Douglas woke up with a jolt, tears rolling down his cheeks. He looked down and noticed the teddy bear in his arms, suddenly hugging it with a tight grip. "The nightmare wasn't real, the nightmare wasn't real..." He told himself as he thought about his dream. A golden bear showed him a horrible image, which was of him murdering orphans. Douglas once killed kids, sure, but orphans? Their grief was already low, and the worse part of this dream was he heard the screams of the children. It was a lot, but it all meant something, right?

He nodded at the boy, and accepted the small gift.
"Thank you!" He said, smiling.
It had been a while since he connected to a kid his age, but it was a nice feeling.

Jayden smiled as he added "My plushies protect you from nightmares, you know. They're that special.". That was true; the plushies become creatures inside of the owner's dreams to protect them from spirits, just like William. If they are made well enough, however, they can become beasts outside of the dream realm and into real life, and Jayden had a few of those back at his home.

Samuel Jones ~ 22 ~ Security/night guard ~ Location: hospital room ~ Tags: nurse

Samuel shot up from his bed, his heart racing. Was what he just dreamt real? He looked at his arm, noticing the tubes attached to them, He ripped them off, and as he was getting out of bed, he noticed a purple note. It read "see you soon, Sammy!" All he wanted to do was vomit at that point.
so what I dreamt was real? I made a deal with a crazy person?
Ar that point, he rushed out of the hospital room and down the halls.

"Excuse me sir? You should be in your-"
"SHUT UP." he said firmly. Before she could call security, he ran out the hospital doors and hid in a nearby alley.
