Sleep had not quite released Hunter from its grip. She slumped in her seat, hand on her cheek as her left hand scribbled over a black white page. She wasn't drawing much but a pretty design, and one ear listening to her teacher. Hunti was a good student, and she would probably catch on to whatever she was supposed to be learning later. As for now, she died for some coffee. Oh, how good a caramel frappe with whip from Starbucks sounded right now. Side-tracked, she chewed on the string of her necklace, which was a black bow tie. She pushed her black and blonde bangs from her face and sighed, pushing back from her desk into her chair.

Avalon looked around. Then saw Damien. She used her head to motion him over, then switched spots with Elysa so that she could have a turn at hitting the volleyball. She looked around, seeing about five people on the other side. Then she saw this one kid. Who reminded her of a boy she once knew... But she shook it off. Her past was for her and her only. She looked around again, waiting for the game to continue playing out.
