      Ren Amamiya!!
xxxxmale seventeen years old persona 5 tagged: eddie / venom
      ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

Smirking slightly at the compliment the other tossed his way, Ren gave a small shake of his head. Everything he had done had been out of habit more than anything. After months of doing the same thing in palaces, it was only natural for him to try and seek the best path all while watching his teammate's backs. In return, they usually did the same for him. In this situation he wasn't sure he could rely on that though. Despite is new companion being cooperative at the moment, he didn't know how long that would last or if it would last at all. For now, he'd at least watch the other's back and keep mind on his own as well. "It only comes naturally. I wouldn't be much of a thief if I didn't know how to scout out an area," he remarked, not realizing what he had said. For someone who had been doing his best to avoid mentioning that he was a thief, he had so nonchalantly let it slip. Maybe the other wouldn't mention it. Pushing it aside, he gave a small nod at the words that had been spoken. It was clear that he would need to be the one to worry more about supplies than Venom. There was no way he was going to survive without food and water. He doubted fresh meat alone would suffice him especially if it was raw. It was clear the other could simply kill and eat whatever he desired while the thief knew his stomach wouldn't be able to handle such a thing. It wasn't that he was overly picky, but his diet definitely was going to be different than his companion. "Right, I'll need more than that. Basic human necessities at least," he stated. Even with bare minimums he was sure he would fine that was assuming they weren't trapped in this place for all too long. He was already worried that there wouldn't be enough supplies as is. That would be especially true if there were others around and they needed to share whatever supplies had been left around this place. "Checking buildings along the main road should suffice for searching. You'd think there were once stores or anything of the like along it so maybe there are things still in them that we can take." That was what he hopped at least. It was hard to say if any of the foods that would be left behind would even be any good though. That was a thought he didn't need to have right now though.

Brushing it aside, Ren began moving towards the road that he had spotted. Stopping for a brief second at the wall that blocked him from continuing to it, the thief quickly and efficiently pulled him up onto. It wasn't a high wall by any means, not like his preach from the second floor before, but it was still a minor road block that he needed to get over. Jumping down on the other side, the road came into sight. It was a bit more difficult to make out what laid upon it now that he was at ground level, but he wasn't all too worried. Turning back in his companion's direction, the phantom thief rested a hand on his hip. "If you smell anything that might be useful, don't be shy," he chuckled, deciding to take a light hearted tone. He figured he wouldn't have to worry about them not speaking up. With how open he had been thus far, he could at least expect for that in return or so he hoped that was the case. Maybe he was putting too much trust in Venom though. It was something he was simply used to doing with his fellow phantom thieves. All of them had quickly become reliable allies that Joker knew he could trust at all times, with the exception of Akechi, but when they had drawn him in, they knew he was up to no good. That was why they had tricked him although it was at Joker's own expense. That was something he didn't need to think about now though. Those wounds were still relatively recent and he hated to think about what he had gone through. "Also, we should keep our eyes peeled for any others that might be around. I have a feeling that if there our others in the same situation as us they might be shaken and think that you may be a monster of some sort." He hated to say such a thing, but it was true. Not everyone was going to react in the same manner that he did and he was sure they would be confused and scared. Surely Venom would have already thought of that though. The least he could do if such a situation came to fruition was to defuse it. He'd have to worry about that until the time came. For now, he needed to focus on supplies.

      Poppi!!

      ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

Poppi watched as Yang took off in the direction she had suggested, but hesitated to follow for a moment. Taking a moment to look around at her surroundings for one last time, the artificial blade decided that she had made the best decision on which way to go thus she finally pushed herself forward after her newly found companion asked if she was coming. Giving a small nod at those words, she found herself falling silent for the moment as she allowed herself to observe everything around her and take it all in. There was no harm in being as safe as she possibly could for the time being. There was no telling when someone dangerous might decide to show its face. The letter had stated that there were monsters around although it hadn't specified how common they were or where they might show up. That was why she needed to be on the look out. Catching up to the other girl, she stayed silent for a moment longer, unsure of what to say in the current moment. It was unlike her to be relatively quiet, but given the circumstances and a new companion there was only so much she could talk about. Her group back home was more than two of them and that helped keep conversations alive. Taking one last look around at their surroundings, the artificial blade found herself wondering a similar question as to what she had while she was in the Land of Morytha. Perhaps it was a place to start a new conversation. Averting her gaze towards Yang, she gave a small cock of her head. "Poppi wonders what caused this place to look like this," she began as she gestured around to their surroundings. Had it been a war? Or maybe technology itself had brought ruin this land much like it had to Morytha. It was hard to say, but it was a question that was bothering her. How were they supposed to save a place without knowing what had brought it to the state that it was currently in. "Poppi thinks this place was filled with many people, but fighting broke out. Big weapons probably were used."

Looking at the ruins before her, Poppi truly felt this place gave off the same vibes as Morytha and that made her uncomfortable. There was no saving places like that, but yet there was much they could learn from places like this. There was plenty of technology she could see that she had never set eyes on back home. The metal machines on wheels was one of the things that stood out most to her. Walking up to one of the rundown cars, she quietly observed it. "Maybe this technology helped caused ruin? Poppi does not know what it is so maybe it was part of bringing ruin."

He said nothing about the blonde teen's tongue. Being that she wasn't his subordinate, or someone important in any form to him for that matter, there was no reason to care about her lack of respect or general manners. Plus the Gifted was just as short tempered as she was ever since he was fifteen, so faulting her would be hypocritical of him. No matter which way someone looked at it Chūya had zero right to call the teen out on her mouth. In fact being stuck with someone as short tempered as he was could almost, almost mind you, be considered karma at it's finest. He was willing to bet the mafia boss and Ane-san would get a kick out of hearing the blue eyed petite Executive had to put up with something similar to what they had to with him. As for her question?

It was a fair question, particularly in the circumstances the pair found themselves in. Chūya knew that. It was also one which he should have expected to be asked eventually given said circumstances curtesy of X. Yet it wasn't a question that had been at the forefront of the young man's thoughts....showing his new temporary traveling companion his power. He was so used to keeping company that were all fully aware of his combat capabilities that the thought didn't really flag. Ane-san....Mori....his subordinates...even the members of the Armed Detective Agency now thanks to his ex-partner spilling the beans on him to them. They all already knew of the copper haired man's power so explaining things to the teen wasn't something he gave a thought about. Still Chūya supposed giving the the blonde a warning to not try anything foolish, if not reassurance of being able to trust him to back her up for now, couldn't hurt. Plus he needed to see if his ability was even still useable in this new world so rather then finding out on the fly... Pausing before turning to face his companion, "You've got those nunchuks right? Take them out. You hold onto one end and I'll hold the other."

𝐦𝐞𝐢 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐢 — [female] — [15 years old] — [another] — [tags: none]

Mei had gone shopping the night before. Kirika had requested some polishes for her dolls. Kirika would always, always hole up in the studio and work her life away on the dolls she so treasured. The dolls were fascinating, though, Mei would think. They had an aura of reality but fantasy only they could give. A balance of feeling and emptiness that only Kirika's realistic dolls could perfect. Even the one in the coffin— the one made to symbolize Kirika's miscarried child, was cute in its own right. Mei had brought the polishes home, and bought some food for herself. Kirika rarely cooked. Her and Mei would eat takeout most of the time. Mei missed going outside for things other than shopping and school, though. Back when the Extra was still alive, Ms. Mikami, there were many more things to do.
Mei stopped herself from reminiscing any further and put her sandwich and can of lemon tea on her nightstand. She was tired— for some odd reason— and fell asleep as soon as her head hit her pillow.

Mei woke up slightly dazed. The walls around her were wooden and dilapidated, and it smelled of rotting wood. Yuck. There were tools hung up on metal bits attached to the walls. The ground beneath her body was warm but hard— definitely not the janky bed she had fallen asleep on last night. Mei was used to living in cramped conditions, her adoptive mother's studio-apartment wasn't the best place to live in. But at least she was close to her school, Yomiyama North Middle. Not the best place to study, she might admit, but it had some odd, morbid charm to it. Now Mei looked out a hole in the broken shed she had woken up in. A big, devastated structure made out of cement and metal was in direct sight. Earthquake? Mei mused. She didn't know where she was, but she could ponder.

Mei got up from her flat resting place to find a note, a map, a can of lemon tea, one of her spare eyepatches, and a bag with her school uniform. She had fallen asleep in casual clothing, which meant she now had two sets of clothes. Great. She picked up the note and read through it carefully. What? I.. can't say I get it. Not entirely. But if a world where students coming back from the hands of death and memories being erased is natural phenomena... then this isn't that far fetched. Mei shrugged and slipped the note down her sweater's sleeve. She picked up the map and her belongings— dropping all of them into the uniform bag. She crept through the window-hole into the outside. The large, broken house was similar to the ones she'd seen on pictures of bigger cities— large country houses in the outskirts.

Mei stared at it for a long time, and then turned back to the now identifiable tool shed she had slept in. She blinked once and removed her eyepatch slowly. This whole place— it was painted with the color of death. She frowned. It was faint, but must have surely been darker before. Mei scrambled to put her eyepatch back on and ran out of the perimeters of the house. She saw various shards of broken glass, bricks, and miscellaneous debris on her way to the exit. This house was well fenced. She climbed over the fence, which was hard with a heavy goodie bag, and walked the rest of the way to her current spot.

She had walked for a short time when she came to a small, run-down plaza. Cars of various sizes were parked messily around it, and cans of food were strewn around. The cars almost looked like a barricade. If they were one, Mei could only assume that the people who built it were dead. The place was littered with debris, so Mei got ahold of a random piece of cardboard and swept away some grime from a bench. She plopped down on the bench and started studying her map. She was never that good at geography.

upon hearing the stranger's question, natsuki couldn't help but be even more confused and slightly intrigued. at the same time, her sense of slight suspicion returned, though natsuki did her best to hide it. though she had no idea what was coming next, it couldn't be something reckless, right? but as the thought entered her mind, natsuki felt a slight pang of foolishness. to stop a complete stranger from doing something reckless seemed a bit ironic, especially since she was among the most reckless in sees, next to junpei. but the stranger seemed confident enough, and he knew what he doing, she wasn't going to stop it. it was a small bit of faith, but it was enough for natsuki to go along with his plan.
"yeah, i still have them." from under her arm, natsuki pulled out her weapon, one hand gripping one end while the other end hung loosely in front of the stranger. "oh, and i almost forgot amidst this mess. i'm natsuki. what about you?" amidst the confusion and slight tension between her and the stranger, she must have completely forgotten. if she was to travel to the safe zone, it seemed better she tell him her name now before anything crazy happened.

Natsuki was it? Well hearing a familiar sounding name was a bit more reassuring....at least from the stand point of a low chance of her being from a foreign organization. Though still a possibility, it wasn't something he'd come accross as of yet. Even with this teen not being from his city. Natsuki had managed to earn a few brownie points from the blue eyed young man with this introduction regardless. Points that could only work in her favor or advantage in the long run no doubt. Raising a hand reaching for the free end of the weapon, "Chūya." Chūya took the dangling end of the weapon in his grip, "Chūya Nakahara.", he replied in kind to the young blonde. A crimson glow manifested surrounding the Gifted man's form before quickly spreading to likewise surround the nunchuck. The weapon instantly becoming ten times as heavy as Chūya used his ability to increase the object's gravity.

( HILDA VALENTINE GONERIL )
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
• Female • 18 • Fire Emblem: Three Houses • Tagged: open •

At first, Hilda had assumed that she was dreaming. She had retired to
her dorm early, Her stomach suspiciously bothered after eating one of
Claude's dishes. Of course he would use her as a test subject for
his poisons. Ooh, he's going to get it!
And yet, something was off. The pink-haired girl's surroundings were
vividly realistic, and her senses felt sharp as a dry wind blew through
the crumbling building in which she currently stands.
As Hilda scanned her environment, Her eyes caught on Freikugel, cast
haphazardly to the side along with a black satchel. She prioritized her
heroes relic first, feeling immediate relief when it returned to her
possession. Next, the bag.
The bag, well, that was an oddity, because it wasn't hers. But the
contents were. Except the letter. Beside her gauntlets, makeup, and
jewelry, was a worn envelope. She examined it for a few moments,
before peeling it open and reading the paper.
Okay, she definitely wasn't dreaming. No matter how wish she
was, The fact was that she was stuck here, unless if she could find the
safe place. Well, there was only one option then.
Gathering her belongings, Hilda stepped out of the crumbling building
and out into this unknown world

Eddie BrockVenom

Male | Venom/Marvel | Symbiote | Tagged: Joker

Joker smirked and looked away at Their compliment. Clearly he also had the hero’s humbleness, saying something about how ‘he wouldn’t be much of a thief’ if he didn’t watch his surrounding. The use of ‘thief’ was interesting. Joker had described himself as something similar to a vigilante or anti-hero before, and now he nonchalantly called himself a thief. Venom caught a whiff of fear on the teen, too, so it was most likely a slip-up. What was he stealing? Maybe he stole back people’s possessions from burglars like a modern day Robin Hood, or perhaps he stole evidence and turned it over to the police. Or heck, maybe he was just a regular thief by day and fought villains by night. Who the heck knows? It doesn’t matter anymore, not while they’re trying to survive in this place. There are no laws here, only Their own moral code. They will do Their best to keep as many people safe and alive as possible, no matter who they are or what their past is.

Venom nodded and followed Joker out of the building. With Their size and strength They moved around the rubble faster, but let Joker take point. Venom extended Their senses out, taking in as much as They could. Because of that Joker’s next words gave Them a bit of a shock and they refocused.

Oh, right. Yeah, Their appearance was...Venom hoped to stay bonded with Joker around. The kids nonchalance to Their well, alien appearance was such a relief. Eddie and V loved being Venom. It just felt the most right. Not to say their day-to-day lives as two separate beings didn’t feel right, because it did, but existing as one being was heaven on earth. Living together was like a slightly smaller heaven, and being separated was hell.

Joker was right, though. Venom looked like a monster and very few people would ask questions before attacking. Being bonded put three lives at risk, and neither Eddie or V were selfish enough to ignore that. Venom sighed, “You're right. We can be separate. We can search that way, too”.

The smooth surface of black ripples and shrunk, losing two whole feet in seconds. Eddie’s form came in to view, seeming to rise up from some great black sea that flowed into his veins. The mass around his head stayed outside and reformed into a smaller head attached to Eddie’s right shoulder. V formed their face and stuck out their tongue at him. Eddie smiled at the childish teasing, a common attempt of theirs to make him smile, “Hey there. Gonna stick outside?” He asked.

Yes.” V replied. Their voice was deep, but not as gravelly as Venom’s, “Have to keep Eddie and child safe. You suck at that.

Eddie didn’t even bother to argue. He really did suck at staying safe. Without V he probably would have died a dozen times over. He smiled and continued walking. V kept watch, their tongue extended to scent the air. Eddie was able to taste what V did, but so far all he got was dust, pavement, old rusted cars, Joker, the dead cat, and plants. Hopefully the pickings were good elsewhere.

      Morgana!!
xxxxmale unknown age persona 5 tagged: mei
      ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

It had been obvious to Morgana the fatigue his companion felt by the way he went to sleep before he he told him it would be a good idea. He supposed it should have been no surprise at all given what the boy had just gone through. Not only had they overcome one of their biggest challenges yet, but he had to play such a clever trick on Akechi to accomplish such. Of course he was going to be exhausted after going through all that. Nevertheless the cat was happy to see him back safely and resting up. That was what he needed to do. And there was no harm in him joining. Curling up on the end of the bed, the cat let out a soft yawn before closing his eyes. Despite being well rested, he still found himself drifting off to sleep and before he knew it, he was out like a light. What seemed like only a few moments, Morgana began to stir once again. Something instantly felt different. It wasn't hard to tell that he was no longer in his everyday cat form. There was always a clear difference between them that he could tell his two cat-like forms apart. Currently he was in his Metaverse one. But why? Maybe Ren was playing some cruel prank on him by dragging him into Mementos in the middle of the night. The boy had never done such a thing in the many months he had known him, but he wouldn't put it past him if someone like Ryuji was possibly egging him on to do it. If that were the case though, then why was in some rundown room? Sure, Mementos wasn't the greatest of places either, but it looked nothing like this from what he had seen. It was all subway lines. This was clearly not that. From a quick scan of the room, he was positive it was a cafe of sorts albeit an extremely rundown one at that. It looked nothing like Leblanc though thus he doubted anything had happened to his current home. If that wasn't what was going on then what was? Letting an irritated meow escape his throat, the cat gave a flick of his tail as he began scanning the room more thoroughly. That was when his eyes fell upon his weapons and what appeared to be two sheets of paper attached to the sword.

Scampering over to them, Morgana plucked the letter and map from their place first. Reading over the letter first, he let a confused mrow rumble from his throat as he cocked his head. "Rebuild this place?" he questioned. How was he supposed to help rebuild this place? Sure, he was human, or so that was what he honestly believed, but that didn't mean he was capable of doing such a thing. There was only so much he could do while being stuck in this cat body of his. Giving a shake of his head, he decided there was no point focusing on the negatives of the letter. There was a positive side albeit a small one. There was a way out of this. The only problem with that was that the way out was undisclosed. Clearly this X person didn't wish to make things easy on them. Morgana doubted that they didn't know where the area was if it did actually exist. If anything he was sure this X person had some other reason for dragging him and whoever else here. He was curious as to what that reason might be, but he doubted such answers would come easily. For now he would need to focus on finding his way around and maybe finding allies. That seemed easier said than done though. Giving a small shake of his head, he folded the letter back to look at the other sheet that had been provided. It was obvious at first glance that is was a map although it was crudely made. To him it didn't seem to be of much use given that it lacked any locations on it. All it showed was borders between what he assumed were countries, the names of said places, ann major landmarks such as mountains, rivers, lakes, and roads. As useful as those things might be, he had no idea where he currently was. He supposed he could figure it out if he went outside. Folding both the letter and map up, he tucked them away into one of his pouches along with his slingshot. With that done, he finally grabbed the curved sword and sheathed it across his back.

Now that he was prepared to head out, he turned towards the exit, which no longer had a door. That didn't matter to him. Making his way outside, Morgana looked around with a frown forming across his face. This place was much worse than he expected it to be. For starters, everything was in ruins, that much he had anticipated, but the overgrown plants that were sprouting through the cracks in the street along with the warmer temperature were things he hadn't planned for. Huffing softly to himself, he couldn't let such trivial things bother him though. He needed to push on. Wandering along the street, he kept his eyes peeled for any signs of life. Spotting a barricade of cars up ahead, the cat cocked his head in confusion and let a soft "huh" escape his mouth. It was an odd sight, but maybe people were behind it to stay protected. Did that mean a monster was nearby? Swaying his tail anxiously, he took a quick look around before deciding that it was safe. The barricade was probably old at this point and he had nothing to worry about. However, it might give him a better view of things if he climbed it. With a plan in mind, Morgana darted forward towards it and swiftly climbed the pile of cars until he reached its peak. Standing upon the roof of the topmost car, he began looking around and almost instantly his gaze fell upon a girl sitting nearby on a bench. It appeared that she was reading something. Perhaps it was the same letter he had received. If that was the case then it was possible he had found another that had been pulled into this horrid situation. "Hey!" he called out before jumped down from his perch. Moving closer to her, he came to a stop a few feet away just in case she took him as a threat. "You wouldn't happen to be lost in this place as well, would you?'

𝐦𝐞𝐢 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐢 — [female] — [15 years old] — [another] — [tags: morgana]

Mei wished she had in internal compass, like some animals do. She had analyzed this map for a long time— and given up on it. By now she was just looking at the lines and following them, to have a bit of pointless fun. Mei had never relied on a map before, except for exams and projects. The town of Yomiyama was pretty small so maps weren't really required. The girl had thought about opening her can of lemon tea and fancying a sip, but there didn't seem to be any sources of liquid nearby so she kept it closed. Maybe the safe place that the letter mentioned would have some normal, tasteless water. Mei also thought about Kirika. Yukiko Misaki. Her guardian would be pretty worried at Mei's disappearance. Mei was glad her unseen captor hadn't brought her cellphone.

A voice that seemed to belong to a young boy echoed around the barricade of cars. Mei looked up from her map to find a little cat-like creature. She frowned. "Its head is two sizes too large for its body." Mei mused. The tiny cat would stand at around Mei's knee if she stood up. What a curious creature. Mei noticed it had a sharp, silver blade on its back. Perfectly sized for the cat's needs. Mei blinked once or twice to finish processing. She wasn't surprised there were more beings here, how would X plan to rebuild a society with only one organism? She slipped the map back into her goodie bag and slowly waved at the cat. She'd learnt to be friendlier from Naoya and Koichi. Mei cleared her throat. "I wouldn't call myself lost," she began, her voice soft. "That wouldn't be good." Mei tried to give a small smile. She shifted her gaze to a broken down water fountain in the center of the plaza and waited for the little creature to come closer, if it so desired.

What if this little cat was just a spirit haunting her? Like in one of those shooter games that Naoya showed her how to play. That would imply this was all a stupid dream. Mei slightly turned her head and moved her eyepatch slightly out of the way. The little cat wasn't painted with the void of death. Mei sighed. This was someone she could potentially trust. She wondered where it came from though. Mei had never seen anything like it before. She didn't really watch cartoons as a child. "What kind of universe do you come from, little nekomata?" Mei felt smart for remembering that. She had never deeply looked into yōkai folklore, but she knew at least something. If this cat was really a nekomata, befriending it might prove useful.

kira miki awoke in a small building. to the right of her was a backpack with her few belongings, including a bottle of tea from jill, a map, and a letter. she opened her eyes and blinked at the ceiling. she was alive? she was alive! happy day! kira miki stood up and gathered the backpack and belongings, placing them inside carefully- except for the letter. she read this over carefully and decided it would be best to leave the building and look for someone else. "theres safety in pairs," kira miki told herself aloud. stuffing the letter into the backpack too, she heaved a sigh as she slid the backpack onto her shoulders. it was heavy with the tea inside, but she would make do. kira miki took a step outside of the building, which seemed to grow harder and harder to make out as she got away from it. eventually, it faded into the dusty atmosphere, and she could no longer see it. blinking a few times, she turned her head to the side, then the other, and decided to go... that way. whatever that way was. and it wasnt long before she saw a figure in front of her. "hello?" kira miki called out, raising a hand to wave in the figures direciton.
