Chance sat up. The blue eyed boy had fallen asleep...Again. His puppy Cain has been barking all through the night lately, and no one has gotten any sleep. Chance swung his legs off the couch, and turned off the t.v. Suddenly the barking picked up again, and Chance groaned. He loved his dog. He really did. But the lab was getting to be very annoying, and Chance needed a break. "Mom, I'm going out." He called before shutting the front door. The black Alero in the driveway used to be his grandfathers, who had recently bought a new car. It had been handed down to Chance, which was a surprise to the then 16 year old. Chance got in the divers side, and pulled out of the driveway. The Park sounds nice. He thought cheerfully. When he arrived, he got out and started walking.

Laney jumped around her dog Casey. "Come on Casey, you can get it!" She said in a baby voice to the dog. Casey just barked, and lunged for the toy in Laneys hand. The dogs jaws wrapped around the stuffed elephant in the girls hand, and was yanked from her grip. The Shiba Inu triumphantly walked a few feet away, head high. Laney laughed, as he layed down and chewed on the elephants ear. That was Casey's favorite toy, and it was old and worn.

(They're in the park, by the way!)

Diablo jumped over the fence of his porch and smiled as his guitar thumped his hip. He walked to her side and smiled softly ''im comin, im comin'' he laughed

Arianna saw a guy (Chance) running toward the park. She decided to be friendly today and say hi. So she walked up to him and said, "Hi, I'm Arianna." She thought of how she sounded like such a weirdo and worried that the kid would get creeped out and walk away. Well it was worth aa try.

"Hi." Chance said, a little surprised this girl randomly was talking to him. "I'm Chance." He said kindly.

"Hi......" Arianna replyed. Wow1 You start a conversation and don't know where to go after that. she thought.

Chance smiled. This girl didn't seem to know how to talk. "Whats your name?" Chance encouraged.

[Sapphy.]

Sapphire looked at her dog as she drove, and smiled. "Sweet Girl." She said happily, and petted Lassie. She got off the car and slammed the door shut, Lassie following. "In the mood for a run?" Sapphire asked Lassie with a smile and pulled out Lassie's leash from her shabby jean and hooked it up to Lassie's leash. She spotted two kids from school (Chance and Arianna) and walked up to them, Lassie barking happily, and her tail wagging furiously. "Hi guys, I'm Saph, I don't know if your guys remember me from school...?" She sounded so stupid, even Lassie shook her head in dissappointment, which freaked Sapphire out a bit. But hey? She was wacky that way.-

CHance looked up. "Sorry, I dont think I do. I'm Chance, by the way." He said to the girl. Maybe she DID look a little familiar...

Casey heard another dog, and looked up. He got up and ran over to the other dog, (Lassie) and set down his elephant with a soft bark. "Casey! Dont run off like that!" Laney criticized "Sorry, He's really hyper. Laney ran her fingers through her black hair.

[Sapphy.]

"S'ok. Nice to Meet you. This is Lassie by the way." She said, and Lass seemed to give a brilliant smile to both Casey and the humans.-
