Charlotte slowly begins to change back to normal. Her fur disappears and her claws become normal human finger nails. Her face returns to normal and her sharp, deadly fangs turn to normal teeth.

"The only person that's gonna get hurt is YOU. If you stay, that is," Nyssa replies. She hadn't told the whole truth. Lucian and Charlotte would probably get hurt too, but Brenden didn't need to know that.
