and a large tree growing with fruits on it. Follow me!" Okin dove down and hurtled into the cave. Sun's breath caught short as he looked at the amazing place. "This is perfect! Good job Okin!" he patted the Demon on the back and stood proudly looking out at his family's new home.

Eliza followed the party, and when she saw the house, she was amazed. "Okin, how did you know about this place?! It's perfect!" She nuzzled her new pup, proud of him. "Thank you, Okin." She bowed in respect.
