killer yet.". William paused, stopping to face Samuel. "I forgot to introduce myself! So sorry about that, Sammy," He exclaimed, reaching out his hand so Samuel could shake it. "My name is William, and you've received a special visit from me~.",

He looked at the young boy, confused.
"He was really nice to me, though? I thought he's nice to everyone? He gave me this plushie." He said curiously, showing his slightly dirty Raccoon plushie, then brought it back to himself, waiting for a reply.
What does he mean by 'reverted? he thought to himself, confused.

Jayden paused, realizing what he said to Rain. He coughed awkwardly, telling him "That's just what my mom told me. Sometimes she says weird things.". He didn't want to blow his cover, especially if Rain realized that Kathyrnn used to be a part of the Glitch Cult just because of what he said.

He nodded, acknowledging what he said. That answer just prevoked his curiousity, though. He wanted to know what he meant by 'reverted', but he knew asking further could get him hurt.

William chuckled as he retracted his hand. "Tsk, tsk, Sammy! You should already know why I know him," He told Samuel. "But, if you really don't know, they why don't you ask your memories for help?". In a flash, an image of the bloody locker showed up and then disappeared when Samuel analyzed it. "Douglas was a part of my wonderful vision, along with Mr. Dot, Mr. Bishop, Mr. Valentine, and Mr. Miller. But, alas, something stopped him. I don't know what, but I want you to tell me what happened." William's voice became a little serious towards the end of his sentence.

A few moments of silence passed before he asked Rain, "You like plushies, right? Would you like another?". He pulled out another plush, a black teddy bear with a yellow tophat and bowtie, and held it out for Jayden to see. "I make these plushies myself, and I put my own love into them. That's what makes them special!". Jayden clearly lied about how special the plushies were, since they hid a secret that no one would suspect.

Samuel saw the memory of the locker flash before his eyes. It was all coming back to him.

"I-i saw something in there aside from the blood..." he whispered. "there... were ... 3 people in there. 2 kids, one adult. It looked like they had been there for a while but..." he started to cry

"Why are you here?"

"Why?" William seemed in disbelief by Samuel's answer, but shook it off with a chuckle. "Sammy, I want you to join me," He explained. "You can be like Douglas, or even me: immortal. You see, children and some adults possess a special ingredient in everlasting life, which I call 'remnant'. You take the remnant, infuse it into your body, and then you have expanded your life by thirty years! It's a beautiful thing, indeed, but to murder for it? Sammy, it's a small price to pay for a new life.".
