Andi Maria Stewart
A old digital clock beeped at 8:00 am. The loud buzzing went piercing through the silent room.
A moan rose from the king size bed, then an arm came out from under the blankets. It slammed down on the clock, pressing down on the SNOOZE button. "5 more minutes!!" shouted a girl's voice, muffled by the blanket. As she pulled the blanket over her head, heavy footsteps came towards the door. She lied in the bed and expected the door to squeak open, footsteps to get closer to the bed, and then the blankets were ripped off of her. Sadly, this did not happen. The usaul wake up calls were out for the day, leaving hours before.
Andi smiled. Sitting up in the bed, she remembered the day's her cousin, Charlie or Cole would come into the room and wake her up. Charlie's sweet, soothing voice, or Cole's drill sergent commands screaming, 'Get up, Sunshine', into Andi's face. Andi's repsonse, depending on if it was Cole or Charlie, was usaully a slap to their face or her listening. When that would happen, she would get a threaten from them as they left the room.
When Andi's memories of old mornings faded from her mind, she shot up out of the bed. Rushing to the bathroom, she took a shower and got ready. She went back to her room with a purple towel wrapped around her; wet, black hair dipped water on to her back. Closing and locking her bedroom door, Andi grabbed her black tank top. Then put on her black fitted Escape the Fate tee. She then dug around in the closet and pulled out her dark-grey, worn Extreme Skinnies. When she wore them, it looked as if they were painted on her.
Before leaving her room, she 'checked herself out' in the mirror on her door; to make sure everything was almost perfect. She unlocked her door and went back to the bathroom. First she fixed her straight, black razor cut hair. She then opened a cabinet and grabbed her makeup bag. When Andi got back to her room she put on her makeup: black mascara, black eyeliner, and last clear-pink lipstick. It hadn't taken her long to get ready. Grabbing her black cropped Army-jacket; it completed her look. "Great. Wonder what could happen today" she said in her smooth, Australian accent as she left the room.
Feeling as though she was later for something, Andi rushed outside. She moved here 4 years ago, but still wasn’t use to the time change. Stopping at the porch, she pulled out her MP3 player and began listening to her music. Not many people enjoyed being around her and she felt the same to them. With the spin of her thumb several times around, she turned up her music, and waited until she spotted someone.
