Layla frowned and looked dejectedly at the ground, she sighed.

Dane patted her back, "It's okay."

Sam looked him over, "It's very nice to meet you Cole."

"Spike, do you have a problem with me being here? If you do just say so," Carmilla glared over her shoulder as she could feel her muscles tense up.

"What? No, love.. I don't.. I'm fine with it." Replied Spike calmly with his blue eyes seeming to follow Layla's rejected looking figure. "Bloody hell, whats her problem.." Mumbled Spike to himself.

Cole smirked softly, "Well it's very nice to meet you too."

Layla sighed, "I wanted a friend, that lived here. I wanted a reason to stay here because I always hate moving. After I ran away from home....everything has gone downhill..."

Dane looked confused, "Why'd you run away?"

Layla sighed, "My father killed my mom and little sister, he killed himself later..."

Dane's eyes softened, "Oh..."

Sam smiled, "I know, what kind of vampire are you? You sure as hell don't look scary." she teased.

Carmilla smirked in laughter as she heard Spike speak. "Is she a friend of your's?" she asked, leaning against the window sill in a calm, amused manner. Carmilla turned her head as she heard a lot of chatter outside around the house, "Do you know these people?" she asked with a scowl as she was getting a little annoyed.

"The answer to both of those questions; Bloody living hell, no!" Replied Spike shaking his head.

"Do you want me to look scary?" Replied Cole as he leaned back against a building wall and shifted into his vampire form, the white around his eyes turning completely yellow and his pupils slightly dislating as he glanced around.

Sam blinked, "Okay, I gave that a two. Now let me see you human face so I can give it a ten." she chuckled.

Dane put his arm around her, "Let's go."

Layla sniffed, "Okay."

"A two, really?" Chuckled Cole as he went back into his human form. "God, Spike looks the exact same way and he can make people jump out of their skin." Chuckled Cole.

Sam smiled, "Okay I lied, it should have got a nine and a half but I'm full of myself today." she chuckled and saw two people.

Layla walked silently beside Dane.

Dane walked silently but sniffed, he scent two vampires above him.

"I haven't had a drop of blood in a while.. Why don't you take the male and I'll toy with the female." Mumbled Cole in amusement as he rose to his height.
