The Tradtions

(Yeah, I haven't seen their rper in a while now...)

Cale changed into his pajamas and soon crawled into bed. It felt strange not having Jade beside him. But, he gradually drifted to sleep.

[Low Shoulder]

8Am came around and Jade was still sleeping.

[Miko <3]

Cale woke up with a small yawn and stretch. He glanced at the clock and grabbed a quick shower. Soon enough, he was in the kitchen making a batch of french toast. "Ha! Beat her to breakfast," Cale chuckled as he continued cooking.

[Low Shoulder]

"Why?!" Jade screamed in her sleep. "Why'd you do this to me?"

[Miko <3]

Cale nearly dropped a plate of french toast when he heard Jade scream upstairs. He quickly placed the plate onto the counter and raced up the stairs to the room that Aiko and Jade slept in. "Jade," Cale said and gently shook her. "Jade."

[Low Shoulder]

"Wha? What?" she jerked her head up.

[Miko <3]

"You were screaming in your sleep again," Cale said with a small sigh when she woke up. "I thought something bad was happening to you. What was your dream about?"

[Low Shoulder]

"My mom...and dad. And Saphire." she said. "They...they left. But Saphire came back" Jade said.

[Miko <3]

"Oh," Cale muttered and grasped her hand. "At least it was only a dream." He looked over to Aiko who seemed to be sleeping through the whole thing. "Heavy sleeper," he mumbled under his breath.

[Low Shoulder]

Jade nodded. "I smell french taost" she said. She smiled and hugged Cale.
