Oliver scoffed, but didn't comment. Even if he was capable of feeling attraction, which he was not, he certainly didn't think that he'd have felt it for Evelyn. With a glare on his face, he watched as Evelyn turned toward Sleipnir's cell. "You say that you're not stupid enough to try anything, but I really don't trust that you aren't. All pretenses aside, I know that you used to care about Loki. In a way, I think that you still do, and I'm not dumb enough to leave you alone with that alien runt's offspring." He said with a sneer, deciding to lean against the wall as Evelyn began to sing. He didn't feel anything at first, though the song was admittedly beautiful. The longer that he remained there, however, a warm feeling began to seep into his senses. It wasn't... unpleasant. Actually, it felt quite nice. Like his mother's soft embrace, drying his tears with her sleeve after his father's abuse, and offering him a rare scrap of affection within her comforting arms. Stop. Oliver fought it. His mind practically shoved the warmth away. Thin tendrils still managed to cling, but he fought for control against those, as well.

Loki gave Fenrir a slightly disapproving look, though it softened at the memories his words brought forth. "He really was awful to that poor creature at times." He mused with a shake of his head. Loki had sometimes felt bad for the poor thing, though he really hadn't blamed Sleipnir for his jealousy, either. Loki had been allowed to spent time with his horse, and forbidden from spending time with Sleipnir. It had been a unfortunate situation for everyone involved. As they moved into the lobby and headed for the elevators, Loki kept on eye on Fenrir, noticing the way in which he was eyeing the girl. As much as he cared about Fenrir and as much as he wanted to trust him, Loki knew to be wary. Fenrir was powerful, and often times violent. He did not yet know how much of Fenrir's violence could be blamed entirely on Hydra, and how much of it was Fenrir's own workings. When the girl offered to take the stairs, Loki gave her a smirk. "You're welcome to take the stairs if you'd like to. I have the top floors." He replied rather innocently, though he snickered when one of the the elevator doors opened with a pleasant chime.
Heading inside, Loki blinked at Thor when he leaned in to ask if there would be enough room for everyone within the apartment. "There should be. It certainly isn't Asgard, but I haven't been living like a peasant, brother." Loki replied with a roll of his eyes, though it was in good nature. Once everyone was inside the elevator, Loki sent his magic to press the buttons for him, and they began to ascend. Once at the top floor, he elevator door opened to a short hall and a door with his apartment's number on it. Loki swiped his key at the door and pushed it open. Having learned how to fake Midgardian currency, Loki and Jorumungandr's apartment was quite literally one of the best within the city. The place was relatively large and luxurious. There were several relics saved from Asgard decorating the space, light from the home's floor to ceiling windows shining upon them. "Make yourselves comfortable, but refrain from touching anything that might appear fragile." Loki said, primarily to Thor, as he led Fenrir of to a black leather sofa.

Carter Eilian
Location: Streets of New York | Tags: open
Life after Thanos was proving to be... interesting. Carter had been one of those 'purged' from the world when the Titan had attacked, and returning to a world still reeling from the events of the past few years, well, things were different. Shield was different. Returning to work as a field agent felt normal, at least until it didn't. Everyone treated him and others who had 'dusted' differently, and he hated it. He'd 'woken up' only to realize that he'd lost friends who weren't coming back, and who'd likely died thinking that they'd see him on the other side only for... He needed a break. So, when Fury gave him a day off, he gladly took it and decided to enjoy his free time out in the city. He decided to head to Central Park. He couldn't even remember the last time he'd done that.
