Sift and Sierra started getting ready, packing their bags, and getting all excited.

RInger was lready on the bus, and there was an empty seat next to him.

Farah got out of her pickup and shut the door with a bang that echoed off the slopes. She went over to the back and pulled her board out. She had just gone into town to get it waxed and maintained. One of the foot holds had come loose and she almost broke her arm a few days ago. She was still sore.
Dumb board she thought.
She carried it under her arm and started walking towards the lodge.
She'd driven here a week or so ago before everyone else. It gave her a chance to brush up on her skills and tackle some of the harder slopes. She'd had her almost accident on one of the Intermidiate runs. She wasn't quite ready to tackle a notorious Black Diamond, the hardest runs at the resort. Especially not Black Moon. That one was a killer.

Forest left with her stuff. She was not carrying much, mostly her board. She got on the bus. She looked for a spot where there was nobody to be beside her. She sat down. She did not want to sit with anyone she did not know.
