Thor || New York City || Tag: Loki & Jormungandr

    Thor’s gaze returned to his brother’s. He enjoyed the embrace, something he hadn’t thought he would.
    “Perhaps I can forgive you and not myself because I can control my actions, but I cannot control yours.”
    Thor paused, considering his words.
    “I doubt my judgment makes any sense. It’s just, you’ve always been the bad guy and I’ve always been the good. You cause the mischief, and I follow you around and correct it.”
    Thor’s eye narrowed. The soft creak of the door echoed through the room, louder then it originally was. Loki was shifting the blame onto himself, wasn’t he?
    Thor almost agreed with him, Loki could’ve prevented everything. But, Thanos likely would’ve found another way. Another way to cause chaos and pain.
    Why was his brother so complicated? Off and on, one day they would team up to fight the enemy and the next Loki was standing right beside them.
    Thor was never so emotional back then. He hadn’t realized it, but his brother’s response, Loki’s attempt at comfort, really dissolved the barrier keeping the realization from hitting him.
    “Loki, if we keep this up we will continue to pass the blame around as if it was a game of catch.”
    Thor leaned back in his chair, forcing a little smile.
    “So, brother, how are ‘Earth’s Mightest Heroes’ doing?” Thor asked in a attempt to change the subject. “How are your kids?”

Sleipnir || Jotun || Chaotic Nuetral || Alleigned - ??? || Equine - human form|| HYDRA Holding || Oliver

Sleipnir doesn't move at first when Oliver grabs his arm and attaches the bracelet. Thought when it hums to life in attempts to work, Sleipnir does twitch quite a bit, with a pitiful noise escaping him, fingers curling and kicking faintly in attempts to move. But he gives in to stillness not long after, breathing a bit more harsh at the moment, even with the visible marks under his eyes are glowing ever so faintly. He doesn't have enough seidr or strength to shift his form.

Jormungandr || Asguardian/Jotun || Nuetral || No allience || Reptilian - Human form|| New York streets || Loki & thor

jormungandr looks at Loki when touched, tongue flickering out a bit before once more looking between the two. Of course he's confused and a little uncomfortable. But this is technically his uncle so he's not going to say anything. Not like he can, deaf and mute. The most that would come out of him was some hissing or squealing at most really. Thought at the mention of 'kids' jormungandr knows that this is directed at him a bit, so he lifts a hand to wave. Even if his direction is just slightly shifted to one side and thus not turned to thor fully. He still tried to say hi at least.

Loki Odinson
Location: Coffee Shop | Tags: Thor and Jormungandr (direct) Sleipnir and Fenrir (in mention)

Loki didn't allow the hurt to show on his face, but being described as having always been 'the bad guy' did graze his mood slightly. Was that really what Thor thought of him? He pressed his lips into a thin line and said nothing about it. Now wasn't really the time to pull up old grievances. Thor had always had a difficult time reading him. It wasn't as if misunderstandings between them were new, and Loki could hardly claim to understand Thor any better. There was a moment of uncomfortable silence between them in which the noises of the shop and the city beyond sounded especially loud to Loki's ears. He couldn't tell if Thor was about to agree with him or not, about shifting the blame, but he was rather pleasantly surprised when Thor did not take the bait. His brother was right. They could toss the blame around all that they liked, but it didn't really change that fact that everything had already happened, and there was no changing any of it.

When Thor asked about ‘Earth’s Mightest Heroes’ and Loki's kids, the trickster was happy for the subject change.
"I haven't had any contact with any of your Midgardian friends for years, though this is the reason for their lack of interest in my personal life." He said, holding up his wrist and bringing attention to the thin silver band that encircled it. "It tracks my whereabouts. I wear it and in return they've given me their word that they won't bother me anymore." He explained with only trace hints of bitterness in his tone. He would prefer not to wear the silly thing, but he liked the idea of Thor's friends knocking on his door every few days to check that he wasn't up to anything malicious even less.

"As for my children, Jormungandr is well." Loki said with a slight nod toward his son. "Sleipnir and Fenrir are... not. Some Midgardian thugs abducted Sleipnir some years ago, and I have yet to find him. I have no idea where my eldest is being kept. Fenrir knows, but he won't tell me. In fact, he's struck an alliance of some sort with those who took Sleipnir from me and helped them to accomplish it." He explained to Thor. Why did their families always have to be such a mess? "Fenrir absolutely despises me. He blames me for what father did to him, and now he's taking it out on not only me, but on Sleipnir. I just... I really don't know..." He abruptly stopped talking, having realized that he was rambling and that his normally safely guarded emotions were flooding out of him in droves. It had just felt like a relief to vent for a moment, having no one else to really vent to. Thor didn't need to be burdened with his brother's problems, though. Loki knew that. Thor had his own problems to attend to.

Oliver Doyle
Location: Hydra Base | Tags: Sleipnir

Oliver took a few steps back, admiring the way in which the devise hummed to life. Well, it was clearly doing something. Whether it was stopping Sleipnir from shifting, or if the creature's weakened state was the culprit for the lack of change, Oliver couldn't really tell. There was something quite thrilling about using what could actually be qualified as magic, though. There was also some sick satisfaction in using what 'magic' they'd taken from Loki to control Sleipnir. Oliver had really hoped that he would get a definitive answer on whether or not the new devise was working, but he could be patient when he wanted to.

Thor || New York City || Tag: Loki & Jormungandr

    Thor’s smile became more genuine. Ignoring what Loki has said about Thor’s allies, he because excited with thoughts of a new mission.
    “You know what, I’m going to help you find Sleipnir. How hard could it be? If a mere Mortal had taken him, that isn’t a issue. I’ve fought aliens brother, the size of buildings! Once we find the ‘super secret base’ I’ll swing my hammer, you, uh, do whatever you do and day is saved.”
    Thor looked at Loki’s wrist.
    “And if that’s an issue, we’ll just take it off and attach it to a bird or a dog. They could just track that...”
    Thor’s smile faded along with his words. He wasn’t wearing that bracelet during the Thanos incident.
    No, maybe Loki was given one before he left Midgard.
    I would’ve noticed it. Somebody would’ve noticed it. Do Mortal trackers even work off planet?
    “You lied to make me feel better, didn’t you? How long have you had that bracelet on? Since the reverse snap? Before that?”
    Thor leaned back in his chair and stared at the ground.
    “Wow, the Avengers knew your very own brother wasn’t dead before you could’ve figured it out.” Thor whispered aloud to himself.

Loki smiled slightly. And there was the Thor that he'd known. Always eager to save the day. Always absolutely confident in his own abilities to do so.
"You have a new hammer?" He blurted in surprise, actually beginning to feel quite confident about their chances against Hydra, the mortals who'd taken Sleipnir. With Thor's help, how hard could it be? Loki absolutely could not imagine Thor losing against the likes of Oliver, and Thor might've been one of few capable of taking on Fenrir. Between himself, Thor, and Jormungandr, they would surely be able to free Sleipnir. Loki's smile grew more genuine, even laughing softly at Thor's idea of simply attaching the bracelet to one of Midgard's animals and allowing Shield to track that. Imagining Fury's face if the mortal ever found out made the whole idea even more appealing. When Loki noticed that Thor's smile had faded, however, Loki frowned a bit. What? What had caused Thor's mood to shift? Oh. The accusation caused Loki to inwardly wince. Being caught within a lie was never fun. "The one called 'Fury' knows..." He admitted hesitantly. "But not many others do, or at least not that I'm aware of. That I promise you." Loki added as he forced his eyes to meet with Thor's again, to hopefully assure his brother that he was not lying. A difficult task, considering his track record when it came to telling the truth. "I've been wearing this for five years."

Thor || New York City || Tag: Loki & Jormungandr

    Thor knew very well that SHIELD agent would not have kept Loki’s return to himself. Especially considering their affiliations in the past.
    He wanted to speak of his newfound Stormbreaker to his brother, but the lie made him hold his tongue. Thor found his anger lifting off of his brother and hovering over Fury. If Fury had just let Thor know his brother was under SHIELD’s radar, so much could’ve been prevented. Perhaps Thor’s emotional swings wouldn’t have been so bad if Thor just had Loki and Jormungandr’s emotional support. Perhaps Thor wouldn’t have spent the past years blaming himself for Thano’s destruction and all of the now deceased just because Thor hadn’t aimed for the head.
    “But they should’ve notified me. I could survey you, I’ve been doing it my whole life. I would’ve stayed on Midgard. I could’ve protected Sleipnir,” Thor’s volume had risen, alarming the nearby humans even further.
    Thor felt his anger being fueled by Fury’s negligence further.
    He stood up and transformed out of his Midgardian disguise and into his Asgardian.
    “My brother, my nephew, let us go pick out a creature and strap that bracelet and whatever other Mortal technology that man had forced onto you. I’m ready to go kick...” Thor paused and his eyes narrowed.
    “Who exactly will we be fighting?”

As Thor's voice began to rise, Loki was fully prepared to do some damage control and try to convince his brother that this wasn't his fault. He really didn't want any of Thor's anger to be focused on himself or Jormungandr. However, he apparently needn't have worried, as it quickly became apparent that Thor was more angry with Fury than he was with Loki. And that was perfectly fine with the trickster. Actually, Thor's anger seemed to be something that Loki could work with and use to his own benefit. He could really use Thor within his life right now, and it seemed that Thor needed his support and companionship, as well. Thor probably could've protected Sleipnir, and Loki probably could've kept Thor from spiraling into a depression. Loki glanced around at the coffee shop patrons, many of which were alarmed, but that was really of no concern to him. He also stood and changed his appearance, his clothing shimmering with chartreuse light as it shifted from it's Midgardian facade and into leather and metal.
"Hydra." Loki replied. "They call themselves Hydra." And oh how eager Loki was to see them burn. "We also might have a way to find them. I've just learned that Fenrir frequents this coffee shop, though he also frequently confronts Jormungandr and I when we're out looking for Sleipnir. We had been planning on trying to follow him, hoping that he might lead us to where Sleipnir is being kept."

Jormungandr || Asguardian/Jotun || Nuetral || No allience || Reptilian - Human form|| New york streets - coffee shop || Loki & thor - Fenrir (indirect)

jormungandr is tense when thor started shouting, hissing a tiny bit bu it seems to calm when loki speaks. The shouting isn't directed at them. His blind gaze flickering between the two, tongue flickering a bit and unseen heat pits flaring a bit at the use of seidr and how it alters loki's appearance once more. Is... He supposed to do that too? No, a giant snake in a coffee shop would be a bad idea, so he'll remain in his human guise.

Fenrir || Asgardian || Chaotic evil || Hydra || human || New york streets - coffee shop ||Loki, thor, jormunangr - all indirect

Finding a vet that specializes in horses is more difficult then he thought. Oliver isn't going to be happy at all. He'll need to travel further outside the city to find one. He'll do that soon. For now he has a trip to make. Like a schedule/ritual. Its almost four after all. So he heads for the coffee shop. hought he pauses when he could see the front window. The glittering of chartreuse seidr. Of course. Loki. So he'll adjust his scarf to keep half his face covered and his hood up to cover the rest. His own orange-red seidr casted to turn bright blue eyes a muddy brown and moving to head in with his head down. Don't interact, don't interact.

But then something else catches his attention. Makes his hackles raise just as he reachs the door and hand been reaching to open it. Uncle Thor. Right there infront of loki. He draws back quickly, hands returning to his pockets and turning on his heels, moving quickly to duck into the alleyway and press against the wall. Did they see him? No, he doesn't think so. thus can't be good.

Thor || New York City || Tag: Loki & Jormungandr

    Thor sighed before sitting back down.
    “I had expected something a little more action packed,” he muttered. Thor supposed the mission depended on his companions, and his brother wasn’t exactly the head on type.
    Thor opened his mouth to continue rambling when something made the hairs on the back of Thor’s neck stand on end. His head shot around so he could survey the shop’s front window. It was the supposed source, but he came to no avail to the cause.
    “Did you sense that?” He finally asked Loki and Jormungandr after a long pause.

Loki raised an eyebrow at Thor.
"Trust me. Fenrir will give you quite the fight if that's what you want." He said, his own arm scarred from a previous fight between himself and his son. Jormungandr had been overpowered by the giant wolf, as well. Fenrir really wasn't anyone to be underestimated. And speaking of which, Loki's senses suddenly flared. His surrounding seidr was picking up on another shifter's presence, and who else could that be? He looked at Thor, noticing that his brother appeared to have sensed it, as well. "Yes, I did." He responded. With a twist of his hand, Loki sent his seidr further outward, tendrils of magic reaching beyond the shop's walls and searching. "The time... I'd lost track of time. He comes here around four everyday. He should be here." Loki inwardly kicked himself. Fenrir probably saw them and left. Loki looked to Jormungandr, silently communicating with him. 'Has his scent grown stronger? Is he still near?' He asked.
